This field was a pleasant surprise. I watched some videos on youtube before going and was under the impression it was gonna be some tiny warehouse, to my surprise they had a very nice setup, a large pro-shop with concession area, and A/C. The games went at a very efficient rate for a single-playing field design, Id estimate about 5 minutes between games. On a Thursday night there were about 40-50 players, most of whom were good ballers who played with ethic, there were a couple wipers, but when is'nt there? as far as the field is concerned its sick, I was concerned about the support pillars being in the way, however the super 7 field was set-up perfectly to steer away from any such problems. The field's surface is obviously turf, it feels thick & supportive, and is absolutely perfect for NPPL practices. Overall Id say this field has it all for a serious baller, the field is free of rocks and dirt, it was pouring last night and I was playing ball, and above all its open almost every day and LATE :) Yesterday was my first day there, Ill be going again tonight and Ill be gradually shifting my habit over there...
Note: I would give the field a 9 for not having more than 1 playing field, but I cant get myself to do it, I mean, when I go ball I dont say Im going to the fields, I say Im going to The Field, and this place was definately THE FIELD from what I saw last night |

refs: the refs were very helpful. they are nice and always catch people cheating.
safety: the safety is good, you can get a chest protecter and a nice helmet for a good price.
field: the field is nice and clean. Sure, there were a couple of paintballs here and there, but nothing to bad.
staff: the staff is very helpful. They can easily fix your gun for a cheap price. They fixed my gun and i only had to pay 10 bucks for it.
I gave it a nine because the metal things on the floor (only little strips) are slippery. |

I have been playing paintball for quite a while and have been through my share of amazing and horrible fields. If I didn't go to Medley due to my team, I would be going here every week just like I used to. I personally believe this is one of the best indoor fields in Florida. Enough of me, on to the review:
Field - Great set up, really like how they switch it up often. The turf is quite slippery but there is nothing to complain about, very playable and doesn't hurt when you slide, i've dove more than 10 times and haven't had a problem with the turf.
Safety - Everything about the field on safety is just like every field. Refs watch over everyone making sure everyones following the rules. Unfortunatly I have heard (and 1 of the times i've witnessed personally) lights fall down. Thats a real issue that they should look into, other than that A+.
Prices - Fair prices, I am able to play there every week so nothing wrong with the price.
Paint - Not bad at all, i've had my share of pops but nothing to complain about, great paint overall especially for the price.
Proshop - The prices are fair as well. Nothing way too expensive especially when something breaks or you need something to play asap. Great in my book.
Refs - This is problably the main reason why I gave this field a 9. I've had tons of problems with the refs. Nothing current but especially in the past. I've had the ref's talk junk about me and my teamates when we haden't even played 1 game which was really sad to hear. At the time, they were of no help nor did they even pay attention to us. They were there to just get money and go home. Now a days those ref's aren't there anymore and it is under new management. I have met and spoke with the new manager and he is extremely nice compared to the old one. I believe they currently only have 2 or less refs and there cool so I give a A+ to these guys and the new manager.
Players - Not might be the best crowd to be with skill wise but usually theres a friendly atmosphere. Can't really say too much more on this topic but I've never really had a problem with walk-ons.
Facility - In the past, back when there were the horrible refs and lazy manager, the field was a complete disaster. They did not pick up the paint throughout the whole week nor did they clean the field, they just left it there. Now a days the fields are looking great! The indoor section is great and amazing to cool down in after a game.
Food - Just like most fields, they sell hot dogs, pizza, chips and much more. Prices are very fair and nothing too costy.
Conclusion - 9, great overall, nothing to complain about in really, plan on going this weekend as a matter of fact lol.

Indoor paintball in Miami, at first i was very skeptical. I walked in and it looked pretty nice, the new manager was pretty cool as well so I figured ok lets try it out. Myself, a former d3 player, i saw the field and was decently impressed. Good set up of the bunkers, the only thing I do not like is the corners are somewhat hard to play. Everyone complains about the turf and how hard it is, but I layed out more than a few time and it didnt hurt at all. I think some people just need to suck it up and play, but yes it is a little slippery. Anyway, when we were there, a d2 team OUTKAST was practicing, I expected them to take over and not let us play. This WAS NOT the case as we formed a good rotation of games. I appreciate things like that, and had a great time. Food is there, refs present, prices very good an all around great experience! I'm giving it an 9 only because of the slippery field conditions. |

