This was an excellent field, went as part of a big group and they really hooked us up witha sweet deal. The staff was friendly and awesome. The fields are nice, pretty sweet set up. Definitly recommend this field for anyone who wants to go out and play speed ball. It was a great time. The refs were cool and good about checking everyone, they are good on safety, and will let groups do what they want to pretty much. |

There are few fields that are too close to Do, although the Flying Dutchman is some 60-70 miles north, and there is one pipes course in Bar Harbor at a funpark. Do Paintball is pure speedball, no woods or scenario courses, but the reffing was better and the paint costs were far more reasonable than any other Maine field I've played at so far. (And I've hit most of them) |

I suggest visiting their website for accurate directions, I was riding in the back of a van full of paintballers and therefore couldn't hear or see too much. |

First of all, safety was fantastic here. Players were always under supervision of multiple refs, (something uncommon for Maine courses), strict barrel bag/plug rules were in action, and officials worked hard to make sure masks were ON before players stepped onto the field. Nets were completely enveloping all areas of play and I the field was relatively free of rocks and roots, and other things of the ankle breaking nature.
Only two fields were operating on the day we played, but both were accessible and fun to play on. It is a typical Maine spring, so there was a good bit of mud on one field, especially near the back bunkers, but any paintballer who can't play in a little bit of mud isn't a real player to begin with! We went on the field with up to 14 players at a time doing 7 on 7 elimination, and during these the smaller of the two fields became very cramped, but 3 on 3 on that field was awesome. The larger of the two fields could hold 7 on 7 matches with plenty of manuevering room, so you should size your group by numbers and play on the according field.
Hours of operation were very conveniant, we arrived early in the morning and played until 4 or 5 in the afternoon, and the field was still open and taking on more players when we left. Can't complain there!
Prices, rules, and refs were where this field really stood out. We brought a large group from a University, and therefore were ready to purchase a large amount of paint. The management hooked us up with a great deal on bulk ammo, and they weren't one of those fields that scalps you on C02 refills either. The refs were really great while we played, and really earned my respect. First of all, they posted up to 4 on the field for each game, and they were really quick to make calls, do multiple paintchecks, and dive into situations where they sometimes took hits in order to do their jobs. They made for a very fair and safe day, kudos guys. The rules were set up in mind to be fair to new players, i.e no bunkering or the like when we got there, but the management made it clear that as long as the group agreed on changes then we could alter bunkering rules once players became acclamated. In closing, the facilities were good, and I'm pretty sure you can get hot dogs and soda there, (I was too busy blasting away to really notice) and the entire staff was very proffesional. This is a great field to play on, especialy if you're a speedball aficionado. |

It is a ok field is has 3 different fields you can play on..2 of them are plywood bunkers one is hay. Its all mud and one field has grass. Pretty cheap and great service i reccomend everyone to go to it.This field is maintained nice decent plays. The saftey is enforced well. It goes from 9 till dark which is plenty of time to play. It will be open all winter. They give free drinks like soda and water. The prices are really cheap. The staff is nice and even plays when not enough people are there. The rules are very fair and they have a close eye on cheaters! I give this field a thumbs up. |
