This was my 3rd time coming to N.C. Tactical to paintball. Yet again it was an awesome time. We had about 18 people come. N.C. Tactical has the lowest prices hands down of any field in the area. Even for die hard woodsballers who would prefer going in the woods themselves, N.C. Tactical is hard to beat. The field fee is only $10, which includes ALL DAY AIR! They even have Compressed Air like Dickens or any field who wants to look legit by having compressed air. Unlike "sounds-fun" fields, they don't rip you off on anything, no charging people per air fill, and especially no crazy paint prices. With $40 for a case they have he best paint prices anywhere. You can go to PBC or any other retailer and the same case of paint is $46-52 for the same case. The paint is Recsport, so it is better quality than Monster Balls, or cheaper low end paint. PLUS, N.C. Tactical is one of the only fields in N.C.
Many people try to complain about the field, but the "worst" thing there is some briers, which can be avoided by wearing pants. The easiest pick-up course is the bunkers, American base, and barn. The Bunkers vs. American base is great because it is a mix of Speed-Woodsball. It has wooden bunkers on the "attacking" side that go in staggered form toward the mid line, or the dirt mounds. The attackers have to fight their way across different bunkers, including an old boat. The Barn is easier to reach from the attackers position, but less protected, and vise versa for the defenders.
The American base has a main defensive position with bunkers on either side and in front of it. It has two "towers" to attack the enemy. Truly this is the best attack and defend courses of all other paintball fields.
Along with that course there are also 4-6 bases around the field, so the possibilities for a battle are endless. This is the best bet for any size group too, from 10-15 to 50-60 people, N.C. Tactical provides the ultimate paintball experience. |

If you are a woods baller, make this field your new home. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the regulars enjoy playing with new players both to the sport and to the field. The field encompases over 40 acres with many bunkers including a barn, an american fort that's in the middle of an open field, bunkers, and of course many wooded areas. Prices at NC Tactical are excellent, 10 bucks to play all day with your own gear, and 40 bucks for a case of "field" paint, which actually turns out to be good stuff. There's also a few people there that can help with any technical problems with your marker. About once a month they hold night games as well which are incredibly fun. If you want to have a good day out playing paintball, come to NC Tactical, they really do their best to make sure everyone is having a good, fun, and safe time. |

My son and I had a blast during Saturday's game. Wop, Mike, and Willie do a great job and work their butts off. The night gaming with the high intensity lights and orange smoke was WAAY cool! The prices are low, the field is great, and you can't beat the camaraderie! This is now our regular field; see ya' there. |

This is a new field. Or rather a new location for a field started last year. I attended their grand re-opening scenario. I had a good time. They had several refs on the field. Everyone was chronoed before the game supervised by refs and they had at least one hand held chrono on the field. They have a good woods field with a few bunker complexs scattered around, the barn which was fun to play, and "The Tent" which sits in fairly thick woods on the back side of the field on a hill. The Tent was deffinetly my favorite base. Lots of trees, natrual trenchs, a creek, and some built bunkers. Old school woods action at it's finest. They also have an air ball field for the speedball guys which sit in the center of the scenario/woods field and is utilized during the big games.
It is a good field, with a good group of guys running the place. I look forward to seeing what allthey get done to it base and bunker wise. I will be back for another event. |

I have played at PBC Sports Park in Greensboro several times, once as a group play. While the speed ball was interesting, I am more in to the woods ball since I am prior military. The staff at NC Tactical were welcoming and my son and I feel like old time players at the field. They had referees on the field. The first time we were there the number of players was small, it was fun though. We especially enjoyed the defending the barn. That seems to be a favorite of everyone at the field.
The second time we had more players. There is plenty of area to play. This time it was defending and attacking an army tent setup as one of the bases in the woods. Playing both these scenarios have helped my son, friends and I quite a bit about tactics. The group of guys playing there are free helpful and friendly.
The prices at the field are quite good as well. They have a $10 field fee which includes all day play and CO2 or Air. Their paint prices are as good as any of the other fields in the area. The paint ranges in price from $40 to $50 a case. If you want to bring your own paint there is $15 dollar charge. They have a lounge in their trailer, which acts as there store and has working bathrooms. In all I can't find anything I didn't like about the field and it is where my friends and I plan to play from now on. From what I hear they hold a really good scenario and we are looking forward to playing their first one at the new field. The scenario is called Afghan Patrol and you can get more details on their web site. |

This Field is like the best in North Carolina. The layout of the field is all woods and they also have speed ball. The field is all natural, there is no metal or plastic bunkers to hind behind(except the speed ball field). The owner and the staff are very nice. I highly recommend to play at this field. There no body telling you what to or to move up and it is family atmosphere. |

My son and I played here for the first time yesterday. We had a great time. There could have been more players but the weather was kind of bad at the start of the day. The owners are really nice, friendly and concerned about safety. Refs were on the field every game. The people we played with were really nice and competitive. The field is really large with great terrain. Nice bunkers and layout. If you like woods play this place is really great. They have a speed ball field too. They are in the process of building it up but things looked really great so far for only being open 4-5 months. It looks like a good place for a scenario game.
I would feel safe letting my son play there by himself which is something I could not say for some of the other fields in the area. We had a good experience and plan to go back this weekend. Prices were reasonable. |

This was my first time playing walk-on at the field. There were a bunch of guys from Wake Forest playing there that day, so it made it a lot of fun. The staff were very nice, safety-oriented, and the players were easy to get along with (none of those 40 year old guys screaming at you to advance into the line of fire). The bunkers and props are put together well and actually LOOK like what they are supposed to represent. Overall I had a great time, and I will definitely be going back. I've definitely found my new home field. |

This is my first time playing. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. They helped us with our rental guns . They explained all the rules and made sure we knew the safty rules. The whole day only cost thirty dollars with all the rental eqipment and paint. Our refs were really outstanding they gave us pointers and different places to go to on the speed ball field. We played one game of woods ball that was ok . I really enjoy the fast pace of the speed ball. We went with five other people from work. I will be taking a few of my friends back . The field was very fun and friendly. There were a few player that were very good. We got to play with them . they were also nice. I would recomend trying this field to everyone. For a person who never played they made me feel at home. I would like to thank evey one at the field. |

OK.... Let me start by saying that this is a BRAND NEW FIELD and It is already run better than most fields I've played at. The owners are very interested in what there customers have to say about the field. Sure they may be missing a few amenities that the larger fields have, but they are trying to get up to speed. Remember, this field has only been open about a week now. The woods are cool with a lot of bunkers and different terrains. The airball field is well maintained. They keep it mowed and the bunkers inflated. To me that means alot since I used to play at Carolina Paintball and you couldn't make it through a game or so without having to refill the bunkers :(
They are big on safety. They make sure everyone is wearing masks and using barrel sleeves. They are also pretty good when it comes to chronoing guns, they are fair but strict and that's a good thing.
If you ever have any problems you can go to anyone working at the field and they will be glad to help.
As far as I'm concerned... I just found a new "HOME FIELD" |