The place is still as terrible as it was before.
The pros are:
They sell hotdogs and soda.
It is under new management, but what the heck does that matter when you have all these...
Cons:
Super dark, you can barely see down the other side of the field.
The floors is HARD and SLIPPERY! The great thing about this is when you slip (which is often) it hurts.
The "turf" is rough and damages your jersey.
The field is not a rectangle, one side is uneven, so one of the bunkers (back left) is right by this huge bay door with netting. This is great because you get two benefits: one is that the sun is shining so bright in your face that you are blinded and two is that you get hit by balls that are bouncing off the netting that is about two feet from you because the wall slants in. It is more like a rectangle that they cut a corner off. AND better than that, you can barely see down your wire.
I give it a 2 because of the hotdogs and soda. Otherwise it would have been a 1.

I have never play in this field before, RNT is the only one but when I knew of this field I had to check it out. When I call the number listed in the page it said “you have call corporate” but don’t worried they owned other business so their main phone is the one in their biggest warehouse which is not far from the field, why I said this because I went my self to check it out and called the number a guy answer me and told me that they are closed and they open at 5:30pm I was there at 4:45pm, I said I’m in front of the field, the men told if I wait for 5 minutes he will open the field for me , I told him that I only wanted to see he said no worries I will be there. So he came and I was in (the field all for my self) so I look around first thing I see CLEAN is the priority for this field the down side of this is that they only have one field but it is big and the bunkers are tournament, they also have a small pro-shop but they are getting better at it. Ok how about prices they have two thing, 1- you become a member with them and you pay 30 dollars for the fist time and the case of paintball is 38 for members, air is free all day not like RNT that you have to wear a bandana with only five refill beg your marker is not that efficient or you will have to pay another 15 dollars to get 5 more refills. Anyways if you don’t want to be a member you will have to pay 42 for the case and 25 for the entry so make up your mind at the end is a good field for those that cannot make it the morning so now you have a field open after dark.
I give it 9 because they only have one field but it’s nice |

Masterzone is alot better from when i started.
The staff and the refs. are really nice people including the new manager.
They help you out with any guns problems and with anyhting you need to buy for a better paintball experience.
The manager is a great guy and really knows what he is talking about and really gets involved with the people and his staff.
The staff are always trying to change the field layout and making games evenly match.
The refs do use tournment rules, so don't try to cheat or work your off a rule ecause they will catch you.
The field itself is really good for a indoor field in Miami. They are lacking bunkers but if they had the right bunkers I believe the field will be one of the best feilds in FL. The heat gets a bit in there but the place has nice cooling fans. The field is a bit slippery but what do you expect real grass. For it is, it at least isn't really hard floor. With a new field and a bit more lighting. This place is the place to play paintball. And i think with this new management, change will be in order.
The prices are really good. Especially if you get a membership and paint is really cheap. They have an awesome food stand and the pro shop is really cheap and compares prices with anywhere if you show them.
The only thing i really don't like is the Zone Rebels, their sponsor team. They are always fighting with themselves. Maybe with a new team the place will most surely be packed with tons of people.
Of course this is my opinion of the field. |

Ok to start off with
Cons
-Its dark as hell. Experienced users of that field wear blue or black to blend in with the bunkers. Very poor lighting. During the nite time its not to bad cuz they turn on big lights.
During the day its like your shooting blind.
-Refs wait ref, doesnt do anything, hes actually in playing with you, go ahead and wipe away, no one will catch you.
-Field is trash. Paint everywhere. Slippery. Some bunkers where on the ground practically they were so defliated.
Wear some cleats.
-Bad field layout. People fight for entrance side of the field, its alot easier to control the game.
Pros
-Cheap, best prices in miami. Alot cheaper than RNT, 15 for entrance (once a member) and 15 for 1500 rounds. Total of around 30 bucks. FIrst time use is 25 for just play and 30 for paint or 30 for membership and 30 for 1500. Great deals. All of these include all day air. *
-Management is real helpful and aprochable. *
-Not to crowded
Overall
I wont be coming back, its to dark. Refs dont care, people always fighting for side of field, bunch of kids that know each other that team up and slaughter you + the ref is playing with them. They need to clean up the field, light it up and get more than 1 ref and redo the layout.
* Gave it a 4 because of the prices and friendly staff.
But we do go play paintball not talk and just buy things. |

This facility is finally the place to be. The old gizer that use to run the place is no longer around. Young blood is running it and they are offering great deals. I bought a marker for 10% less than the best internet price. Friday nights is great, music , pop corn, pizza and great competition. Masterzone Indoor paintball is the place to be........ |
