WOW, was it time for an update, MI has in fact moved 1 exit south of their previous location
they are now opperating 2 fields with a 3'rd on the drawing board(a massive urban setup) and a walk-up pro shop with everything you need, and if you are in the market for something they dont have, they will order it for you at great prices(my vice was 715 after tax and shipping as of 2/2/08)| Last edited on Tuesday, February 19th, 2008 at 3:19 pm PST |

From reading the others reviews it seems like a lot of people either love or hate this field. This field has 3 speedball/air-ball fields, so its great if this is what you want to play. Personally if I had the time, I would prefer going to a field that has both speed-ball and woods-ball (i.e. Paintball Bros, GTF) so I could mix it up more.
The great thing about having these 3 speed-ball fields is that you can get in a lot of games. Speed-ball games go quick and the fields and the shop are close together. When I played I was able to get 6 games in within two hours. You can't get that much play time in such a short period at any of the other fields in Jax. A ref was on the field for every game and kept things moving along nicely. The pro shop was very helpful in fixing gun problems and everyone was cool. There were only 4 walk-ons that were there on late morning/early Saturday afternoon. I didn't stay past 1:30 pm so I am not sure if it got more busy later in the day. This is the only field in Jax that has paved parking as well and is located just off of 95. Also it is right behind the outlet stores so you could drop the wife/girlfriend/mom off and let her shop while you play.
In summary, if you love speed-ball or if you don't have a lot of time in the day to get your paintball fix in, this is a good option. If you don't mind the 30 minute wait between games that you see at other fields, then go there. |

For two first timers, this place was great. Staff was a lot of help and was fun to talk to. Safety was a constant theme and done very well. We went on Saturday and they included everyone at the park in the games. As a dad who brought his younger son, it was a great experience even though one of the staff was a NY Giants fan. |

I feel that Murder Inc is one of the best fields in the state of Florida. The pro shop is great having everything you need from pants, jerseys, paint, air, pods, packs, parts, and guns from low to high end. They can basically fix any gun. I saw a kid today who had a promaster that didn't work they had two techs working on it to get it fixed so he could play and after complete going threw and cleaning the ram and fixing his solenoid they only charged him for a battery that was in need of replacing. They have the Nice's staff, everyone is so friendly and will help you with anything from your gun to your game on the field. I have never been to a field that is so willing to just take time and show newer/less experienced player how to play better as these guys are. They have a Wednesday night league just to help newer players get into tournament paintball. There tournaments are great they just had a Rage In The Cage (just like the UAPL) which was amazing it was ran extreme well and was great to be a part of. On Sundays is when a lot of the teams come to play average about 3-4 teams which is great practice. They have great refs who always make sure that everything is ran smooth and make sure everyone get their far share of play. They accommodate player from beginner all the way to experienced. They have 3 field( which are field paint only) a 3-man arena ball field, a attack and defined field with a castle at one end, and a 5 man air-ball field. They have a cover staging area that is near the fields and has plenty of room for people to store their equipment. They have bleachers at the 50 of the arena field and a cover set at one end of the air ball field. If your are near St. Augustine you need to play at Murder Inc. |

I played at Rapid Fire before M.I. took over and I've also played at First Coast. M.I. blows them out of the water. |
 |
Directions to the Field: |
Take I95 south to the S.R. 16 exit and turn right. Go about a mile or two down and look for the Family Fun Factory on the right. It's in the same parking lot. If you take I95 North, turn left instead and go to the Family Fun Factory parking lot. |

Alright, so I've been playing at M.I. since it opened. Ignore the dates and crud up top of this review about when the last time I played there was and how long I've been playing there... I've been out of state at college for a while and I play whenever I get the chance to come back in town.
M.I. Paintball is an incredible field. The refs are all great and experienced. The refs are fair and make sure the rules are followed and they will give you pointers and tips on playing tactics.
The field is all about safety and fun. M.I. tries to give everyone a great experience. Novice and newer players will experience a fair, even environment and experienced players will as well. The teams are split up fairly so that one team doesn't truly dominate.
Chris and Sammy run a great shop on top of their field. They sell great equipment and markers for the best prices around. Not to mention buying a marker from them gives you lifetime free labor on that marker with the exception of parts. They know what they are doing and if you ask them what/how they fixed on your marker they will explain and make sure you understand it. These guys are all about a relatively inexpensive, extremely safe and fun environment for every player from novice to pro. |

Fun field to play, no complaints other than when it ges crowded when it is the break is a pain. The guys in the shop are helpful and the refs give you tips to improve your game. I wish the fields were slightly wider or longer. I only play speedball so this is my kind of place to play. They are finishing the small 3 man field so I cant wait to play it. I give MI a big thumbs up. |

I played at this place 2 or 3 times a while back and went back semi-recently and it never relly changed which is a good thing. The fields are well kept and the netting is nice and the pro-shop is air-conditioned and theres a nice sitting area. Unfortunately this field has some problems. High paint prices are one. Another is the size of the fields. They only have 2 fields, both 3-man fields and one is hyperball the other is airball. They have tournaments often but they are always 3-man and the entry fee is around 300-350 dollars. Thats a large chunk of money for a local 3-man tournament. The first prize however is usually something nice like pimps or freestyles, however 2nd and 3rd are usually not. Its often paint or gearbags.
They are fairly strict about safety so parents dont be conserned about your kids' safety. However the last time i went there were some potty mouths that could do with shutting up for the rest of the day and just playing. But seriously now what fields donthave people like that? Its a competitive sport so youll have to deal with it. Im going to give this field a 6 out of 10, due to the high prices and small fields. I wouldnt mind paying extra if they had 2 more fields or made the existing ones bigger. |
