Safety: Safety is awesome, and the refs pay attention to EVERYTHING of the field. They check for barrel socks and masks inside the field. The nets to protect the spectators from stray paintballs are in great condition, and the fields are constantly cleaned of paintballs.
Fields: Both are small fields, but it's good for the refs to watch for foul play and paint check (basically do their job), unlike the Hotshots people.
Hours of Operation: It's pretty good, although at Hotshots they only close 'till the last person leaves, while Spent closes the X-ball field at 5.
Rules: pretty straightforward. the refs enforce them well.
Service: decent, basic food is provided (chips etc), and like said, refs are good.
Players: the players are alright. the pros allow the beginners to play with them and don't light them up.
Facilities: the bathroom leaves to be desired, since there's no Boys/Girls separate restrooms, but it does the trick for me. sink, soap, and toilet is all i need to clean up and do what nature calls for.
definently the best field I`ve ever played at. The one thing I liked the most were the refs, they were on top of everything, this one ref by the name of Thomas made sure everyone had their barrel socks on at all times and their masks too. Also the fields were amazing, the X-ball field was really nice, it has actual tournament level turf, and the refs again were on top of everything, they would clean the feild really good and during a game they would even run over and slide or dive to get to you just to help. They have very good prices: 15$ feild fee, 15$ Five-HUNDRED paintballs, 49.95$ for TWO-THOUSAND paintballs, 35$ for the rental package which comes with a mask, a BT-4(gun), a chest protector, a pod pack and even five-hundred paintballs, thats a good deal. Spent also has a scenario field for the people who like the realism and woodsball, which is very nice aswell. Theres also a fully stocked proshop with alot of good guns and prices. Finally the people that play there are very friendly especially Thomas and the old man named Alvin, they also know alot, its very good for the beginners, kids, and the hardcore players. 10/10 you couldnt pay me to play anywere else
95 to Forest Hill West. Congress North. Field on Left.
Review:
Awesome facility; clean, abundant parking, fully stocked pro-shop, readily available food, drinks, air. Plenty of refs. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Very close to the highway and easy to get to as well as find.
The absolute best turf in the state. This is not indoor/ outdoor carpet that is called "turf". This is actual professional arena turf. No apparent seams and absolutely gorgeous. Fun to play on.
