Review: Went to Master Blasters last Saturday and looked at a field that was a MUD Bowl and I can assume when the ground is DRY you will be playing in a DUST Bowl. Prices were high for paint and play and the field is on a rate of 1-10 with one the lowest I would have to rate it as a minus 10. FOX Paintball is 1000 percent better than this place. Better prices and alot more friendly people with lots of referees and their concessions are a lot better.

Review: This field was great at first and paint was really cheap. Well also you could see a bunch of tourny players and bout 4 or 5 new people. Well when we got there we only saw two fields, one hyperball and one airball. We were very suprised. the fields are put together very closely and they feel like 3 man fields. Well they were very smart and tried to put 10 man teams on a 3 man field!!! That was very dumb?!?!? The airball field is not even properley inflated half the bunkers are just sittin there and all those bunkers are very small. this field also had like 4 refs but only 1 did there job!!! The others sat on a bunker or on the side and watched. Some of the people there also laughed at us cause when we dove into a bunker our hopper fell and we lost alot of paint. That pissed me off.
Well i highley recommend this field for tourny players and to people that hav lots of exp. I don't recommend it for first timers or people that just started.

Review: I have been to Master Blasters twice (benefit of the doubt and a change) but was not impressed either time.

1) Yes, they do believe in safety and they made sure the newbs had goggles and plugs. But there was no one monitoring the chrono and it quit working at one point, and no one said anything until my group brought it to their attention.

2) They had ONE poor fella trying to hand out paint, take forms, fill tanks and yelling out the games and rules all at the same time. He also watched over the cooler. So that left ONE ref for each game, and with a bunch of kids playing, meant a lot of cheating. That also meant only one game running at a time. They seemed to be good guys, but it just wasnt enough of them to run a field with that many players out there, and they looked overwhelmed at times.

3) Only paint available was the $60 variety, and which no matter how you swing it, it was still Pro-Caps in a nice box. It did shoot and break well, but my Stinger at my usual field does that for $40-$45.

4) There were plenty of fields, but the one speedball field we practiced on had limp bunkers which made it a bit difficult to play on. Also, as stated above there was a lot of space but only enough refs for a game at a time.

This field used to be pretty good from what I hear, and could probably be turned around quite easily.Maybe my usual field has spoiled us (the one in bold above), but we will stick with them until some changes are made at MB.

Review: MB is by far the best field in the area. The people there are really cool, especially Mrs. P. allthough she hasnt been there lately. The head ref Chode is a great guy and wont let any cheating or anything like that happen. Brian is usually chilling in the cage and spends his days cleaning and fixing guns and handing out rental packages. Bean is also a good guy and willing to help out the customers in any way he can. They are strict with the rules which is a great thing because saftey is #1. The fields are great and the airball fields are changed up on a regular basis. The X-Ball field is setup every other Sunday and alot of good players and teams come out. Paint prices right now are unbeatable, around $30 for hellfire! Overall the best field ive ever played at.

Review: First and foremost I would like to stress this was my first time playing there so others opinions may very. But It was a bit of a drive to get there, but not the worst I have ever driven for a good game. They could do to have a little more parking also, but thats just me nit picking. Now to the field. First off the staff was very cool and helpful. I had just bought a new EGO and had a leak and a shoot down issue and they were on top of it like a NASCAR pit crew. They got me some macro line and tightened me up and I was on my way. They had a very nice X-Ball field, well maintained and manicured (especially considering the fact it rained up there recently and the grounds were a little damp and muddy). It was very very good and competitve games with a lot of seasoned players. It was was very few incidents of whipping, and/or playing on that I saw. A lot of people gave me some really good advice while I was out there and no one was rude about the way they did it. They also had a hyper ball field where most of the younger, and weekend warriors played so they did not have to play against the team players. Very good idea because alot of people are soured on paintball by having a very bad experience there first day out (like being bunkered by some guy with a ramping Angel catching ten balls in the back and head). They also had what looked like a obsticle course and a shooting gallery to tune your guns in, get a good ball bore match, and a good work out. All and all it was a good experince. The only thing I could say it was missing was food. Maybe I just did'nt see it cause I was so wrapped up in the great games I was having on the X-Ball field lol. I can honestly say if you think you are playing to the max level your field has to offer, or you think there are no real ballers in Virginia Beach I would highly advise taking the trip down to Master Blasters. It is worth the trip. Oh forgot one important aspect of the journey. Entry fee and field fee was pretty much standard, but I don't know if it was a new years eve special or a got to get this old paint out my store thing but they were selling Hellfire for 35 dollars a box. It might be a little old but shot like a champ through the EGO and I stocked up for practices. Like I said two thumbs up.

Review: Good field all together. Sometimes theres teams there doing tournys so you cant always play that much....The refs are helpful and will help with gun problems. They dont enfore the rules that muche xcept for the Surrender, Mask, and plug rules. They dont really check anyone unless one of the players asks. The refs are nice tho which is always a good thing in my book. They have 4 fields right now but they chnage them simetimes. They have one Spyder field( has copperheads in it sometimes), one speed ball field( were the teams play) a hyper ball field with big plastic bunkers(not the blow up kind) and another attack-defend field which is really fun.The field fee is $10 which is average and the paint is normal pricing..Unfortunantly like most fields its FPO which kinda sucks.I would recommend this to most people.

9 out of 10 b\c its FPO

Review: When I first went to the feild I was kinda nervious because it seemed to be mostly speed ball. After a little while i got used to it. The staff is alright. I would recomend it to my friends. I like most of what yall have i just think yall should devote some place to woodsball. Think about it.

Review: We have been playing localy for 3 years ,mostly rec but their tournaments are" rockin". by far the most professionally run field in the area. The games are 10 min. long and 10 min between each game [most games we have ever played in a day] 4500 psi fills with no waiting,we are always treated well and have fun with the staff. There are always people there to shoot [been to the other fields and waited 3-4 hours for a game of 3 on 3] the tournaments are the best 25 to 30 teams and no pros or big name teams and run fast pace [start by 10 and home by 3:30 . I give this field a 9 it would get a 10 if it was byop

Robbie and crew
