Pro advantage was a superb place to play at. The shop, and the staff are very helpful and were more than accomadating when you had a problem or dissagreement with someone.
As an example of how helpful they are: This was my first game back since the end of college(about a year and a half) and I foudn out that my CO2 tanks are out of test, which basically means they cannot legally fill them. They were more than happy to lend me one of the field tanks at no cost.
The field is an indoor speedball field that is well lit. The only person I heard of complaining about visablility was a guy who was wearing tinted goggles.
The ref wasn't as great as I had hoped but they were understaffed for the day (2 people to run the field and the shop) but they managed to organize the players so that there weren't any issues. The Chronoing is pretty much honor system, but if the ref suspected you were going to fast, they would call you over and test you.
The rest area is Really nice, they have lots of room, tables and stools. They provide small towles for wiping and cleaning gear, and vending machines loaded with gatorade and water. The airstations are nicely spaced and very user friendly.
I can't say enough how much fun it was to play there, the cover is well laid out so there are no advantages and the astroturf is soft enough that you don't hurt yourself slideing.

Cons: It's indoor and it was VERY hard to see around. I have good vision but it was very dark.
It only has the one field and its a speedball course. It gets quite repetative playing on the same field for four hours.
Pros: VERY CHEAP!
I couldnt believe the prices. If you own gear its like 7.50 to get and paint is very cheap!
They also allow you to byop if its yellow or white fill. Also their shop is very good! Somewhat cheap and they carry a lot of gear!
Conclusion: Very cheap but somewhat boring. If your going for only a couple hours and its in your area, go for it! But if your planning on going for the day, you might want to try somewhere else. If your looking to buy something, this is a good place to go to. |

We had a really good time at the field. My observations are as follows:
Reception at field: The staff was very friendly and efficient. They processed our party of twelve very quickly (a mix of marker owners and rentals.)
Cost: The cost was very reasonable, particularly if you are an owner (free HPA and CO2 refills). Even the cost of the rentals was decent considering the rentals are Tipman A5s. Buying the paint in boxes of 2000 was the best deal and the paint (even the lower grade balls) was of very good quality. Not a single person in our group had a chopped ball in 3.5 hrs of play.
CO2 and HPA refills: Included in the cost of admission. The HPA is a self-serve station in the players' Administration Area. The refilling of CO2 was done very quickly. No time wasted!
Proshop: Well stocked with markers and parts for markers. A little lacking on the clothing and harness side of things but the prices appeared to be very reasonable.
Refs: There was only one ref on duty. He spent almost all of his time near the exit checking that barrel bags where on when leaving the field. He was a little on the passive side but would run like the wind if you called for a paint check! The ref didn't get involved in organizing teams or games. This was a little awkward at the start because there were a few other players from outside our group that just wanted to play but no one seemed to be in charge. Eventually the players took charge and we had a great afternoon.
Other players: Skill levels varied from first timers to experienced players. The experienced players where intimidating to the new players but the new players quickly figured out that $1000 worth of kit doesn't mean your any better than a new guy who's a quick learner. Most of the experienced players where pretty good about helping out the new guys but one of them needed a little anger management training. He cooled off later but his antics put a bit of chill on things for the younger players. I think his buddies talked to him because he seemed to cool off later on. This was the time when an experienced ref could have stepped in and kept things friendly. It's my experience that the new guys don't go out and intentionally break the rules. If you take a minute and explain the rules in a friendly manner they are usually thankful and don't head home feeling like an idiot.
Facilities:
- Bathrooms: Clean and well maintained.
- Paintball field: Field was great. It is well lit and clean. The artificial turf was well cushioned and no one limped away with bruised knees. The inflatable bunkers were well laid out and the ref squeegeed them off between games. The Chrono was located in a netted area just before the field entrance. The lighting in the Chrono area could be a little better. Checking of the muzzle velocities of the markers appeared to be on the honour system. The guys in our party dialed down our markers to 250 fps. I have my suspicions that some of the other players bypassed the chrono, saved a few balls and didn't bring their speed down when they moved indoors. The Administration Area was clean, well layed out and the lens cleaning station was well stocked. The temperature was just about perfect.
Overall impression: It was a lot of fun to play there. I prefer to play woods ball but an afternoon of speedball every now and then isn't too bad, especially when there's 50cm of snow outside! Our group was a mixed group of dads, teenage boys and some college age guys. We had a great time and I would recommend the field.

