Ive played at a field in Ballbuster in Columbia, SC and a place called Painted Woods also in SC. Mr. EZ's field in comparison is a bit better. The people are closer together and you feel a sense of the community there. Ive played a few tourneys there and ive never left unhappy.
Review:
Even though Backyard paintball is a little out of the way for me, i always enjoy playing there when i get the chance. The prices are fair and Mr. EZ is always accessible to the players. The man himself is a friendly person. I have nothing but respect for the people who run and maintain this field and the refs who do there jobs well there.
The guy that runs the fields is a great guy. It was my first time there and he was always accessible. The reffing was good, despite me tagging the ref, my bad...Great group of players the day I was there, everyone was very friendly. Only got to play the speedball course so can't comment on the woodsball course. The speedball course was decent, and fun to play. I went mainly because my son just turned 10 and wanted to play ,"I've been out of the sport for about a year now", and he was still a bit gun shy. After I told Ez that he didn't really want to play without me out there, he let me play with my son, for no charge, and I thought that was really cool. He didn't have to do that.
Also, I asked about some profilers, didn't expect them to be there the day after I asked,"money issues", but there they were. Me and my son had a great time and will be back.....
