Review: It seems that there a few unhappy players. I thought reviews were supposed to be helpful. Well, for the first weekend at this field, I think they have something going that will be really great once it is all worked out. I asked about food and they said that Island County required special permits for that and it would have stopped the first permit.

It appears they worked very hard on the field. I liked the castle. They were actually willing to listen to suggestions. I few people were unhappy about some kid shooting hot. One of the refs asked to see the gun and walked to the chronograph. The gun shot between 245-255bps. I think there was a lot of termoil but it was the first weekend they were open.

Keep up the great work guys.

By the way, Hal, why are you dissing on these guys? Do you think you could do better? If you do, then why arent you starting a field. I would like to see just what people have to say about your first day.

For the first day and have, what, 60-70 people there, I think they did an outstanding job. May have been a little confusing at times but first day, Hal, give them a break.

Review: Okay, it was thier first day so I will cut them some slack. Instead I will offer some suggestions. 1.Put a time limit on games. Nothing is worse than waiting half an hour for the game to be finished. 2. Consessions. Offer food and drinks other than candy bars and pop. This will also help your bottom line. 3. Organize the games a little better. Offer different scenarios. 4. The "horseshoe" is not the greatest idea to set the bases. Establish them on the opposite sides of the field. Other than that (and the weather), I found the field exceptional. Nice bunkers, great work on the castle. Nice size field. In my opinion, once they get pass the learning curve and get the kinks worked out, this will be a first class field. The hard work and comittment towards a quality, fun and safe field is evident. I will be a frequent patron! Dale, Burt and Dan are friendly and helpful. Great shop in town...