This course is great i love woods ball but this place is amazing they swich the cover up every time i go there and on tuesday and thursday its half price night which is very cheap,
the paint is pretty good i dont really care as long as it goes straight my custom pro makes sure theres no breaks, on half price nights it cost me a max of 60 bucks for a load of fun,
the people there are great they make sure they players are happy and will do their best to make your game the best it can be. i am beginning to go there often like maybe one a week and thinking of getting a membership,
The pro shop is awsome if there is anything you want and they dont have it they will order it in for you.
My tank broke there the last time i played and they fixed it up free of charge then let me use one of theres free of charge.
my friend got a ICD Promaster of ebay and the thing was all screwy he was not to pleased but Proadvantage took care of him and in no time he was back in the game,
If i had more money i would go every frieken day i love it, i would recommend this course to any one
this is my favorite course even though its speed ball
but they are planning to put in a course in the rear of their property| Last edited on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 at 12:36 pm PST |

pro advantage is my home filed they have an excellent speedball field that they switch around offten a good pro shop where i bought my A-5 and all my current upgrades. they have good prices and plent y of guns and upgrades for a lot of difffrent things. they can order anything u don't have.
they have good paint cheep about the same you pay 120$ for at bunkers and better than the stuff at rapid fire rapid fire i mean their seconds is 40 somethin for 2000 and i find its more accurate and breaks easier than the other stuff. i've never had a problem gettin my co2 filled. i've never used their rentals but they have A-5s and ions and they all look to be in good condition.
they enforce their safety rules well.
they've tried to get a couple tournaments going and me and my fledling team have wanted to attend but thet've always canceled because not enough teams have registerd.
i 've had nothing but good expirences at pro advantage. one day when they were supposed to have a tournament i learned last minute that it turned out the were simply going to reduce proces for threee man teams . i wnet with my two other friedns who were planing on entering on a tema. we showd up and their was one other team there. four older guys one of them not a player but the tech for the other threes guns or somethin like that. one had an invert mini one had an ego and one rented a ion buit trust me he knew how to use it. me and my buddies were a little intimidated standin their with woodsball modified A-5s. they turned out to be really good guys they taught us a lot and i had a really good day.
all in all pro advantage is my favorite field in the belleville area and i'll give it a ten |

Tis place is pretty good. Theair paintballs price is cheaper than most and the qualtiy of the paint is good. They have zap spank paintballs for around $70.00 per case. The reffs are ok but don't shoot at their bunkers the try out ur gun, because i did it to many times and i almost got kicked for the field for one game. They also have a R/C raceway track and a pro shop. There pro shop is pretty good. but not as big as premium paintball products store. They have A-5 rentals and IONs also for rent. their field is a bit small but is good for 3 man and 5 man. Overall this place is good. But a bad thing aboutr htis plave is that they have no food their. only drinks at a vending machine no food vending machines. Overall i give thsi feild a 8/10 |

I went with a group of 7 people, we played some great 3 vs 4 games. A nice couple joined us and we played some 4 vs 5 games which was good....anymore players on the field would have been too many. The field is kind of small to accommodate anymore than 5 on 5.
The prices are extremely reasonable....
$15 with your own marker
$25 to rent an A-5, googles, and tank
$35 to rent an Ion googles, and tank
$69 for level 3 paint - 2000 rnds
$79 for level 2 paint - 2000 rnds
$89 for level 1 paint - 2000 rnds
- free CO2, and Air...they have two do it yourself air stations with is handy
- they were out of level 3 paint, so they also sold us level 2 paint at level 3 cost
The staff there are extremely friendly, the ref's were very helpful and good on the field as well.
My group was there from 10am until approx 3pm, and we all had a blast...we were a little worse for wear but that comes with the territory. I am not sure why but the balls that day hurt worse then any other time I've played, our guns were shooting at a good velocity, so its either they have balls with thick shells or the close proximity.
The only downfall of the day were a bunch of kids there for a birthday party....mommy and daddy forked out alot of dough on the kid gear (pants, jersey's, etc...) and they were totally disrespectful. They would walk into the staging area and wait for us to leave the field which made it tough to get off. After one of our games they actually came on the field as if to tell us to get the heck off. There was this one little red head kid who's parents obvious haven't taught him a thing, because he would mutter obscenities under his breath as we walked by. At the end of the day we asked if they would play us...some retribution but magically they had no more balls, but they managed to find more when we were packing up though...lol
My overall experience at Pro Advantage was great, the field, barriers, etc....we will definitely be returning at least once a month during the winter season!!

