Directions to the Field: |
If you're headed in from Hastings, and you're on 281, just turn left on Husker Hwy. Take that all the way to Alda Rd, and turn right. You'll see some bunkers on the right, and on the corner, there'll be a gravel parking lot. Just the other side of that lot is the field. |

Awesome field. They just opened and I've been there two weekends out of the three they've been open. They've got one air bunker field right now, and they have plans for another, and then a regulation size Xball field by around October.
Paint's Field Paint Only and it's Origin Basic Training (40$) and Origin Classic (55$). Fees are 5$ for entry and all day air. 10$ more (I think) for full rental setup. I've rented just an airtank for 5$ though. Right now, all they've got is compressed air, no co2.
Right off the bat, it's a new place, and they're still working out the kinks. But they've got a couple of experienced players out there to ref, help out, or generally kick your butt so you know you've got some learning to do yet :P On the same token, I've seen them lose to the younger kids, just to make their day.
So far, I've rather enjoyed the atmosphere, the usual "Let's go out and have fun" attitude, and the general friendliness of the players I've seen out there so far. I haven't had a whole lot to complain about, and that field can expect me there as often as I can make it :D
Kudos to Andy, Andrea and Matt for making a heck of a field. |
