Review: Hours of operation are excellent. Safety is a must and they promote it at Ke-West. The field is fantastic and the best I have ever been at. The operation is A1 and everyone is helpfull and the place is so clean, it's great. If you are older like me you can bring your whole family as there is something for everyone. I have not been to paintball Daves in years so if it is even still open their operation was completely different than Ke-West but their indoor facility was an old warehouse and it was the pits. Paintball magic which closed a few years ago, was a great place to play but it was all outside so rainy days could be a problem. I have yet to play on Ke-West outdoor town but it looks like it could be a blast. Prices at Ke-West are reasonable considering the facility must have been costly to build, but considering it's size, cleanliness and all around facilities I would say I had a great time for a reasonable price and definitely will return. And the food was good at any price.

Review: Made the long journey out to KeWest, and it was well worth it. In mid winter it was a nice break from freezing my tail off.

I'll hit the bad first, to get it out of the way. No real orientation speech was given to me. I'm old, so I assume they guessed I knew what I was doing. I chronied myself, same story again. On the first night I was there, the local tournament players were "scrimmaging" and it was hard to get into the game. Another outing was different, but be aware that the local teams are fairly closed ranks. They had airball bunkers set up for a defensive strategy, which isn't my style. But it's airball, the layout can change every hour if they wanted. I think the home team was practicing for some event before we got there.

On the good side, just about everything else. Changing rooms on site, real plumbing, real food, and all the other things that almost all the outdoor places never have. The prices are reasonable, for all the amenities you're getting. I haven't tried the outside theme town yet, but I'd like to. The facility was well lit, clean, and the staff actually helped me find some gear that got lost on the field! I also enjoy fields with more than paintball going on.

Neutral, I was amused that wearing my woods stuff to play in the arena setting got the reaction that it did. There was a mutual respect from the arena players, I respected their ability as they did mine. I was asked a lot about scenario games, where and when they were. It was refreshing that I didn't get the usual attitude of "go back to the woods", but they wanted to know how to get into it.

If you don't mind the drive, Ke-West / Stingers is a great facility. Plus there's enough for the kids and the sig. other to do while you're shooting in the arena. Make a day of it.

8/10 overall rating.

Review: I went there once in the winter to try out some of the indoor paintball stuff, the indoor field was nice and i like the turf, but the stinger crew was very cocky and mean, they would bonus ball there opponents and not compliment them in any way. i would go up to them and say good game and all they would do is look at you and walk away. i liked the field very much but i dont think i will go there and play with stinger team again. the paint prices were pretty good for that paint that you get. the indoor field was a nice experince but the stingers staff kids were not. i will probally not go there again.

Review: First off, the Stinger Factory team are a bunch of immature kids. They are huge bonus ballers and have nothing better to do than ruin others fun.... Well, thats pretty much the worst about stinger but the fields are okay and the paint prices could improve. Much like the other stores accepts the seige paintball. The Siege is the most premium place to go. Why???

The Siege: -excellent staff
-great fields
-Good prices
-helpful with repairs
- team(s) are pretty cool
Stinger.... Okay staff
okay field
okay prices
team is a joke

Review: First off I have been playing paintball for over 18 years, I've seen alot of fields and how paintball has evolved from backyard woodsball to full out arena tourneys. I don't work for Ke-west nor do I know anyone who works there.

They are only @50 minutes from Milwaukee, regardless it is worth the drive! The facility is by far one of the best designed and the best maintained places I've ever been. Unless you are a regular NPPL, PSP or ??, this place will give you the opportunity to play like the big boys. Full tournament level fields and facility will meet the requirements to hold pro level tournaments, see other's reviews. This place also is perfect for rec., practice, and parties. They have field level party rooms and a mezzanine level cafeteria with full field view.

Besides having a superior paintball facility, they also have an awesome indoor mini-golf and childrens entertainment portion of the building.

Pros:

-extremely clean, cat litter??? NOT THERE!
-superior fields with padded turf.
-very well lit! (excellent lighting)
-excellent professional staff, very accommodating
-safe, just because people aren't constantly on your case for being safe don't think your not being watched. (this makes it much more fun).
-pro-shop on site with good product in stock. Some have complained that the prices are somewhat high, compared to the internet maybe. Remember that most of the guys you buy from don't have a 4 million dollar facility that uses gas and electric with 20 employees that get paid by the hour. A candy bar costs more at the gas station than the supermarket, there is a cost for convenience.
-decent field paint, recommend upgrading to their better paint for $10.
-prices are fair, cheap when you look at what you are getting.
-excellent food and vending.
-clean bathrooms and dressing rooms.
-the place smells good!
-easy to get to, right off hwy 45
-self serve 3000 psig and 4500 psig air, no line, no wait and good fills.

Cons:

-I would have liked to see someone checking tank hydro dates. This is to protect all of us.
-I would eliminate the 4500 psig fill for self serve, 3000 for the most part will be fine when it's free and self serve. Some people just aren't aware that there is a difference.
-lockers would be nice, even just for small items (wallet, keys, marker). I would not be worried about stuff leaving, but you never know when a bad apple comes rolling in.

Overall:

Great time, will definately be back (heck I may never play anywhere else ;) )

Review: this has to be the best paintball field in Wisconsin. they have GREAT turf and they have room to make a full X-ball field or NPPL, or two 5 man fields. they change their steup every week so it always somethign new (they also have indoor mini golf and arcade)

*the field is really clean just like the whole place they like to pick up a PVC pipe broom thingy and clean it when every they can

*they have awesome hours they r open every day but mondays, pretty late to midnight on saturdays.

