I have played at fields such as bunkers hideaway and pro advantage. My favourite field to play at is angry hunters due to the cost and fields. Angry hunters is extremely affordable and the people their are great. They have many fields to choose from like the town which is a bigger field great for more people or a quick game of speedball. |

Angry hunters is a great place if your an experienced paintballer or just getting into it. The people their are great and prices excellent. There are many fields to choose from six in total and soon there maybe more. There is a speedball field and many woodsball oriented fields. The town and bunker command are great fields. |

I have been to this field once. it was a decent field. the prices a better than most other places, the staff(family) is great. the fields are good. they are all homemade but that is alright. they have many fields but wen i went i only played at 3. the town is awesome, the speedball is fun, and the tire speedball? is a blast. i would recommend this field to someone who is looking for a cheap day of fun. |

I began playing at this field because of its proximity to my house (pretty close) and have not gone to any other field since.
This is a relativly new field to the area, but the owner has made great strides in setting up 5 fields to play on in a short amount of time. Each field is fully equipped with bunkers, dead areas (accept Fort Dispair, maybe work on that) and well groomed trails back to the staging area.
.
Some people have complianed that the field is a little "unorthodox" in the ways of proffesionlalism. Some of the rental guns are not perfectly clean and there are dogs around. but this field was started by a man who already has 2 jobs, and just wants to give people who don't have 120$ to throw away on a case of crappy seconds paint.
The refs are a tiny bit of a problem. Since they are players just like the renters, they often get tired of just reffing games and want in on the action sometimes. If you are a renter and the refs try to jump in, just firmly state that you want to play with your buddies and remind them that they are refs. I think that the problem is that the refs are actually just volenteers and are not getting paid to be there. However, that being said, when they are reffing, they are attentive and proffesional.
Speaking of the price of paint, that is a major reason why i keep coming to this field. The prices are very low compared to alomst any field ive been to. 10$ dollars gives you access to the field and free Co2. another ten gives you a Tippmann 98 custom, a twelve ounce Co2 tank and a mask. and 65 dollars for a case of paint. That is about half the price of anywhere else ive been. When people complain that the refs are playing games to, its because the refs don't get paid. they don't get paid because the owner doesn't have any surplus cash because he keeps his prices so low. pretty fair trade off if you ask me. anyway, the ref problem is easy to solve, as Ethan said before me.
The best thing about this field is the sense of family that develops from going there. Since it is not a tremedously large operation, you get to know the other players very well as well as the staff. The owner is a great guy and easy to deal with and most of the guys who go there to play just are there to have fun, not get competetive.
Overall, a great place to play. What better way to spend a sunday without spending over 100 bucks?| Last edited on Friday, October 13th, 2006 at 4:42 pm PST |

I decided to go to Angry Hunters over the Bunkers Hideaway ghost recon scenario game because i could not find any information on their site except the date of the game and rental prices. Bad move Bunkers.
The field is on spare property and past the house and the pond.
There are 5 fields i know of.
Bunker Command
Fort Despair
The Town
Bandit Camp
Redneck Speed ball
I played on all the fields except the bandit camp because it was overgrown and in disarray, it didn't look like that good of setup to play in.
The service is ok, not to many staff.
Two students i know from my school reffed and played so sometime there was no ref to protect the renters and inforce rules. Also these students were toting a black heart Ion and the Angel GAT. I felt very sorry for the renters that day who only had what looked like poorly kept 98c with stock barrels. You may argue that it is part of the game to take 6 hits close up at 14bps but i would never put newbies in this position. The students should have done their jobs and reffed and not played making it fun for the renters and not necessarily themselves.
PAST THAT POINT THE FIELD WAS AMAZING. Nice flowing game play with no major advantage to a side. The attack and defend game in fort despair was a lot of fun. I personally reffed when i ran out of paintballs (saving 1000 rounds for the game at my house the next week) The speed ball course was very spaced out and made of wood, no air ball bunkers but still fun. The speed ball field is going to be completely re done as i hear it.
$10 field fee includes all day co2. THERE IS NO AIR AT THIS FIELD. You will have to ask Josh or Keegan to use their scuba and pay i believe $3 per 1000psi. (of course no 4500 fills)
I highly recommend this field and you should come with a buddy so you can have a bunker buddy or a teammate you know. Just remind the refs to do their job and thank them after.

I am an avid paintball player and when me and my friend opened up this field it was a majour hit. Yes i am an employee but i also have some input on this field. Since i have played at such a wide variety of fields i noticed that our field is well kept. Lots of places dont maintain their bunkers and such. Our rentals are always in working order and the players love to use them. The people who come out and play are great as well, they always follow the rules and abide by wut the refs have to say and also like to give constructive critisism to the gameplay. I love playing and working this field and hope more people decide to show up. The price is right and the fields are even better.(btw this isnt razzor 777, im just using his computer...lol)| Last edited on Friday, August 11th, 2006 at 10:41 am PST |

i began playing at this field because i heard of the price and thought why not its another field and a change. what i didn't realize is that it would turn out to be a repetitive thing.I mean the people are great and the staff our excellent in helping solve problems and giving advice to all the newbies. there prices are great 65 dollars a box like where else do you find that and there are higher quality balls if your marker needs them or you just prefer. them the higher quality balls run great in my freak barrel with a 0.689 insert. there has never been any problems with the reffing when i have been there the refs are open to your thoughts and ideas on how the group wants to play a match or what teams are fair or not fair.the menu of food on hand isn't large but is great and consist of barbecue items such as hot dogs hamburgers and sausages these are all cooked wonderfully by an employee. |
