Cheapest place to play. Yes it does get slippery but I've learned in a place like this you really don't need to run hard because of the tight quarters in areas. I've always liked this place since the first time I played there. I do like how they change the playing field every week or so to keep it fresh. The staff is top notch. They make sure everybody knows the rules, respect the rules or it will be dealt with. Everybody gets chrono'd here or you don't play. And everybody gets the same level of respect there, and its great to see and have experienced players help younger and less experienced players get into the game and have fun. I like woodsball, but this is my first choice when I think about playing for a weekend. Plus, if you play a saturday and come back Sunday. It's only $5 all day field and air. First off let me say that this really is not a "field" for some players. If yur a speed ball player don't go here unless your looking for something new.
Pros- (staff) The staff here were extremely nice and they did a new comers brief to everyone from what i could tell. They are not too experienced on higher end guns, besides tippmans and spyders they are clueless lol. They were always quick to get games going and if one team was stomping the other they would redivide the teams to try and get an even play. staff 8 of 10
(field) The field here is an interesting change from your generic speed ball and hyper ball fields. They have all kinds of random bunkers and forts all over the place and it is a good sized field.
(pro shop) non existent
(prices) The prices were extremely competitive the paint that i used was probably b- paint but it wasnt too bad
Cons-(staff) Lack of knowledge on higher end guns as stated above. They use the handheld chrono's which only work half the time....i would like to see one of the stationary chrono's that seem to be the standard at most fields. Reffing is kind of non existent, when i went the owner just stood outside the net and did his best from there which led to lots of wiping.
(field) The floor is bare concrete with some wood chips thrown on it but most of that gets kicked aside and your left with bare concrete and paint which leads to you busting your ass a couple times. The bunkers could definately use a washing just for general purposes...whether they have the ability to do that i dont know just saying.
Overall- Overall this place has a friendly staff good prices and an interesting field....if you are a new player then this is a good place for you to start because most people that are there are just starting off. If you are a more experienced player then i suggest you check out powerplay paintball in waco....if you can get out there if not run with the newbs and do your thing. Im giving this place a 6 of 10 for general grading but for new players this is a 10 of 10 field! |

First off I would like to thank all the people here at the field for the great job and dedication they put forth to this place and really bringing a great paintball place to a semi-run down area
Feild: The set up here is VERY differen't than your average paintball field. The whole place is one big indoor area with tons of forts, nets, bunkers, towers, and much much more.
Saftey: The staff goes over the rules with every newcomer to the field, explaing the rules and getting each person accquanted to the world of paintball. Rules like mask always on inside the nets, and barrel socks on at all times outside the net. Overall they place is very very safe, basicly if your playing paintball in the first place you should be responsible enough to ensure you are following the rules yourself, not having the staff remind you constantly!!!
Prices: All prices are EXTREMELY cheap and fair. And if you return and play the following day its over $5 dollars to play again, how can you beat that!!!
Staff: The staff is great. They may not be the most experianced people with it comes to most high end paintball fields but you have to remember this isn't your normal field. For the type of set up on this feild, they are experts, especially the majority of them being military or retired vets. There are younger guys working there on the weekends aswell and they are all paintball fanatics with alot to offer new players aswell as experianced.
Pro Shop: The place is lacking a pro shop but alot of people don't know that you CAN order from the front desk and UPS will drop of whatever you order within 2-3 days. I have ordered a few things already and loved the shot wait for my product and having had any issues with anything i've ordered. I highly recommend local paitball players to look into this if your interested in purchasing anything anytime soon. Its much better than dealing with paintball websites online! Yes it would be nice to maybe see a pro shop there sometime in the near future but for now they have the next best thing!
OH and they are supposedly opening up a snack bar ( hell yeah )
Overall this place has sooooo much to offer and is a great paintball field. Thanks again to Larry, Alex, and all the rest of the guys for everything!
10 out of 10 for sure!

This place is alot of fun and the staff are really nice. They do need to fix it up alot. it is really not that safe at times. they need to nail down some of the struckers more and add more padding to the floor. they also could open up a store to sale products. over all the place is great just needing some small improvements. |

Great indoors course. Good place to play for n00bs like me. You can get a rental gun and air and mask for about $28. Paint is $12 for 500 balls. If you come the day after you play it will only be $5 for rentals or $5 to play fee. The only downside to it is in certain areas the floor has no dried up paint on it making it slippery. Crono is 270 FPS. Majority of the players are soldiers stationed at Ft. Hood. The staff is very nice and will help you out. |

This is an awesome place for beginners to start out with the greatest sport out there. Its cheap here than any other in Tx. Best employees with great customer service. They treat every player equal except for the younger kids. For example, if a kid gets hit more than once when already out that person gets on the firing squad. Firing squad is when, that little kid, shoots that person on the back once. The field play is great, bunkers get moved around. You get differnt types of games going on. Good place to have a birthday party or just have a gropu event. Great sport and safest.. |

I would first like to say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. They do exhibit signs of being new in the business, but they also show a willingness to learn and will listen to customers.
As for the layout it is ok. I would like to see better netting protecting the stage area. The current netting does have a few holes, and gaps. The addition of a second net would help tons. Also lockers would be very nice to have. While the staff did allow me to keep my stuff behind the counter, it would have been nice to be able to just lock it up in a locker.
The field does change layouts and they are proud of this. Good idea because, with it being so small it will keep it more even between newer people and those with lots of experience at the field. One concern I have is if or how often they clean the structures, floors, netting? It was quite slick, even with the sawdust.
The types of games were run well and they did have some neat ideas, that turned into me having a good time. I would like to see more of a presence of a ref staff out on the field.
Safety..... This is a major area for me personally. They seemed pretty relaxed about safety. I would definitely like to see it pushed alot harder. Especially with alot of new to the game players, that I saw at the field. Mask and barrel sock enforcement was definitely not consistent, or being hard enough in my opinion. This could be a big draw back for many more experienced families that play together, or for parents that do more than drop their kids off. While Larry was pushing it, he was only one person and, needs the help of more experienced players and staff, to combat any future problems with this. If you go there and see any deficiencies help correct them. Remind players to put their masks on upon entry, and Barrel socks on everywhere but on the field.
Cost was great, but I would like to see some variety in paint available. It will be nice if/when they get a pro-shop up and going.
Overall I would say it is a decent field, with a ton of potential to grow. The staff being happy to listen to ideas, shows alot. I will be going back if for nothing more than to get practice in for bigger games I go to.
