Review: The safety is great because of the indoor conditions. The prices are very low. The staff is full of funny nice men. Playing days are Tue., Fri. ,Sat. and Sun. The bunkering rule is for advanced players only, not for newbies or anything else. And you cannot take your mask off in the fields. You must keep your barrel sock on every time you go back into the main room. The pro shop has a large inventory of markers, accessories, clothing and spare parts. I highly recommend Gatsplat.

Review: I have been playing at this field for about 2-3 months. I go every Saturday, with a couple of friends and its been a blast for the most part.

How it is set up:

walk in the door there is the staging area, usually there is someone there to greet you and ask if you need anything. The first thing you'll notice is probably that the staging is huge. Lots of tables, unique choice of paints for the walls. its never hard to find a table. The floor is clean and they have drink and snack machines as well as numbers for pizza and theres a Wal-mart a min up the street if thats not good enough. Most players are willing to shift their stuff to accommodate players. I have never had a problem with any of the players.

Staff: friendly, helpful, and humoring. They will help you out with just about any dilemma you have. This customer service is fantastic. only problem maybe that all the people are busy and are not at the desk.

Prices: 20 bucks all day air and entry fee, choice of rental packages, 3 dollars for an air tank, paint is kinda pricey, but the quality of the paint is good. 55 dollars a case of 2000, standard price for good paint from what my research shows.

FPO: This field is a field paint only field. That means you must buy their paint, and you risk serious problems should you sneak non field paint on the field, you may regret it for the rest of your life.

Fields: The indoor fields are air conditioned. They are cold when you first walk on them, but after running around its not bad at all. The field set up is different week to week, and maybe even day to day. This adds a unique characteristic to this field. Field set up is usually pretty balanced, one time I don't think the cover was set up completely fair, but when your dealing with matching up 10-15 bunkers on a field perfectly with a squad of people and no instruments or makers, error is bound to happen. The turf on the field is nice, and is slide/dive friendly. I have bad knees and I can slide with no pads easy, it kinda hurts when I do it, but I will get pads eventually.

Play setup: After you are checked in, you are established with a level of experience. Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. If you are unsure, they will help you figure out what level you belong in. Here is the real cool thing. Say your a beginner, and your just wiping the floor with your opponents, you want a challenge. you can as a beginner step/play up to an intermediate or if your gutsy enough advanced level. However, you can not play down. This means the advanced players can not play with beginners unless the beginners want to play with them. Rounds are called for each level on a regular basis. so you will get to play, just depending on when you show up you may not be ready to go straight into play.

Pro shop: The pro shop is stocked with stuff from jerseys to gun parts. The prices may be negotiable, again the staff are willing to answer questions about equipment, or prices. I have not purchased anything, but my friend bought some arm pads. The pro shop extends all over the staging area, this prevents a mass of people huddling in an area. Weather it was intentional or not, its a good design.

Food: The only thing i have a problem with is that the machines are picky about the dollars they take. Snack machine and a soda machine stocked with soda, Gatorade, and monster. As stated before, numbers for pizza are availiable, and there is stuff all around 121 should you feel like something else.

Security: Cameras everywhere. I feel safe leaving my stuff on a table and playing a game. There are a ton of visible cameras around, they have probably every inch of the place on 3-4 different cameras. RF ID tags in the rental equipment, so the alarms go off if you walk too close to the door with the equipment, rather have them over sensitive than under sensitive.

and finally...the refs.

Refs: Refs are fair, and approachable. In game it may be a little hard to get a refs attention as they are watching for hits and violations. I have managed to get a paint check when I asked. They're not afraid to run in the middle of the firefight to check for hits, last time i went, there was a party for beginners...I think it was teachers against students, but the refs would run around with pods of paint and refill the players on both sides to keep the action going. I have never seen that. oh yea, and refs make it a point to say "Player is out, let him out" so that you don't get shot repeatedly, although i have a couple of times. Fair count, and they make sure both sides are in clear before the count begins.

