Review: Ok, so basically I have been playing at this field since a started playing paintball six years ago. My first two years playing I only played at this field because it was close to my house, then I started to try out some other fields and do tournaments and big games at hell. Although this last year I have only been a couple of times, I know the refs, owners, and people that play there quite well.

First off I have to say that overall, the reviews on this site are right on.

Starting with the pros- The fields I feel are really good. When they have the airball fields up, they are sweet. I enjoyed the hyperball a lot which I still think is up. Urban is a great course and lego is good as well.
The price is totally fair. I always bring my own paint and so do most of the players. The paint there is ok. I agree with whoever talked about the nitro fill up only working to 2800, it is like that everytime... but still admission is really cheap and it's for the whole day (i think it is still 15).

Cons- The ref's laziness! YES, it is true what everyone says, the refs are overly laid back and it 100% hurts the game in my opinion. I love reading how not only do the refs permit cheating... they contribute to it haha. Now I don't want people thinking that the refs are not good people. They are chill, and off the field are helpful and cool. BUT... refs are not just there to be your buddies and they don't seem to learn this. They set up teams horribly. You have the regulars (speedballers) vs. the newbies... or worse you get FUBAR vs. the newbies. The refs and fubar try to say it is even, because of numbers, but the teams are sooo unfair. And I'm not saying this because I get put on the newbie team, infact it's the opposite now. But when I just started paintball, i remember how rediculous the teams were, and how badly my team would get owned. One of the biggest factors of why teams are unfair at futureball is because of FUBAR. It's especially hard to make teams even when Fubar is around because Fubar is sponsored by futureball and some people of fubar are refs!!

So do I recommend paintballers to play here??... Well basically it is up to you how much you care about even teams and fair play. I personally absolutely love paintball and I just wanted to play and not blow all my money away. When I started going more often I found a big group of guys to play airball on our own, Sometimes we would separate from the group... and play without refs!! (a classic example of something futureball will sometimes let you do because they are chill). You really have a lot of fun at futureball and the biggest suggestion I can make is to stand up to the refs (and Fubar) and tell them that the teams are unfair. They may say your being wimpy or whatever... but screw that. You are paying them to ref so try as hard as you can to make them do their job. Guarentee if you get some people to complain about it, they will listen. Hope this helps.

Review: The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Unlike others who reviewed the field I didn't have a problem with the paint, (of course it WAS a fresh shipment).

The fields were pretty decent.

The field opens at 9 am. Their website isn't specific enough on the hours...I'll elaborate. At 9:45 they do orientation. Around 1 pm the first session ends. They start playing again around 3pm.

The were a few problems I had with the field.

One of them was the 20 ft. rule. You cannot shoot a player if you are within 20 ft of them. Considering the design of the field and the fact that there are a lot of spots where you are in tight quarters...this rule is a major pain.

The second was the amount of refs. There are only two. All but one of the fields require at least 3 refs.

The only reason the second problem is an issue is because of the third problem...cheating. This is pretty prevalent. I caught one guy wiping his mask off after I shot him in the goggles. And I suspected a few others of doing this as well. Not to mention hearing other players complain about through the day.

The refs are laid back...laid back enough to not care so much about the cheating...in fact they even participate in it from time to time. An example of this was the two refs putting themselves into the games...which wouldn't have been a problem if once they had been killed they stayed that way. Instead they would reinsert themselves and sometimes on a different team each time.

Once a player is eliminated they are allowed remain out of the playing field to observe. There isn't a designated spot...it's up to each individual to determine where they want to stand.

This became an issue when one of the regulars (and I think the field's speedball team member) decided to shadow his buddy (and fellow speedball player) during a Capture the Flag game. He moved behind the trees and stayed behind his buddy. Everyone believed he was a live player. He moved and acted as one. He remained in the area well after his buddy had been eliminated and causing us to waste a lot of paint on him before we realized he wasn't in the game.

When I raised that issue after the game....the refs and staff just shrugged their shoulders.

The refs are laid back....even more so with the regulars. And it was the regulars who were doing the cheating that I saw.

If you're new to the sport....stay clear of this field. Get to know paintball at more professionally run fields like Hell Survivors.

