-Bathroom: There are two bathrooms. One for the men, and then there is a coed bathroom. (There's laws about having a girls bathroom, but only a few come so its mostly coed)
-The Layout:
Staging Area: right when you walk in there's the field to your right and the huge staging area in front of you. imagine many tables for all your gear, chairs, and garbage's for the empty paint bags and boxes.
Field: APE indoor: uses official NXL bunkers, and they switch up there field every week (i think) . Which means its always something new. iv been there a few times, (about once a month) and it changes every week. The floor gets very sloppy, theres nothing they can do about it. Theres always going to be an extra amount of paint on the floor. Theres alot along the sides
-Safety: Safety is pretty good, i was walking off and my barrel condom came off my reg and fell. instantly someone said hey bud ya dropped that, and i got it back on before endangering anyone. they also always have a little pregame chat about all the rules and everything.
-The Staff: The staff at APE indoor is good. Its run by two guys, Alex and Tony. Both good guys who love the sport and will do what it takes to better it. Which is always good. There's some staff members who are nice guys who do what it takes to help ya out. Then there was 1 or 2 who were a little "im to good for you" type. im not a big fan of them but over all the staff was pretty good.
-Parking: Lots and lots of parking behind the building.
-Prices: Prices were good, 60 a case. paint shoot alright. no paint is perfect though.
Overall: Great field. If there was a way to clean up the floor, then it could get better. Plus its a bit cold in there someimes. |

Field: This is one of the best fields in the area it has a full NXL field although they don't use all of the bunkers. They have a large staging area that is well lit. Also has a small pro shop that has almost all the little things that you may need. Field is a little slick from all the paint thats been shot. But the field is always cleaned and seems to have the shell blown off.
Staff: The staff is Great when they arnt busy which they seem to almost always be. They seem to know what they are talking about and when they and don't mind to talk paintball with you while you wait for a game and they arnt busy. Some times short staffed behind the counters but what can ya do about it?
Refs: The head ref knows what hes doing. Hes very nice and helps keep the games going. Some of the other refs seem to be a bit more lazy but ref well. While most the refs are cleaning bunkers inbetween games. Which I like because it keeps the field looking clean.
over all the refs are pretty good.
Hours: The hours are pretty good wish sundays were longer but the paint seems to run out by the end of the day anyways. Saturdays they are open pretty much all day and they also run leagues on sats. I like how they keep the games rotating and flowing. They have time blocks so we dont have to stand around waiting for to many teams to rotate in and out. So they will sell time blocks to teams so they can practice by themselves. Which i think is really nice.
Prices: 15 admission and 60 a case isnt to bad. Ive seen alot worse. But could be better.
Over all I give it a 9 out 0f 10 because they could do somethings to make it better. |

GOOD:
Paint Price was great. We got a discount for our group.
Field was great. Faster than I expected.
BAD:
Refs.... They couldn't make a good call if the play was 6 inches from there face. People were being lit up like a x-mas tree and these clowns aloud them to play on. When a guy is goggled 3 times in one game there is a problem with that. They never explained the rules of the field so people were being pulled off the brake.
I'm giving the place a 5 because it was big, great deals, and a descent setup. The refs on the other hand, all I can say is if we meet again I'm shooting you. APE find a better reffing crew PLEASE. |
