Wildcat is a very good park to play at, the people there are very friendly and helpful. Wildcat has a variety of fields to choose from and they just got two more build. They just got there new airball field up with fresh grass with a huge X in the middle. They also have just build a new D-Day field with a huge bunker and actual landing craft! with a working drawbridge. They also are getting ready to rebuild GHOST TOWN!!!! into a whole new field with actaul buildings.
Yes some of wildcats fields are a bit old and worn down but they are sure fixing them up and making new ones.

OMG!!! Like these guys weren't cool enough already. Now they have an indoor too. Same great play and great people, only now climate controlled. Indoor and outdoor the best of both worlds. i will never go anywhere else.

i grew up playing on this field back when fully automatic markers were aloud in tournaments and on normal fields. my first time playing ever was on there airplane field with one of there spyder compacts. after playng here for the first time i was hooked for life and im not stopping. these people are the nicest around and they will do there best to make sure that ur expierience is great. They have 7 fields, airplane, jungle, ghost town, caste field, the old speedball field, tournament field and there new air ball field. all these fields are great i enjoy playing on everyone of them. great field come visit some time you will have a great time. haha i was here 4 hours ago :) |

Well back a few years we used to play here .. then we dropped paintball for a year and when i picked it back up i played at the colluseum ... so when i came back i was surprised to see that wildcat had gotten an airball field .. which was news to me. they also renovated all of the set up area and now they have nets so you can watch games without masks or the chance of being hit
The prices i think are a GREAT step up over the colluseum .. ill compare
Wildcat .. 15$ entry fee (with air) and 45$ a case
Colluseum ... 5$ entry fee (with air) and 55$ a case
with the way markers shoot these days .. if you want to play for an entire day .. chances are your going to pay for more than one case ... plus wildcat gives you Diablo Midnight .. where as colluseum gives you crappy heat
overall i like the colluseum better ... just because its indoor and its fields are better ... but wildcat has some of the nicest people around ... my halo was low on batteries and i got 6 AA batteries for free even after i offered to pay for them .. also a man there offered to spot my friend and I a case of paint if we wanted to play the rest of the day

i recently played at this field for the first and possibly last time ine tournament reason for possibly never playin at this place will be listed below
1st--The field does look decdent but it is solid dirt and not good for sliding and there is one big rut one one side also
2nd-I played at what was supposed to be a beginner tournament and after the captians meeting a team showed up and was allowed to join but ok more competion well to find out these kids were playing tournaments that the refs have played in and the head refs says it ok. Thes kids wer loaded 2 Karni's and 1 Proto Matrix full sponsorshop by evil and they still get to play.
3rd I attempted a dead man walking here is what i did stood up and walked out of my bunker never raising a hand and one ref says im out and i shake my head at him and he says o ok your back in well after walking within 20 feet of a kid and shooting him twice the head ref calls me out and says no daead man walking. As soon as he gets done with that a diferent ref asks him if he wet over it in the captians meeting and he say no everyone should know that and ITS A BRGINNER TOURNAMENT GO OVER SOME RULES BEFORE THE TOURNY STARTS So in the end i get called out and the other guys gets put back in
4th onne guys was ramping and the refs knew it but didn't do anything but they try to make my brother seem like his gun is bouncing
5th After one of my teammate got over shot exsively which happens often there a ref told him good thats what you get for dead man walking

This was my first time playing and I had a blast. The staff was big on safety and promoted having a good time. Big variety of fields. The other players were the best part of the day. Everyone was helpful and having a good time. They were quick to help you out with pointers and strategy. I'm from St. Louis, so it's a little bit of a drive, but i definately would recommend it. The only downside to the field is they don't have a shop. I went there wanting to buy a barrel and double-trigger for my 98 and was disappointed. Oh well, great field overall. |

I've been playing paintball for years. I've played tournaments back in the day and still like all types of play. There are alot of good fields in the area so I feel pretty lucky, but for my money or should I say lack of, this is the best field around, not only do they carry a good selection of paintballs, (RPS premium and stinger but the also carry draxxus) but if you don't shoot those well through your gun that's fine THEY LET YOU BRING YOUR OWN WITHOUT CHARGING YOU FOR IT. WOW that's a rarity around here. The owners are there every weekend and I've been the recipient and seen them hand out their personal equipment to players so that they can have a better time. They also do little things like GIVE you tank o-rings when yours go bad. These guys like they're players, you can tell. They called me when I hadn't been out in a while for surgery just to see how I was doing. They're fields are not your run of the mill buy it type fields , they actually put some thought in to them. I know that they are putting in one of those sup-air fields for the next generation of players but they also have something besides a couple of speed ball fields to offer. The rentals are spyders-which everyone should carry as a back up gun. I've been playing there and elsewhere for years. Trust me there is less wiping, crying, cheating than any of the other fields in the area. The owners won't allow it, I've seen them ask cheaters and the sort to leave and not come back. They even kicked me out for the day for letting my temper get the best of me and I consider myself a regular there. After reading some of the other comments I think there might be a few people who either got kicked out for cheating or just is really lacking in there game(like most people who whine about wipers) or just want to defame this park. Spend some time really playing paintball go out of state, play tournaments play other fields but if your close and you don't call this field home in my opinion---that's a mistake. |

wildcat park is a great place for rec ball. they have 5 or so wood fields and 1 speedball field and a tourny field. all the fields are well laid out with the right amount of bunkers for cover,etc. The refs are ok and there is also food at the park. They have a new format of a scenario/big game once a month now which is also tons of fun. they have a good mix of new player & expericenced and the refs always makes sure to divide up the teams correctly so the newbies don't get killed. all in all it ranks right up there with the other local outdoor fields (extreme, wacky). Its a great place for beginners.
If you want tourny type playing with folks shooting you up one side and down the other - well that is not THIS field. |

well first off its good for ppl who like woods ball cuz the fields are gimungus!!!!!!!!!!!! u cant find another person worth a crap in thos fields. There is only one ref per game so there is a lot of wiping and cheating. So that really sucks. teh hours arent very good with 12 till 4 and u can only play one day a week cuz saturday is for airsoft. I mean if u cant drive anywhere farther thatn that area i would suggest this place but otherwise i would choos xtreme paintball park in milstadt or te colloseum in woodriver. Theres better fields nicer people and more refs at those places. |

ok well it is a good field for ppl in the area that are not use to big name fields. im not suposed to bad mouth the field so ill try to be nice............................um the refs are ok most of the time but there is only 1 for a game of 30 ppl so there will be wipping from those pesky players. so if that happens run up to the person and unload in his face that will teach him. i guess u could complain but that dose no good. the speedball corse hurtsd to play in due to the large solid bunkers that u hhit . overall i give it a 5 out of 10 . it good if u like woods ball or if u just started playing and have no clue what a good field is. personaly i like the friends only game where u can rag on the ppl u shoot! WOW that was a big review!! |
