This is the nicest place to play, in the area. That said, there is not really alot to choose from when playing in the Tri-cities. Paint is a little high, rentals are mid grade, and truth being told refs have had no customer service training. Alot of these guys know thier stuff but try to push you into speed ball so you'll be forced to buy more balls. That said, this place is nice for people that just wanna go out and burn paint while having careless fun. Its kinda like going out to eat fast food for dinner, you know the quality of the product cause you picked it.
Seriously though, fiels aren't bad, hours are sketchy but so are players availability, prices are moderatly higher than average (they have to make a profit to keept the place open, refs could use some customer service training although they know the sport, you'll always get mixed company when playing, facilities are par, and food is snack food. Overall, its not bad for being the only place to play legally within the Tri-Cities without getting in trouble with the law. |

With $10 field fee, which includes all day air and the “Field only paint” at $40 a case, this an affordable field to play. You can also rent a marker for $35 that includes all day CO2 and 500 rounds of paint.
Field facilities: The “field shop” is equipped with CO2, Hp Air, Rental markers, masks, and CO2, and a cooler of refreshments. At the time they were not equipped with a Credit card reader at the field however, the field manager said that he would bring a card scanner in the future. They only appeared to have one porta-potty on the site.
There are five different fields.
Woods: this is a basic woods ball field with brush cut, plywood, and trees as bunkers… Apparently, a windstorm knocked down some of the trees closing up the middle however, this made for some great fun.
Mini Speedball: this is a small field using spools as a majority of bunkers. This is a fast field and is ideal for a small groups (12 or less)
Speedball: A combination of inflatable and plastic corrugated tubing, this field is great for groups of 12 or more as it is a NPPL size field.
The two fields I did not play were the “Village” and I think the other was “Desert.”
This field is awesome.

Tri-City paintball is a great field.
They have 5 fields.
Big Speed-
Great for alot of people.
Small Speed-
Good for around 4v4
Forest-
Setup like a speedball field in trees. Great for alot of players.
Small Village-
About 5 "houses" in the middle of trees and such. One team has to defend the village, other attacks.
Big Village-
Around 7 "houses" in a big open area. Surrounded by bushes and trees. There is a road that goes right down the middle to it. You can flank from the river bed, and there is a trench on the other side.
Overall its a good field.
Prices:
No field fee.
All day Co2 - $10
All day Air - $12
Case of paint - $48
Hemorrhage case - $60
Rental $25 - Gun, mask, 500 balls, 9oz tank, barrel condom.
Need more/ better refs. |

ive been playing at this field for a long time and everything is good. the reason the road (past the gates) is bumpy is becuase tri-city paintball does generate plenty of money but due to people driving up and down this road alot it tends to get beaten up and the speed in there is 10 miles or less and this is becuase people usually scream down that road an throw up rocks and dirt and the neighbors of the field dont like stuff being thrown up and made a mess. so be respectul of it. Fields are good and in well condition the only problem we have on one of the fields is the Small SpeedBall course, due to the wind we have sometimes and the bunkers get blown down very rarely, plus it gets used alot but they are always working on it. safety is always required on the field even if there is one person out there looking for a pod or whatever he/she always wears goggles. barrel plugs or barrel condoms are always required coming off the field into the staging area.honor system is perfect, everyone treats everyone with respect there and no cussing is allowed. good rules and safety always. The staging area always has water and pop and gatorade available to be purchased as well as simple gun parts. overall, very good field and i would recommend seeing it if you are in the area. great place to go with friends and family aswell as take kids| Last edited on Tuesday, April 18th, 2006 at 3:46 pm PST |

Just a startup field in Yakima, which never got off the ground. Pity too, that was going to be a cool field... |