This review is as objective as i can make it. I can not say that this review has no subjectivity to it. I do not work for the field however it doesn't seem like it would be a bad thing to do, the environment is friendly enough. I received no payment or compensation for this review. I will stand by my points made in this review. This field is good, but is not perfect, I give this 9 out of 10. The only downside to this field, is that it only has 2, I hope they expand. another field would add that much more to the mix.

Review: AWESOME FIELD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
every thing there was great.. the owner is the coolest guy ever and the refs are freakin cool to.. and unlike a lot of fields they actually know what there doin and they do there job...
they make shure to not put the intermediate and advanced players with the noobs..

the field and staging area are very very well kept.. the field is cleaned every week and the staging area has brooms so you can clean up your mess..

there is a room with a hd tv wifi and a bunch of chairs for parents to be in a quit place while there kid is playing or if a player just wants to get away from the noise and relax..

there are restrooms in the back next to the crono room (but the refs also crono you before you get on the field) but the main crono room is nice and it is too as far as a room made to shoot paint in goes..

thereare a crap load of tables in the staging area and yes it is all air conditioned!!!! there are 5 spots in the fill station, 4 go to 3000 psi and 1 goes to 4500 psi..

the price isnt the best but it has to be like that.. the entry fee is $20 for all day air too, and a case of paint is $55 and its a fpo field cause they have to have there paint specially made for alot of reasons..

all in all this is a great field!!!!!!!!!!!! every one there are nice especially the owner!!!!

GO PLAY THERE NOW OR MISS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

o yeah and they have an awesome pro shop with a huge selection of guns packs pants jerseys goggles you name it..

EDIT: i forgot the Astroturf is fun as crap.. i love that stuff, you can slide a mile on it if you wanted. and eather cleats or turf cleats would work best on it..

Review: I arrived and spoke with Larry the Owner. He was very helpful. He set me up with an Ion rental and told me some of the things I would need to get started in paint ball. He also went over some of the basic rules and regs. (Did not have to watch tape)

The facility was nice. Very nice setup/rest area. The fields were nice and they made sure they separated the noobs from the advanced so you wouldn't get lit up. The Speedball field in the front is huge. The back field is not as big, but has some nice features....see below. The refs were cool and called the match fairly. They also evened out the teams the best they could.

The back field was awesome. It was dark with Fog and laser lights, kinda like a club. They gave us barrel flashlights in red and blue to differentiate the teams. I wound up playing with the advanced in the back, but it was awesome.

I rate this field a 10 because of ease of use and great customer service.

Edit: Update....I have been back to this field several times. Each experience has been pretty consistent. I have gotten to know a lot of the employees there and have gotten much better. The pro shop has been great. They carry all types of guns, clothing and equipment.

Review: so, gatsplat was having a summer league, and I decided, "What the heck, I'll give it a shot. " I've wanted to play at this field quite awhile, and I was glad I got to play at it tonight. So anyways, onto it.

Staging Area/Inside Area

Gatsplat had a very clean staging area. Yeah, there were a few paintballs on the ground, but that really didn't do much. There were a lot of picnic tables, and the proshop was pretty good. It had everything that a paintballer could use. Masks, pants, jerseys, loaders, tanks, harnesses, pretty much everything. There was a snack machine, and a drink vending machine as well, so a player could eat or drink at their will. Overall, very well setup. 10 out of 10.

Pricing

Ok, the summer league costs 100 bucks for eight weeks, including entry, and air. Paint was separate. Paint ran 55 bucks a case for x-ball bronze. Not bad, considering it was an indoor field, though maybe 50 bucks could be a bit better. No worries. On average though, a normal visit would probably cost the typical recballer 70 bucks, but I'm not entirely sure. Pricing gets a 9.5 out of 10.

Employees

They helped everybody set up properly, it all ran smoothly. Very courteous, and timing was excellent. Their refs made sure that nobody was shooting hot, and fair calls were made. Games ran very smoothly, with only a break to re-inflate bunkers and clean them off. The employees at the proshop there helped anybody who needed it, and did well. This category gets a 10 out of 10

Fields

The whole night was on the X-ball field. Very clean field, and the bunkers were set up well. They use artificial turf, and you could probably slide a mile on it. I liked the field a lot. Netting was set up all around the field so players could watch games and plan for the next one. A chrono was also set up at the field to prevent hot shooting. Excellent. They have another field, but I haven't seen it yet, so yeah. Fields get 10 out of 10.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience, and I can't wait to go again next week.

