I really don't like this place. The fields are small and the scenario field sucks. It is a gravel floor with dirt mixed in and its very dusty. The bunkers are wooden and small and the field its self is very small too. Its supposed to be a black light field but the light from the rest of the building pours in and ruins the effect. The speed ball field is alright, I don't have much to say about it other than its kinda small. The pro shop has some good things but the customer service is terrible. They have food on location but it is bad and over priced. Just go across the street to Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, or Dominoes. Theres also Burger King, McDonnald's, and a few other places around the town to eat. The chrono area is kinda chaotic when there are noobs about. They arnt very safe and walk in and out without masks on. The refs get them sometimes for it but not as much as they should. They have HP and CO2 fills but the CO2 isnt free like it used to be. The admission price is WAY too high because theres only 2 fields. Also they are closed for half of the week. I once went to get my air tank filled after checking the business hours on the website and they were closed when I got there which was disappointing. Even the sign outside of the door said they should have been open. Im never going to play here again. I wont even go here for tank fills. I drive across the county to Brunswick to get my business done. |

They have two fields, an incredibly small, dimly lit scenario field and a pretty nice speedball field. Me and my friend played scenario the whole time because all these pros with $1000 guns were playin speedball and we woulda got our butts handed to us with those guys. The scenario field was dark and the ground was gravel so you couldn't move. and it was waaaaaay too small not enough room to make any good runs.
Go to Synergy or paintball zone or even village but you prolly wanna skip this one up. DO NOT come here if you are a rookie, just dont do it. Its no fun at all |

well we went here Friday, hoping to meet up around 5,but people were late.while i was waiting i was checking around the pro shop and they have a nice variety of equipment there.they had a vforce, proto, and jt masks, many dye and empire jerseys and other equipment, like marker upgrades and markers themselves.when i go there i always want to spend money.
they're staff was friendly, and helped me alot(since i don't play a heck of allot of speed-ball) and gave me pointers which helped me through the day.they didnt check the chrono speed though wiched i was suprised at,and during games they would sit on the sidelines behind shields, but most refs now adays do that.they had 2 fields, and xball field and a urban combat scenario field.the xball field was great, except some of the bunkers were deflating alot, but the refs took care of that problem.the other field i do not care for though.i wasn't able to see if my balls were breaking on the other people in the black lights, and the pebbles annoy the heck outta me.
the prices were fair, having 10$ admission on Fridays after you buy a case of paint.i went through little when using my sc phantom, but after i took out a semi i used a bit more.i really don't have many problems with the field, except the fact that its vending machines were out of dew, lol.
i will give this field a 6out of ten,ive seen better fields but this is still a nice field.i cant wait until they're outdoor field opens up. |

Let me just start out with that this is one of the BEST fields I have ever been to! The Pro-Shop is fully stocked, with markers lining the wall behind the counter, they are mainly Smart Parts, but they also have some low end brands too. The Pro Shop has over 100 jerseys, probably more. The paint price is REALLY LOW. I bought 2000 for $32. They have a snack bar, the food is PRETTY GOOD for a paintball field. They have push button compressors that fill up your tank in about 5-8 seconds. One con is the price for a 20 oz. fill (my friend had his Co2 tank) costs $5.00, ouch. The X-ball field has a slick turf, and the Paint shells and paint slicks it up, perfect for diving and sliding. The black light field is pretty fun and enjoyable to play in, the only bad thing is the gravel that they use for the floor. It makes me trip when I run. The chrono area tells you (obviously) you fps and also your BPS. You are also allowed to do some target practice in the area. The field safety is GREAT, every time I walked off the field, the ref made sure I had my barrel sleeve on, and whenever you would shoot bunkers for the hell of it, they tell you to stop and put on your barrel sleeve. You can shoot it like three times just to see if your marker works, but thats it. |

This is a really nice place. me and my buddy went up on thursday because it was byop, 20.00 to get in and all day air. the people were nice to greet us, i do not mind the swearing. big deal. the speedball field was excellent. BRING CLEATS. its pretty slippery, but they can`t handle that. after every game, the refs would go out and wipe the bunkers. Fill your own air didn`t bother me either. if your hungry, you can run across the street and there is bp, taco bell and dominos. me and my friend stayed to they closed,so it was us and like 3 other people. when we were leaving, the people would clean up the place where u get ready , getting all the paintballs and stuff like that.
all i all, this is one of the best places to play paintball by cleveland that is speedball. not like pbv with freakin pea gravel.

Service:
Was not a big fan at first. The employs were jerks, they were just full of what the hell looks. And they were no help at all, had to wait for everything.
Paint: It was nice, bought the cheaper kinda, and I chop one or two... but not that bad, a few bounces here and there, but otherwise not bad paint.
Field: Great field, the turf was awesome, field layout rocked, fully inflated bunkers.
All in all, not a bad field, need to work on Service a bit, and the language, if you get first timers with rents, they WILL not come back.

