First of all please don't blame me if the date that I played is incorrect as I do not remember dates well and it was a while ago. That issue aside, lets get to the review.
This field is a small, outdoor speedball field with paintball netting surrounding the entire field, including the top of it. The floor is dirt covered over with woodchips. The field's bunkers are mostly airball bunkers with a few hard plastic barrels also. And for those people who just want to fire a paintball gun rather than play (not me, but anyway...) they also have a small target range.
Some things to know:
-Open almost anytime of day during summer, late spring, and early fall.
-You can bring your own gun or rent one of theirs (tippmann 98 customs, all stock)
-If you bring your own gun, You MUST USE COMPRESSED AIR. They do not allow the use of CO2, unless you are using 12 grams( and you must pick up your spent 12 grams). If you do not have a Compressed Air/Nitrogen tank, you can rent one from them for $5.00. So make sure your gun can run on either compressed air, or bring some 12 grams and a changer!
-You must use only their paint. This was PMI/RPS premiums, which work just fine for me. Although they are a little spendy but not terrible, as 500 rounds will cost you $17, or $60 for a case.
-They did have a ref there to watch over every game that I played. The ref was good, no complaints here.
-The floor is basicly woodchips. Just some advice: If it rains, don't go till the next day or two, unless you don't mind playing in wet woodchips, standing water, and mud puddles.
Overall it is a decent field, although I would prefer Plains Paintball over Singing hills paintball anyday. I gave it a 6 because you have to use their paint and because they do not allow the use if bulk CO2 tanks. Becasue they do not allow the use of bulk CO2, my friend was not able to use his shoebox shocker, which is his only marker and it only runs on CO2. |
