Review: Only played once at this field, but I will not return unless some easy changes are made.

The indoor field was small, about the size of a tennis court. Was fast and extreem but was too quick and no real strategy.

The outdoor fields were very nice, only one field was open at the time. There was alot of hiding spots, branches and bushes to hide behind. My only problem with the outdoor fields was the 1/2 mile walk in the mud to get to the fields, then having no covered spots to set up, no air and only one bench.

The people were nice and friendly, safetly first, and seemed knowledgeable, however the refs were not into the game (they didn't even watch, donno why they even have refs), and all games relied on the honor system.

All in all I would choose another field since the main reason we went was indoor and were dissapointed. If they had a truck and/or more benches and a place to setup in the outdoor side it would be much better.

They had 4500 air, but never set it up and only used 3k air.

Review: I have played at shooters many times from when they started. they have had a lot of business lately and it is a fun place to start at or if you like to play woodsball.

Right now they have 3 paintball fields and workng on a airsoft field. they have a indoor airball field not too big but fun for some 3 on 3 or less because it gets too crowded. the staff let you arrne the field howeve you want to it is alot of fun. they have two outdoor fields one is sort of a hyperball they use barrels the only thing i dont like about this field is that you cannot dive into a bunker unless you want to hurt yourself. if you run into a bunker the barrels can swing around and expose you behind your cover. the woodsball field is big and they have many different types of game styles that you can play like defend bunker hill, save the pilot, or you can just play normal elimination.

The staff is really friendly. I reffed for a day while they fixed my gun. the staff helped me i dont know how many times. overall this is a great field the only thing i want them to add is a NPPL style field

Review: If you are looking for a great day of recreational paintball you should give Shooters a try. They currently have two fields and are woking on building more.

The indoor field is decent sized and can accomadate a good sized group of 6 on 6 or even a little more if you wanted to. The field consists of all plastic barrels with netting to cover them. You can arrange the field to your liking which is very fun. Me and my son have rearranged the field twice now. Makes for a unique experience building the field.

The outside field is a very good woodsball experience. The field is not super huge but its plenty big. They are expanding it a little bit at a time.

Its not far form the Feather river which means alot of trees and dense brush. The trees will provide alot of shade in the summer when it gets hot. Whats unique about the field all the bunkers are trees and brush. They are all made out of the natural enviroment a very very nice touch. This is a true woods ball field. One thing on the woods ball field its a little walk to get out there and once at the field you will stay for most of the day. I recommend bringing a small backpack for your water and snacks. Pack so you can carry your gear easily marker etc. They do take a quad with a trailer out to carry some of your gear.

They are building more fields and plan on building a Airball/speedball field.

The staff are awesome. They have high pressure air up to 4,500. They sell snacks soda and can get pizza delivered.

The rentals are all Custom 98 with HPA. All of which are well maintained.

They have a small shop and sell all the essentials including markers. They can order anything you may need.

YOU NEED TO USE FIELD PAINT ONLY BUT THE PRICES ARE EXCELLENT. They sell a nice selection of paint at very fair prices. No gouging here.

Customer service and safety is top notch. Awesome stafff.

I reccomend calling ahead to see if they have groups coming out before you go. They have a small group of regular players building up.

If your like me tired of drivind 1hr plus to play in Sacramento give them a try. I live in Marysville and the drive is perfect. Of course I will still make it around to play else where I am a true paintball addict.

I play all over the Sacramento area almost every single weekend. We have alot of nice fields to play at in the area. All have strong points. What shooters offers.
1. Great beginner or privete group experience. Birthday parties etc.
2. All day play. They stay open until your done. If it gets dark play inside.
3. If its raining just play inside.
4. If you live north of Sac its worth a try.
5.Open any day of the week for private groups.

This field is about fun and Rec paintball. Look froward to hpefully seeing you all on the field some day.

EDIT 31 May 10
They have expanded the woodsball field and its awesome. Its big enough to flank and hide. But not too big so the game goes on too long. Its has lots of trees and thick vegetation. There are alot of big trees providing lots of shade. Its one of the best woodsball fields in the area.

I have played both Action paint and Infinite edge which have nice fields. The problem with playing those fileds you get about 10 games a day and the field can almost be a little to big. Shooters is smaller but allows for alot more play time in a day. I have played up to 15 or more games in one day on the woods field. They will play whatever games you want. THEY 100% WANT TO PLEASE THE CUSTOMER AND WILL ALMOST ALWAYS LET YOU CHOOSE THE PLAYING STYLE. You pick the game such as elimination, respawn, capture the flag, head and chest shot elimination only.

They are slowly making improvements. They have a nice netted area with picnic tables in the shade. More fields are in the work. They have a barrel field up and its pretty good. They are still working on it and it will be awesome when they get it done. Sometime in the future they plan on building a village.

They have a awesome woodsball field. Not too big but just the right size too allow alot of games in one day. If you want woodsball give them a try.