Review: This is an indoor feild and probably one of the best fields ive ever played in. The refs are the coolest nicest refs you could meet and will hang with and help with any broken equipment you may have. A little pricey but still not as pricey as some places. The owner has a very good sense of humor and just playing there makes you want to work for him. There are only two fields that are both air ball but are kept in pristine condition

Review: This is the first indoor field I have ever played at, and lemme tell you it won't be the last time I come. First let's get the bad out of the way so we can concentrate on the good.

There's only 2 fields first off, which are both speedball, which kind of sucks if you're a woods-type person. The refs don't stay inside the net and they don't run to check people which is annoying when you think you've shot someone about 5 times on their white Reloader shell and you never really know if they were hit. It's not the cheapest, but there are a lot more that are more expensive. Main airball field feels a little bit cramped.

Now to the good! Even though the refs are not inside the net, there are enough of them around the outside to keep good eyes on the game. They also have a nice speaker system that allows you for sure to know if you're hit or not. The fields are EXTREMELY clean and well-kept. There's not sludgy old paint all over the bunkers or at the base of them. The turf is very easy to slide on and doesn't require pads IMO. The field paint is X-ball bronze, which is good stuff. Not the most brittle or the thickest fill, but for rec and small tourneys, it breaks well and there are no problems. A small thing I noticed is that there are no vertical support beams. I notice in vids of people playing indoors where they have those, they often block lanes and get in the way, but you don't have to worry about them here (at least not on the front field which is the only one I played). In the staging area, there are plenty of tables and room to put your crap. There are drink machines and *drum roll* a snack machine which is handy. Their pro shop has TONS of stuff. They have NXT shockers, 07 Egos, DM7s, used markers, beginner gear and everything in-between. They also have a good little service table, with knowlegeable people that know how to fix stuff. Ever have anything really expensive stolen? Not here. One of the things I like most about this place is the fact they have an INSANE amount of security cameras. No angle is left out. They have a front door alarm so that their stuff doesn't get jacked too. Their fill station is conveniently located in the middle of the staging area. I don't like that there's only one or two 4500 outlets, but if you only need about 3000 per game, they have a few of those. Parents don't like to ball, but have to stay out there with you? No worries! They have a parent's lounge with satellite TV and wifi in case they need to get work done or just want to watch football or whatever. The white netting on the field is nice because it brightens up the field instead of making it darker which is nice for indoors.

All in all, this is a very well-thought out and well executed idea for a field. I had the best day of paintball I think I ever had in my life at this field. I will definately be back!

P.S. I'm the guy always calling up there about the superman Ego. If I get my shocker sold, it's mine. Thanks for letting me use it the other day!

Review: This field is a good field and pro shop all of the guys that work there are really cool and willing to talk to you and hang out while willing to help you with any thing that you need. the fields are pretty good its hard to explain them except that they are air ball cause they switch them up wich is good cause its always a little different when you go back in there its pretty clean for being an indoor field also the staging area is big enough for everyone so its not overly crowded and also the waiting is kind of nice cause you get rest and clean your stuff and then about five or ten minutes later your ready to go right back and play some more. I'm usualy not a fpo fan but i agree with it here cause it would make the cleaning alot harder.
The only thing i think is a little annoying is that they have only one type of paint which is 55 bucks a box when they might be able to find a white fill but is a lttle cheaper so that way you only have to pay a little less which would make going there a little easier cause it could cost a little less money on my part but other than that its great and I highly recommend going there and playing its alot of fun and they have a little t.v. room for the people who dont play like parents and i also think they have wifi capabilities which is cool to.

Review: Good field, Fair refs, and excellent staff. Downside is you have to use their paint. (The city forced them to use water soluble paint) Two course. The X-Ball field was great fun. Recently they changed the theme of their back field to a Disco theme with smoke and lasers. I dint enjoy the backfield, it was too dark and too small. Other than that it was an all around good field. Its more geared to Rec players than Tournament practice and from what I heard from the owner, That is what they are about.
