Our team 299fps.com played there a couple of times when 24hourgames.com produced events.
It's got just about all kinds of terrains. Large battlfield, deep woods, hills, creek, and a Mobile home for CQB. The field got lotsa potential to be better. The cow crap is the major issue. No speedball field.| Last edited on Monday, September 14th, 2009 at 8:30 pm PST |

| Review: |
My old team Public Enemy was based at this field last year for a few months before we switched to Athens Paintball (which is now mainly airsoft) We were playing in the GFOA series 2008 D5. It was the closest field to all of us and was fairly new at the time we started playing there. GFOA is a speedball series so in ways would make sense for us as a team to practice on a speedball field, which Battle Zone does not offer. We were told for the few months we were there that a speedball field was going to be built so our team and others could play speedball, airball, xball what ever you want to call it. The owners of the field did make a slight attempt to build a field but it failed miserably. BUT, we did receive a small sponsorship for reffing woodsball which is the only reason we stayed for any period of time.
Now, for the actual review.
Safety- Some haggard netting, and inexperienced reffing now that my former team is no longer there to reff the woodsball/scenerio games. The last time my team reffed an event there we showed up 30 minutes late and the game had started. Players were walking out of the woods with their masks off and barrels pointed in all directions with no one in site to tell them otherwise.
Fields- Speedball = none Woodsball = I will give them a thumbs up on the woods fields. OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT THIS PLACE IS IN THE MIDDLE/PART OF A COW PASTURE. WATCH OUT FOR COW PATTIES WHERE EVER YOU GO AROUND THE ENTIRE FACILITY. You have been warned! Despite the FACT that there is and ever increasing amount of cow droppings strategically placed on the woods coarse it is a well built combat based field big enough for 24 hour games and can be cut in half for small games. Lots of forts, bunkers, kill boxes, ditches, there is an old mobile home for CQB, you name it and its out there. Woodsball field is surely a 8 or 9.
Hours- Cant remember exactly open Sat and Sun I believe.
Pricing- Paint prices may vary from $35 a case to $60 I cant be exact because I havent been there in quite some time. Air/field fee is not the worst price from what I can remember. When I was there a certified gun tech was not available so if they charge you to fix your gun I would disagree.
Rules- Im guessing any rules would be stated in your waver. I think the field is still BYOP also.
Services- ?
Proshop- The last time we were there the shop was woodsball oriented. So if your not looking for a Tippmann, try looking online.
Staff?reffing- I think the owner and thats it. No refs I guess. If there are any there, they are field regulars that are most likely not skilled in how to correctly referee a paintball field.
Players- Woodsball/Scenerio. The last event I attended a player was supposedly hit by another hit player, as he was walking back to the start box he shot me in the chest and said "wake up ref" I asked to owner to have him removed from the field...I am assuming you all know the answer I was given.
I really do believe that concludes my review of this place. This field could have been made into something but with the knowledge of the people masterminding its construction, I must say I cant believe it is still open. All in all though, if you are into woods play I would recommend stopping by to look at least. Watch out for the cow mines. - Thanks for reading, Hope I am able to answer some questions.
