Review: This is an all around amazing place. Roy Hatch is by far one of the coolest guys there is in paintball. The people are great all the refs are cool. I think this may be the best in Alabama. It is also amazing of the variety of courses there is to play at PBQ. There is wooded, airball, and plenty more. My favorite by far is AIRBALL. They do an amzing job hosting tournaments and always have an amazing croud; even with walkonz..

THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!!!

Review: I'm back again to say what a great place this is. I've played all over the state and this is still the best field in Alabama. Safest place to play, best refs, best staff. They always have lots of players there. They have lots of fields and variety. I get bored with the briefing each time you play part but understand why they do it (some people just don't listen). They make everything so easy and its load of fun. I recommend it to anybody of any skill level.

Review: I've played at this place over the years about 3 times a year. Each time I swear that I'm not going back. As far as the fields go, they are good. A good variety and well layed out.

But what I saw this weekend will keep me from ever going back again. A birthday party of young boys was in the rusted trailer ("office") and they were signing in. When one boy handed his waiver to the witch behind the counter, she stated in the coldest way possible "YOUR TOO YOUNG AND CAN'T PLAY HERE, INSURANCE WON'T ALLOW IT"

And that was it. You should have seen the kids face. All his other buddies are getting to play and here is this complete cancer of a woman telling him he can't play without an ounce of empathy for him. Does a 9-year old kid understand that an insurance company won't allow it? Maybe, but it could have been done with some tact. This lady is a waste of space and its unfortunate to have someone like that dealing with children.

After a couple minutes of watching the poor boy see his other friends get to play, the witch says in another unfeeling manner "HE CAN GO TO THE TARGET RANGE". As unorganized as this place is, I doubt they told this father what the age limit is. I don't know the father or the group, but the look on his face was of surprise.

We asked some of the referees of the place and even they were like "ya, I know, she's a (insert word that rhymes with witch)". This place used to be the only decent field to go to, but not anymore. I urge you check out the other fields in Alabama way before giving your money to these extremely rude people.

Consider yourself warned.

Review: I played at quest for the last scenario game of the year. Good refs and nice setup. Paint was at a decent price and the staff was able to answer any questions. I would recommend this field to both woods and speedball players. no e-grips or rt triggers were allowed, so the playing field was pretty even as far as markers go. I never had any paint break in the rental gun i was using, but the guns accuracy wasnt all that great. besides that, i had an awesome time and enjoyed 6 straight hours of duckin' and dodgin'.

Review: Paintball Quest is in my oppinian the best feild around. its got 14 playing felids ranging from a small airball feild to a massive 5 acer wooded with a fort in the center. one thing the really stress there is saftey, although it gets annoying at times its probly worth it. If you a first timer or an experianced player youll have a lot of fun at paintball quest

Review: This was my "Hoglomaniac's" first time at Paintball Quest and it was by far the best run field I've been to. Me and another of my teammates "Smoothboar" did pretty good here. We didn't know their fields well but we quickly adapted. The first game we played was in "Fort Apache". It was a great woodsball course. The best game I played there was at "Bunkertown". Me and "Smoothboar" moved up the field with ease firing and moving from bunker to bunker. We totally destroyed the opposing team. It was a great day of game play but it was also an unfortunate day for me. I was plagued by malfunction. First of all my valve o-ring started leaking but I was able to flip it and it seemed fine. Then my A-5 e-grip screwed up but fortunately I had just aquired a backup e-grip from another teammate of mine so I wasn't dead in the water. I changed the grip in time for another game but thanks to some cheap walmart paintballs I had a mess in my gun that kept me from even starting that game. No more walmart paintballs for me. But I had fun and I am planning on participating in their scenario game on June 25th '06. With any luck I won't have any problems again because I'm not using walmart paint and I just ordered ten valve o-rings. I hope I can get more than one of my teammates from the "SweatHogs" to join me in this scenario game in June.

Review: I have played at a bunch of fields in Illinois, Missouri and Kansas and this was my first Southern field and the first field that my son played at. It was a great experience with safety in mind with about 50 walkonz playing during 10 am to 4 pm. Due to the number of groups there (a church group and a birthday party) the ref pool was streched thin with four not showing up for the day. The rules, prices, proshop, staff, and refs were better than average. The players were great. Every level and type of player with good sportsmanship was there. Facilities were great, clean and kept up. The bunker field stunk because someone knocked down the Fifty yard bunker which hampered the play on that side of the field. Taking a vote at the begining of each round to determine what field we wanted to play was great, majority ruled and it was great to have so many fields to choose from, something I haven't had at any field that I have played on in the last 20 years. I must live a sheltered life.

Review: Not much needed to say about this feild. It was a great feild. Quest is a good drive for me but worth it for the great day of play.
The refs, store, establishment, owners, staff, workers... all of these people are great men/ women. I had no problems signing up the first time, prices are great staff is very expierenced with all types of markers. They get somewhere above 40 people a day and have the ref power to control it. Pleanty of feilds from woods, airball and speedball. The airball feild is very professional, very well maintained. The hyperball was also very nice and well planed. Didnt play the woods but lots of people talked about. Feild has 4500psi fills, big plus. Lots of experienced and new players to meet anyones enjoyment. Everything about the feild was great, if I have to complain about somthing it would be the paint isnt free, and would be great to get one or two more airball feilds but with the cost of bunkers.

Review: Ok, so I got my tippmann for christmas and have been to paintball quest 5 times now. so I am going to tell you my impression of the field.

The good:
Easy to be a first timer at this field, i noticed all levels of playing experience every time i've been there.
its a BYOP, but has a pretty good selection of paint, and air.
The owner and his wife seemed nice
Pretty good reffing ........usually (see below)
nice feilds both woods and speed
Good place to just be a "Walkon"

The bad:
The scenario that i recently attended was complete crap, little to no organization
During that scenario, reffing slowly diminished as the refs got bored, i even got shot point black after a ref wouldn't paint check a guy.
They have a really nice airball field............that they dont let us play on. I think it is for the local team to practice on, but sometimes, they aren't there and we still cant play on it.

In conclusion: Quest is very noob frieindly and i will enjoy playing there in the future, however i definitly do not plan to attend their scenarios until they take it up a few levels,
Roy, if i might make a suggestion, try and get your best refs for the scenario's, not the only ones who are willing to do it.
My rating of the Quest : 10 out of 10 on normal day , 3 out of 10 for scenario play.

Review: My expectation for this field was high, verry high. All the people i talked to said it was a good field. So I went to an A.C.E.S. tourney there not to long ago with a pretty strong team. The staff, and pleyers where great. But, we were playing on the "water jug" field and my front man got shot in the snake. He jogged to the deadbox and said he was out one to many times. the owner had bean watching the game and when we went to sign the papers he penalised us for saying that. We missed the finals by a few points. But hey No Hard Feelings it is all about FUN!

All in all I had a good time.

Keep it SHINEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
