Hwy 401, take Shannonville Exit North, pass the OLCO gas station, next right turn is Harmony Road, take this turn and about a mile later on your left will be the banner over the entrance of Vietnam Village. Overall....only about 5 min. off the 401. Good location. |

I have heard about the opening of this new paintball field for the past few months and decided to check it out with a few of my friends. It was very impressive to say the least.....the owner (Chad) had everything well organized. The field opens at 9:30 am and closes at 4:30 to 5 pm. It is open every day of the week. Best to call ahead of time to let them know how many people are coming because they give recommendations about when other people will be there so that more targets are available.
It is a huge field with multiple sites for action. Dark Hollows is a unique fast fire area.....lots of cover and awesome environment......you have to see it to believe it. Lots of trails and bunkers through the forest/jungle, and two completed towers with multiple surrounding bunkers.
SP1's to rent for only $35 (mask, hopper, and marker all included). Lunch of hotdogs and pop is included in entrance fee. Safety is excellent, markers are chrono'd. Best thing is: 2000 good quality paintballs for only $79 taxes included.
Toilet facilities are present, and a good sized area for parking and resting.
Overall......this has to be one of the best paintball fields I have ever seen.....including those in the US.
I would recommend this field to anyone looking for quality experience at an excellent price and with excellent service. Nice work Vietnam Village.| Last edited on Wednesday, June 11th, 2008 at 8:42 am PST |

This place was great, the fields were pretty sweet, (especially Hollows, gotta check it out) and the staff was friendly. There was a team practise going on on the day we went and the captain took the time to give us a tour of the fields first and was pretty helpful with tips and info. The only concern I had whilst playing was that every ball that made contact with my skin cut me with the shell fragments, I imagine it's because the store their balls in a big cargo container which probably gets insanely hot making the balls brittle or something. But other than that, great place. Entry fee was $25 and a case of Diablos was $69 so it's pretty reasonable pricing. They only had SP1s there to rent when I was there but they said theyre getting some X7s in soon. The only other thing I can nitpick about is when your sneaking up on the base the surrounding bunkers are too bright and you can see them too easily, maybe give them a coat of paint, dark green or brown or something. |

The saftey is the best becuase they check your masks to make sure that they dont bust and they make usre that your alsays safe. When we went there was olny three feilds open but there are 4 more on the way but the ones that are done now are the best feilds i have ever played on. The prices are amazing for a case of 2000 paint its olny $79.00 with tax for a case of paint and the rentals are olny $35 for the sp1 and $50 for an tippmann x7. The staff is experinced and love paintball, they sell the good paintball gernades (the ones that actually explode) and they sell ghillie armor. Overall it is amazing and is the best feild you will ever paly on, so if you ever get the chance go there. |

The field was asked if they could let 1 shot paintball from Ottawa hold their scenario game there at a weeks notice as their field was flooded. The owner of the field agreed and did some rush work to prep the field for the game. The field is over 100 acres in size and I was able to take a bit of a tour with the owner Chad (very nice guy) and see most of it. All I can say is that it is amazing! The field had barely started construction and was still one of the best I have played on in a long time. The natural cover and open areas made for some really good games. The field up top was dry and has mixed brush consisting of mostly cedar trees. There was a tower under construction at the time I was there which I have just found out is now completed. The tower must have been at least 10 feet high to the platform. I can only say it is going to be pretty cool to play it once they are fully open. The staging area was nice and big and the owner had provided us all with new quick up gazibo style shelters. While there were no toilet facilities available when we played there the owner stated that they were going to have some available before opening. The roadway in was a little rough but it had not yet been completed and I have been to fields that had way worse road conditions than this field has. At least they took the time to put down gravel most of the way to the field. I spoke with the owner about what they will be charging and he told me the following.
$ 35.00 entry with rental of SP1 on full auto, includes all day play, 100 rds, free Co2 refills, lunch and a drink.
$ 25.00 entry for gun owners with free air/C02 fills, lunch, drink and all day play.
$ 55.00 upgrade package to Tippman X7 full auto with all of the above included.
Paint fee .... $70.00 per case of 2000 (cheapest outdoor pricing in the area)
$ 22.00 per bag of 500
All I can say so far is that I can't wait until this place officially opens... after speaking with the owner and playing there for a day I was hooked. This by far is the best field in the area even though there were no bunkers or structures built yet. I can only imagine how great it will be with those additions that are being built now. Everyone that was there that day all said the same thing... this field rocks and when it is fully built will be one of the best if not the best field in Ontario! No joke .... check it out for yourself. I will update this with a more detailed review once it is open to the public and I have played it. See you all there on the field.
