Ok if you coming off the A19 then its about 4 miles towards Sedgefield. Keep on the A689 and as you come to the blue, orange and white foot bridge slow down and look for the 3rd left about 100 mtrs after the bridge. From the A1 take the slip road off at J60 and head east on the A689 towards Sedgefield, stay on the A689 and head towards Wynyard, A19, Hartlepool. From the A1 J60 its about 6.5 miles just slow down when you see the above foot bridge and look for the site on the right (its easier to go past the bridge and u turn at the roundabout and come back up on the other side of the carriageway.
Review:
We use this site because my eldest son 11 can play mainstream paintball here and my youngest son age 7 can play a low impact paintball game. Today we were their for a family game so we all played the Foam Shot paintball (Low Impact)
Staff excellent 1to1 from the phone call to book and pay the deposit, to the departure, We were well looked after, made to feel comfortable, we all felt safe, we haven't laughed this much as a family in ages.
We booked 1hrs for 10 people from age 7 the birthday boy to my dad age 58 (sorry dad) Cost £200 included unlimited paintballs all the guns. We all given camouflage overalls and a well delivered safety talk.
We played 7 games in total the favorite game being Terminator which meant I put a bright white sports bib on top of my cam overalls and i was hunted down by 9 unforgiving family members. (THANKS FAMILY)
The arena that we played in was great it had a well thought out safety area and the playing area was made up of large straw barricades a woodland area with barricades and the best part a maze in the woods which is great for sneaking up on die hard Dave (uncle Dave) and annihilating him HA HA HAR. The whole area has sound effects piped in, to give a realistic war zone feel and it has been well thought out with regards to safety.
I think they are planning a new arena (Speedball?) and to start catering on site. We took our own food and drinks eat in their picnic tent which you are aloud to do.
Great changing facilities washroom and toilets for both male and female.
Bonus: We got to do a bit of target practice with the mainstream gun 100 balls for £6 which gave some of us the chance to fire a semi-automatic for the first time. My eldest son says "its cool can hold 200 shots, fire at 200mph at 5 balls per second" I feel another visit to Battle Stations is on the horizon for his birthday.
Overall we would like to thank Battle Stations for an excellent time and we will spread the word.