My brother and I visited this field because it was new and indoor. I had heard about its indoor Xball field, as well as the "blacklight" scenario field. We were both very excited to visit the field, but I am very picky and found this field to have a few flaws - yet overall it was a good experience.
Let's start with the begginning - the first impression. Very poor. We walked in the door, were greeted nicely, then checked in, and right after that the employees at the front counter started swearing, along with his buddies. Any place of business should know better than that! I personally don't mind but I know there are plenty of people that might have. I might have expected to read a set of rules before entering the field, but we weren't required to. Nobody announced them either. They were posted on the wall, but honestly, who reads those? Give your customers a quick run-down of what to expect.
***EDIT***
The second time I went to this field, their customer service was a LOT better. There was no cussing, quick service, and no "wtf" looks. The refs also gave a quick safety speech to some players who were renting for the day.
We walked into the staging area and I thought that was the only one - but I later found out that there is about 3! All are located in a different part of the building, so I suppose it's up to you to decide which one you like best.
We went to chronograph only because we knew better. If we didn't, nobody would have stopped us. The sign in front of the chronograph also told us to chrono under 280, but they didn't have their beeper set. So basically I could have entered the field at any speed I wanted and they wouldn't have known. The good part of all this is that we did get a quick, random chrono test, but only after a few games had passed.
The field itself is a good setup. I personally got bored with it very quickly. Many times, there were too many players on the field. It is only really set up for a 5v5 game. The referees cleaned the bunkers between every game. They also inflated the bunkers with a gas-powered leaf blower, in an indoor field. Whatever, I suppose they must be inflated somehow.
***EDIT***
The second time I played here, they had moved the field around and it was a nicer setup. Plenty of bunkers that were right up front, while there were plenty of secondaries as well.
Safety was a big problem. I left the field a few times without my barrel sock on - only once did a referee remind me. Good for him. There is netting all around the xball field, but it has many cracks and holes in it. They don't require masks behind the netting. There is glass right behind the field, then a space for players to walk, then the netting. There was paint broken on the glass. I saw plenty of people walk in that space with no mask on. Wouldn't you think that's a little bit of a safety risk?
***EDIT***
At one point I lost my temper about a simple misunderstanding - foolish of me, yes - but when I turned off my gun and walked off the field without a barrel sock on, another player - not even the ref - told me to put it on. Well congrats - you are absolutely correct - but why not take a look at the others who barely ever had their barrel socks on?
The players there were well natured. One player that I can recall just kept shooting me, even though I had called HIT and raised my arm. Is there an overshooting policy, or is that one of those invisible rules that nobody reads on the wall?
Another time, the same guy overshot another opponent, this time a younger player. The refs saw he got hit and called him out, then called game, yet that clown kept shooting. They were sure to let him know that when they call game, players stop shooting. They also said it in a very stern yet friendly manner. That's how it should be done.
I witnessed a girl shoot her gun in the staging area to see if it worked. Nobody told her not to do it again.
The setup of the facility is nice, but could use work. The men's bathroom could fit another inside of it. Wasted space.
***EDIT***
The scenario field was used this time I visited but I still didn't appreciate it much. The ground is pea-gravel and it's hard to find a good position at all on the field. They do have blacklights though, they turn them on when they use the field.
Customer service was HORRIBLE. Sure, they answer your beckoning for assistance when you approach the desk. But the way that they treat YOU, as their CUSTOMER, who is paying for THEIR jobs, is rediculous. One time I told him that his 4500psi self-fill air hose was broken because it leaked. He responded with a "no" and the look on his face was that of disgust. Yes, it was broken.
Another time I asked if CO2 was included in their "all day air". They responded by shooting me the most disgusted look ever. I guess it was a silly question, but I don't really care - I should be able to ask the dumbest question on earth and still be treated with the utmost respect. Remember, I am YOUR customer.
Another time, the referees were cool enough to get into a wrestling match in front of me. Great. You sure are running the show.
Where was the owner of this field? I would have been happy to point out all of these things to him/her. They need to get in there, control their safety measures, get customer service back on par, and give the referees a pay raise - they are the only ones that I think had a real brain in their heads. One thing for the refs though - articulate your calls. I dont like having to second-guess a call because he shouted it into the wall and not me.
Your website needs a touch-up. Remember that many first impressions begin there.
PROS:
Good enough Xball field, great turf.
Indoor
Plenty of players
Great pricing - regardless of what these idiots on here say, $60 a case is a fair deal. They need to recover the costs of overhead, labor, up-keep, insurance, etc.
CONS:
Safety measures need an overhaul
Customer service needs to be improved dramatically
Scenario field is not very good. I wouldnt even call it a scenario field, Im not sure what I would call it.
Overpriced snacks and beverages.
***EDIT***
The 4500psi fill hose is still broken - why? I don't think i've seen the owner yet. They need to get on that. The only complaint that I have this time around is that they don't separate players based on skill level. That's right - if you're renting, your most likely going up against an organized team. New players find absolutely no fun in getting owned game after game. Split your games up by skill - have one game where teams play each other, and the next game have the newer players play. It's only fair that everybody who pays gets to use the field that they prefer just as much as the teams that play there.
Tip - If you want to drink water or anything else, walk across the street to BP.| Last edited on Saturday, December 23rd, 2006 at 12:35 pm PST |