Firstly I'd like to correct some of the falsifications in the review below mine. For starters I'm not sure how the reviewer counted only 13 bunkers, because in each of my trips there have been over 20 bunkers ( par for a 5-man setup) as opposed to his suggested 3 man.
Also I'm not sure how he determined he payed $102 and wtfever for his case of paint, because just before this he has stated the actual paint costs of $69.99 for lvl. 1 rising to $89.99 for lvl. 3, regardless of the grade of paint he chose it's mathematically impossible to pay the amount he suggests even w/ taxes.
Having been there on several occasions I can attest to not only the excellent value for paint at Pro Advantage at only $69.99/case, but also the quality. They are not 3rd's (as is suggested), I believe they use Draxxus White Box for the level 1 paint, which is an excellent field grade paint especially at that price. Next paintball in Pickering uses the same field paint at twice the cost.
Now onto my review...
Field- This field is brand new it opened less than a month ago. All other fields in the immediate area pale by comparison. The field is indoor, well lit (often overlooked in indoor setups), set up for speed ball, approximately (90ft x 60ft), Currently the field has 20+ sup air (or manufacturers equivalent) bunkers( 5 man spec) and they've already changed the layout which is good to see as sometimes shop owner's overlook this and the field becomes stale. The owner's spared no expense, excellent astro turf surface (unsure as to manufacturer, but of excellent quality), self serve Air America fill stations, ample staging area, washrooms / change rooms. Pro Advantage has all the amenities needed I was very impressed.
Cost- Evidentally, Rob & Jamie (the owners) haven't heard of a thing called profit, b/c their prices are excellent. $69.99/ case is unheard of without a membership. I'm accustomed to paying twice this ($130-$170) at neighbouring facilities, for often times what is a lower grade paint than what Pro Adv. is using (Draxxus white box). Also the reasonable field fee of $15.00 includes all day air which is a big plus. They do have a membership incentives as well. They have a couple rental packages both of excellent value I believe an A-5 and a gold option of an Ion.
Staff- In my experience the staff have been excellent, to date I have no complaints. Always courteous, friendly and helpful not to mention a good time.
Safety- Always staff/refs on hand, good chrono station w/250 fps max (very reasonable w/ indoor facility.) For people just getting into the sport there are several Goggles on, barrel bag on signs etc. located conveniently at field entrance/ exit. This things are also heavily stressed by staff as they should be.
Pro Shop- In house pro shop/repair shop (always nice to have). Not the greatest selection on hand but you name it and they'll get it for you in minimal time. Again good pricing.
Overall- An excellent new field, great facility ( second to none between Pickering and Kingston). The only comparable field within a probably 2 hr. drive each way would be Next paintball in Pickering. Good, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, fun staff. Very, very competitive pricing...Definately give this field a try!! |

This field is the best field I have ever played at!
Everyone there is nice and helpful.
The first time I went there the ref gave me and my friend tips on strategy and what we should do. The one field owner, Jamie played with us too to even up the teams. He's also super helpful.
The second time I went there was paintball school on wednesday nights. We were taught how to move with our gun and snap shooting. I learned a tonne tonight. By the end I was doing really well and won my round of a snap shooting. Everyone there gave me tips and was really nice. Since that was my second time out on a real speedball field Jamie and the other owner showed me the ropes. At the end we had a game. Jamie and I stuck in one bunker and he showed me what to do.
I'll be coming back almost every lesson ongoing!
The field is indoor and is always clean with really nice turf. The set up station is great and spacious. It has goggle cleaner, soap/water/ and paper towels and lots of tables and chairs. There's also a self serve air station that's really easy to use.
The prices are amazing! 69$ for a case of paint! At bunkers hideaway it's 120$ per case and that's on a special day and it's also crappier paint. 15$ for people with a gun. 35$ for BYOP but it has to be white or pink fill.
Safety is awesome there there's a net to get into the chrono station and another net past that net to get onto the field. Theres safety signs telling you what you have to do before entering a certain area. i.e "put goggles on"
Refs are really good at calling everything and one of the owners took apart my empire b to see what was wrong with it free of charge. There's a pop/water machine right in the set up area and the bathrooms are easily accessible. They also have a pro shop right on site with a whole variety of gear in it (with really good prices). They also have a r/c racing course in another section of the building. But why race when you can paintball? The hours are great there too open everyday I'm pretty sure. Next summer they said that they are putting another field in the back of the lot.
All in all this must be the best place to paintball around where I live.
Everyone there is really nice and helpfull, I can't tell you that enough, all other fields they don't give a hoot about you like this field.
I would give this field 25 out of 10 but I can't.
GO THERE! |
