Review: I've been playing at Blood and Fire since the first weekend of May 2006. The field is small, but you get to know the regular players and the guys who run the place really well. They are all cool to hang with and we have lots of fun chilling in the shack between games. Prices are good, 5 bucks to get in and 50 for a case of nightmare. The only downside is that there is a lack of hpa, but that is being worked on. James usually brings his scuba tank to run his karnivor and ego, and he'll let you have some of his air for 2 bucks a fill. The play is fun, usually a few speedball rounds, and then a 45 minute scenario, more speedball, more scenario all afternoon. One of the nice things is how casual everyone is, and the lack of tournament teams that make play miserable. Overall great field. James, Nate, Phil, Jason, Johnny, Esther, Jess and the rest of the crew make it a really enjoyable experience, which is what keeps me coming back almost every weekend.

Skirmish USA- Avoid it at all costs... "cost" being stressed
Poco Loco- This place is a joke and a blatant Skirmish wannabe down to the paint and price.
Velocity- Local, friendly, but over catering to Tourney teams
Outlaw- Inside feild, but as run down as an outside feild. NIGHT PLAY!

Review: This field has slowly become my "home" field. The hours are great for someone who has a life on the weekend but can't do without their paint fix. Sunday afternoons from 2 to about 6. Paint prices are good ($40-$60) and they have a decent selection of about five brands and qualities. NO FIELD FEE, Huzzah! You must pay for Co2 and all my fellow compressed air guys are out of luck. Rentals are available in the form of model 98s. Safety is priority, but generally Competition is not. This is a huge relief, because everyone is there for the same reason. To have fun. There is a small speedball field, but most of the play will take place in a mixed woodland/urban atmosphere. There are good judges, but they can't cover all of the the 30-40 players, so the honor system is a nig one here. All you wipers better stay away unless you want to get lit up. No real gun techs if you get in trouble, but generally there is at least one person who knows their way around a wrench. Scenario format all day with reinsertion's equals lots of playing time for such a short day. Bottomline: If you want to go out for a quick afternoon of fun, or introduce someone who is apprehensive to the sport this is the place to do it. Very friendly atmosphere, and a great learning environment.

Review: Good - Friendly, General Rules of Safety, 2-6? give or take, NO FIELD FEE, $4 for 20 CO2 fill, Case of Heat was $45, A handful of refs, they were all good and fair, Little stand sells drinks and small food, a lot of people, nice field.

Not so good - You can only use C02, unless you fill and bring own tanks, short hours of operation. Not too much bad to say.

I have played a few different places over my years of paintballing. This was probably one of my favorite times to play. We all had fun, and it was cheap because of no field fee. I recommend everyone to try this place once or twice. We started with some speed ball (not my favorite) then we did a 40 minute scenario game followed by a few more speedball games, then a 40 minute ctf game, followed by a handfull of speedball games then another 30 minute scenario game. I had fun
