His field is right off of 9 as you are going to Leesburg from Charles Town. You turn left after the little yellow store and pizza place. However, you must sign the waiver to play there and you have to do that in Ranson, WV which is where his store is. Its on Lemon Road in Ranson. |

All I can say about Big Ls is that this is the best paintball store you will ever go to. The field is great for a small game or speedball. He has free speedball lessons there every saturday (all you have to do is buy paint). Larry is the most honest guy I ever met. He will give you the best deal on paint and equipment in the area. I looked around and he is the cheapest for everything. He IS CHEAPER THAN EBAY sometimes. Larry will also help you fix your gun and usually charges very little if any for that. He is an authorized Smart Parts tech and is certified by many other companies. I would definately check out his store and field. I highly recommend Big L's. |

Big L's field is the bomb u can do what ever u want to the field. The guy that runs the place, Larry Smith, is a really cool guy. He will help u fix ur learn ur gun if ur new with a gun or he can fix it for u. He can also order paintball stuff for u. Sometimes he will convince u not to buy some of his guns just because they are not as good as other guns. But u ask him what gun to get he will defiantly say "Get an Ion!" that is one of his favorite gun. He has these other cool guns like impulses and autocockers (with e-blades) but he still goes with the Ion. I just don't understand. But anyway u can play on his field for free just sign the waver he has at his shop so u don't sue him if u get hurt. He rents out equipment like scuba tanks, markers, masks and compressed air tanks. He usually give really good prices. You can find information of his field at www.biglspaintball.com| Last edited on Tuesday, April 4th, 2006 at 12:33 pm PST |

Me and my friends got desperate when we lost permission to play at this doods 15 acre lot (wood ball) because of the friggin deer patern (hard core hunter man). We thought we would never beable to play like we use to, frequent and often. I went to my friend josh hots house and he said guess what man, ill let you play at our property on the va/wv state line i was like cool. It turned out to be big'ls field. Well the begining of the year was cool. the place is a run down old paintball field which now looks like a war zone as mi friends call it. its 90 acres large and it has a crapy speed ball set up of shizzle barrels and some wood peices but the best part is the bunkered wood ball field. it consist of several wood walls with gun holes in them on a 10 acre stretch. The city field sux. the friggin city is for lil kids cus us big guys can't fit in the things. all in all its cool if your desperate but its over grown somewhat (killed mi frist copperhead with a paintball gun over there). games happen on sundays where the great reffs and great players are there. the refs are cool and they also are very resourcefull and they clean your barrel when it goos and they keep you from gettin shot when you are in paint break (why you should get a tippmann) |