Some friends of mine and I were in Yakima and wanted to go paintballing, so we rolled the 75 miles down to Richland, and I will say that it was worth it.
We played for several hours in the main speedball field, and had a great time. There were some kids there that apparently belong to a local team as well, and they were happy to have us join them. Some brand new paintballers came to, and were welcomed by the staff and the other players.
We played in two fields, the large and small speedball fields. They are both well laid out, with good spectating area on the side. The large speed field is made mostly of full three-dimensional bunkers, allowing wrapping and a lot of angles to be utilized. The small speed field is mostly pieces of plywood forming two-dimensional bunkers. When I say small, I mean small- you can easily decide the match with a slugfest from the opposite ends of this field.
Reffing was acceptable. They could have done better, as some arguments about whether or not someone was hit dragged on for several minutes. It would have been good to have refs on both sides of the field to check people. One other concern I had was that there was minimal control at the chrono station- they didnt check your speed at all, and when you could have people getting hurt from hot guns, a little more watchfulness could pay off. They get points, however, for enforcing goggle rules all the time. If you are on the field, you will wear your mask, even if you are the only person on the field. Also, they do try to even the teams, putting a balanced set of players on each end of the field. All the players may be friends with the refs, but the refs put the enjoyment of the guests higher than that of their friends, as it should be- experienced players know that this is how it should be.
The staging area is pretty good. There are a lot of spools set up as tables, and there is plenty of room for separate groups of people to exist without getting into someone elses space. This field does require field paint, but they were pretty lax about that and a lot of people (myself included) surreptitiously used their own paint without any problems. Maybe it was just a slow day and they didnt care, I dont know. The field is easy to find, once you know are on the right road. As a previous reviewer stated, the road into the field does suck, and I cant imagine what it would be like when it rains.
In conclusion, I would recommend this field to anyone, as they are very friendly toward players of all types. I look forward to playing there again in the future. This field gets an 9 out of 10.

I have been goin to the Tri-City Paintball course for about a year now and i really like it,they got several feilds to choose from Forest,Village,Big Speed,Mini Speed, and Sage Brush,an sometimes they do secanario games an open up the whole thing to free roming wich is FUN! lol.The refs and peronalitys at the course make you want to come back and play agin,Carson,Butters, and the others are pretty cool.It would be nice if they would put some more work into the village tough. But all in all the feilds there are great i LOVE Forest,Mini speed,Big speed, and,Village i havent played sage but a couple times but it was pretty cool to. |

This is the only feild I have ever played at other than just in the woods, and I like the feild alot. The prices are awesome, and the refs are very nice. They help out, and get their jobs done. Sometimes they swear, but they keep it under controle with little kids around. The speedball feild is made of wooden boxes and cable spools, and they bring in an airball feild for tounies. The minispeed blows monkey wanker, it is old beat up plywood bunkers with holes in them. Woodsball and village wil really tickle all of the scenario players fancey, there is alot of thick brush. In woodsball there are paths on both sides with bunkers and if you are quick you can get behind the other team.
This is a great feild for the rec-player. Tourney players will crave more. I give it a nine out of ten because I am starting to look into the touney scene more, but it is great for rec-ballers.| Last edited on Friday, January 14th, 2005 at 8:03 pm PST |

Courses
1-The bunkers are pretty beat up, but they have remade some bunkers in the small speedball field.
2-There are quite a bit of bunkers to hide behind in the big speedball course, and the small speedball course has enough bunkers to fit a small game, but if you want a larger game go to the big speedball course.
Refs
1- I played in a tournament there and the refs were very friendly. They helped us out alot, and did not favor anyone. Everything was perfectly fair.
2- In rec play, the refs usually don't want to go to the woods course, but it just depends on whose refing. But if the players want to go to the woods, they will go to woods. If they want to go to speedball, they'll go to speedball. The refs are pretty helpful in rec also.
Tournaments
1- They set up 1 airball field and thats what we played on.
2- They didn't have enough teams, so the put the advanced and beginner teams together.
Place
1- The road to the field isn't that good, but it's not that bad anymore.
2- Nice atmosphere.
3- Some shade, but they need more of it.
All in all, I give it an 8. Pretty fun place to play at with a good atmosphere.| Last edited on Friday, November 5th, 2004 at 2:27 pm PST |

I've been going to this field for quite awhile and I like it. The Big Speedbal field is quite fun, though it is a little run down. The refs are good as long as you aren't stupid. This place would be alot better if they just invested a little time and/or money once in awhile.
They vote on which fields to play, so it is fair but woods players are usually outnumbered but the woods fields kinda suck anyways.
Once in awhile they run Tourney's that actually have alot of good players, and occasionally have air fields.
If you play, don't vote for the village its a waste of time and paint.
Worst things about the field:
Dirty
Long In-Between breaks

Lost Creek Village near Yakima and Camp Ghormley's field. Richland's field is the best field I've played at so far, better paint and more choices of fields. |

I went to Tri-City Paintball with a church group of about....well....enough people to fill up a bus. Anyway the staff there, while there wasn't that many, were very helpful and seemed to want to help us. As for the paint they sold, it wasn't bad. It curved a bit, but it hardly ever broke in the barrel. The fields were a lot of fun to play on, including the woods field and village. I didn't try any of the speedball fields, except to run through them on a game where all of the fields were used. The big Speed ball field had a lot of good cover. However I rarely saw any refs during the games. It might have just been me, but the games for all I know were running on the honor system. In general the field is a lot of fun to play at, and the staff is helpful and nice. This is the best field that I have ever played at. |