Refs: fair, pretty nice guys, were personable, played in a few games with us and were bad ass
Fields: there were two fields,
Xball field: pretty much up to pro standards, sliide friendly turf and the full supair bunker set up, basically it it was awesome, my favorite
blacklight field: smaller of the two fields, somewhat more newbish friendly, the gravel was somewhat rough, it worked out fine. Ive never played on a course like this so it was nice to try something new, was the favorite out of the two in my girlfriends opinion
hours, I think it was 10 to 6 on saturday. thats about all I know about that
Prices: they were basically right up there with all the other paintball places, I think I ended up spending 120$ for me and my girlfriend ( I sling a lot of paint so the price is probably considerably cheaper for just one person)
Rules: they were strict about masks on, and barrel condoms, which was good. They played fair, letting a few calls slide just for a few peoples newbish sake, but thats cool with me, overall they did an exelent job
Proshop, they were stocked with just about everyting you can think of, the proshop was a pretty open space, which is a rareity in paintball shops, staff was friendly and helpful
players, everyone there chrono'd and we had absolutely no problems
Facilities: bar none this place is the BEST in N.E. ohio, its basically band new with a great field and awesome field set ups. Ive been to probably every paintball place within 75 miles of my home, and this beats all of them
food: I know they had food, I wasnt hungry so no comment
Overall, If you want to have an enjoyable paintball experience, go to this place, me and my girlfriend had a blast. What really set this place apart from others is the friendly enviroment, and the customer service. They even asked for our input on anything that should be changed ect. I tried hard to think of something and couldnt. You dont get service like that at most places in ohio.
Im going to give it a ten out of ten because It was basically the perfect day of paintball |

Well, i visited this field and had an amazing day. They have "Team Practice Days" where admission is 15/ which gets you all-day air also. Paint is 45.00. When i went, the paint was nelson nel-splat, which i got no breaks whatsoever and pretty good accuracy.
They have a pro-shop which has about anything you would need, and their prices are fair, some items i looked at were the same as online price and a proflex was actually cheaper than it would be at action village. Not bad.
The refs were good during the games, but off of the games they were goofy humping the bunkers, one leaning in on a bunker while the other slammed on it making the other person fly off. They watched to make sure you were chronoeing, they checked every1 at least once. I think every1 there was trusted and there were no problems with wipers or velocity. There was a lot of sideline coaching though, didn't like that.
The fields were nice. Scenario was...ya know ascenario, and i didnt play it. Did look around in it though, it was hard to run because of the type of gravel they used. The x-ball field was amazing. A little small, but they had artificial turf which was also really nice. You could slide forever bcuz of the paint already on the ground, making the turf a little slicker, but not enough to slip on it.
The air fills were self-serve. Walk up, plug in your tank, pull the lever, watch the gauge, voila....filled. Really nice. The manager or whoever was running the place was really nice and when my n2 tank wasn't working correctly, replaced my fill nipple and everything was fine. For free too, no charge, thats awesome. Most places would charge you for a new fill nipple, not here.
Overall this is an awesome field, and i love it. I will be going almost every thursday for the team practice day. |

Well, I went here because I wanted to play with some people from Air action, but I dont think that is going to happen anytime soon.
CONS
First off, If you dont go on a practice night, be prepared to spend 20 bucks to get in plus 60 bucks a case of decent paint. ON practice nights, the admission is 10 bucks plus 45 for the cheapest case they have, which is Diablo Heat which absolutely sucks. There have to be atleast 10-15 easter eggs in each bag. The shells were dark purple so you could barely see where you are shooting. The lighting in the place was not that very good at all. One of the refs called me a douc%# bag, for no reason at all.
PROS
You get unlimited air fills with the admission price. The facility was really well set up. The refs did a good job on the field making sure your velocity was right. The proshop is stocked very well. They play good music(100.7).
ADVICE
I would get some better paint, like some Wrek elite for practice days, and some premium or blaze for open play. I would drop the admission and paint prices on open play days. I would make sure that the bunkers aren't shriveled up like a few that were there. I would make the lighting brighter. If PBworld would change these things, this would be one of the best indoor places on the east coast. |