*its not that bad price its $20 field fee w/ all day air and then $60/case.

*they have all right proshop they should ave what u r looking for.. kind of pricey

*they have a great staff that will help you with pretty much nething.. the refs r great but some of them r kind of lacking when they go over rules if there r some newer players there

*there r usually at least 10 people there during open play every weekend.. i guess they have great team practices people say up there.. im plaining in getting up there for one one time

*if u get hungry they have a little cafe upstairs but they r pricey its like $4 or $5 for a hotdog but u can get a pizza (which is great) and a pitcher of soda for $11

*the rules are pretty much the same at every place no contact, mask on when barrel sock off, barrel sock on when not in the net, dont shot the lights, and they wont let u jump over bunkers.

over all this is the best field over i recommend it to neone who whats to play top of the line indoor paintball i give it a 10 out of 10

Review: This field is by far the best indoor (and probably outdoor as well) field that i have played at. getting there is not hard, and once there, everything is easy.
went for a team practice on a sunday morning. the staff was very helpful and organized in collecting waivers and allowing us to open a team tab.
The Field was amazing. great turf, great netting, great bunkers. i wish i had brought my cleats though, kinda slippery with bball shoes on. the staging area and bathroms were very clean, and our team had no problem finding a table even though we arruived prety late compared to the other teams.
I highly recommend this field and encourage anyone whi is gone to try to promote the field best they can.

Review: Pros- the reasons you need to play here
This field is really clean, great setup with the bunkers and field with a tournament feel to the layout. The staging area is massive all areas of the building were clean and well kept. The staff was great and friendly and helpful. When I was there, there was about 20 people playing give or take and when the groups got larger there were 2 refs on field. Prices- the field fee is great $20 all day play and all day air you cant go wrong with that when playing on a field of this size

Cons- I don’t like to focus on bad but these things need to be addressed
The first thing I have to point out is safety the orientation was kind of lacking, I know my way around a field but for new players there were some key elements that should not have been skipped like what to do when hit, how a paint check works, field speed or what to do if your mask dose come off in game or anything about the rental gear to the people with rentals. The thing that scared me the most was there was nothing said about the air system to anyone that I seen. They have a self fill station with a 3000psi line and a 4500psi line to choose from, so if someone really didn’t know what they were doing there could be some severe problems there. The reffing was good-ish at best since this is a tournamnet grade field it should have been better, I really don’t expect alot in rec ball, from new players but there were more then several experienced players out there playing on and wiping that I saw, well I was watching on and off the field. Major turn off for new players to the field, no one likes to play with cheaters, then again people cheating wasn’t covered in the orientation either. Prices paint should be cheaper it’s $60 for nightmare, considering this is a mid grade paint it’s kind of high and no other paint choices, big fields like this need at least 1 premium brand for the players who want to use a good paint. The pro shop was ridiculous with prices and that’s all I’m saying about that.

Overall
I had a great time playing here and I plan on going back, there are a couple kinks the field needs to work out but these are the same problems any new field has and learns how to deal with over time and with experience. Give this field a try may not be the best field for beginners or people new to the sport, might be why there are not large group's on a regular basis. But I had allot of fun

Review: Pros-
This field was absolutely amazing. The fields are great, they have a full X-Ball bunker set and a full nppl set. The turf is great. Its plenty cushioned, clean, and just amazing overall. Another great thing about this field is how clean it is. Every time the refs have a chance they run and grap their cleaners and PVC broom things and clear off all paint on the bunkers and floor, and a few times of day they grab the blowers and make sure all the bunkers are nice and firm. The staff is great too. I left my barrel sock at home one day and they just handed me one of theres and let me use it the rest of the day. The refs are great, and safety it good as well. They seem to be open all the time, so you can always squeeze in some time to play. Prices are ok with 20 entrance and all day air then 70 i think for a case of empire engage i believe it is. They have a proshop, and it has most things you need. Also if you want they have a cafe upstairs with windows that look down onto the field, and good food.

Cons-
One thing i can think of is they just need to find a way to advertise more. Everytime i have been there there was never more then 6 people including myself for open play. Practices are packed, but they just don't attract a lot of people for open play it seems like. Another thing is the paint is HUGE!! The biggest back i have for my redz is .693 i believe and its still pretty tight and leads to a few breaks daily. Also the proshop is extremely expensive. I needed a new gas fitting, and they charged my 5 dollars for a straight gas fitting!!!

Overall i love this field, there is just a few things that i had problems with but its by far the best field i have played at. If you are thinking about traveling up here (or down) i definitely think its worth it.

Review: This Paintball Field is the new Standard in Indoor Paintball.
The Field has he Best Turf
The Field has theBest Fields( Brand New Full Size NPPL and X Ball Fields)
The Field has a great staff
The Field has a good competition on sunday practices
The prices are very fair. 60 Dollars for a case of paint and admission and air for a sunday practice.
The pro-shop has all bare essentials and the newest stuff from Dye, NPS, Empire...
This Field is the real deal.

The Field has only been open about 5 months now, and now the players are really starting to come.(Response to previous posts)

Last Sunday we played 7 man all day and there was about 4 or 5 complete 7 man teams there. It didnt seem crowded at all either.

Also the field is always clean and the home team there is always helping out newer players if needed.