If you're an experienced player who likes trying new fields....in spite of everything I wrote you'll likely have fun. The field design is good and the staff and people are friendly...they aren't stickler for rules and don't seem to care about games unless they are in them.

Review: This field is an okay field there paint sort of sucks. I was using my tippmann x-7 and have never used it before there alot of chops so if you do come here bring your own paint. It was my first time here and every body else was already playing so one guy just gave me the introduction and the rules. They have like four fields. SpeedBall team pratice, woodsball, two more that were cool. This is just an overall great place just bring your own paint.

Review: I like reading the reviews about Future ball cause they are all centered around the same thing; Futureball is lazy, they dont care about their customers, the refs take forever to get started. The truth is that futurball is a laid back (not Lazzy) and is not as strict as hell. I think that Hell is a great field and has pros and cons just as futureball, but i think that futureball is a laid back more relaxing field. If you wanna have a good time got to Futureball, get to know the owner hes really cool and helpfull, talk to the refs they'll help you out with lots. If you get to know the staff the place is the best. Future Ball=10

Review: Pros:
many different fields
New field called gun smoke (legos)
Cool fields
nice people
5 minute walk during break to arbys or burger king
$15 to play for the whole day(9am - 7pm during the summer)
new field is awesome
they let you use your own paint. so paintballs are rarely an issue.

Cons:
Paintballs are $50-$60 for a case of 2000.
air fills are 4-5 bucks per fill.
not that many refs only like 1 or 2
lots of mosquietos.
games are only 15 minutes so sometimes games a called early.

nice location
great people work there
many different fields
team practice
food
proshop 4 minute walk

cons-
fields are gettn old
needs new stuff

Pretty good place over all. Execept the fact that the woodsball fields are swampy and infested with bugs. They cant really do anything about that. Maken a new field instead f spindal city. Sapossed to have back of trucks, two forts, and other things. i would recommened this place to everyone = ]

Review: This field is great. They don't require you to buy there paint, which is sweet, so you don't have to pay $50 on paint only the $15 admission fee. The refs are pretty cool, they usually are very helpful. They keep it pretty safe. There is candy and stuff too. They also have a proshop nearby. Also it is only like 15 bucks to rent there. They fill air cheap too.
Overall this field is great. I will continue to play there.

Review: Futureball is a very nice outdoor field. It isnt field paint only, but they have lots of brands up at their proshop. The field is pretty safe and the refs do a o.k job of enforcing them. I will admit that sometimes the refs do play favorites with the 'regulars'. But you can fix this problem, GO THERE MORE OFTEN and become a regular, Then you will be 'favored'. The people you play with there are usually pretty nice. Like they wont rip u up to bad if your a newb. They also have pop, gatorade and candy for purchase. The fields they have there are usually pretty well maintained, but sometimes the grass gets a little long on some of them. They have team practice for like $15 if i recall which includes free air. The air there is also pretty cheep. Plus the owner (Jim) is a nice guy. He always helps me whenever i have gun trouble. They also have some nice free play days and scenarios that are pretty fun. All in all it is my favorite field and will continue to go there.

-Team Practice
-Layed back
-preatty good feilds

Cons
-FUBAr (there this team that play senarios who WIPE a lot)
-Compresor (it doesnt always work)
-Refs are sometome Lazy

Feilds
-Catsle- This is a feild that the ethier play attack and deffend or the play capture the flag There a 2 castles. Big Feild and nice for woods ball

-Jungle- A big feild in the back of teh wood. The Play capture the flag. Theres a smalll creek running through it. IN the summer its really humid and your mask will fog up. Also its not always playable becouse it gets muddy. Pure woodsball.

Aurbun- a feild the woods that has one house and a bus fort. They either play attack adn defend the house or they willplay capture the flag. The hous is two storys. also ther are a loot of brush piles and cars.

-Spindal City- This is my lest favorite feild it is sandy and alos they bunkers are spindale wraped in cloth or plywood its faster than woodsball but still not airball.

Hyper bal- Thi sis a feild thast made of black pipes. it right behind castle and its not huge. This is my second favorite feild. Its pretty fast an dfun.

Air ball. Normal size airball feild but the bunkers arent always inflated and the grounds kinda hard and rocky

I like this feild but some time the wait between games is to long.
