Paintball Jungle, Xtreme Paintball (Travis AFB), Antioch Paintball (All of them are atleast an hour away from the area) I've only played at Xtreme Paintball and it was pretty good.
Directions to the Field:
Rhonert Park off of HWY 101 (You can't miss it)
The field is great... It is an indoor course and there are a ton of people there to play, get there early or you will find yourself trying to find a seat/Table.
Cheaters: While I was there, I didn't see ANY... There were no wipers, everyone that got tagged out, left the field. There was only 1 ref, but he had a great field of fiew and was pretty much able to see everyone.
They DO NOT fill CO2. They will only allow you to fill HPA. (Understandable, I wouldn't want a bunch of CO2 tanks leaking in an indoor field)
The staff is very friendly and seem to enjoy what they do. The Ref's are always willing to get a game going for you (Even if there is only 4 people there) They have an overhead announcing system that they use to let everyone what game will be heald where (IE Self equipped / advanced players on ______ field).
1 Hour - $12 ($15 for upgraded marker)
3 Hours - $24 ($30 for upgraded marker)
Full Day - $40 ($45 for upgraded marker)
1 Hour - $7
3 Hour - $14
Full Day - $28
$7 - 140 rounds with a pod (you get to keep the pod)
$16 - 500 rounds
$50 - 2000 rounds
Self Equipped can use paint purchased from one of their associated stores, rentals MUST use field paint.
Proshop: The proshop has a couple of tools they may allow you to use if something happens with your marker, but they will not repair your marker for you. The proshop is where you pick up rental markers, air tanks, masks, ect...
Courses: There are 2 courses, the bigger one is more of a speed ball course with inflatable bunkers and is excellent to play on. Be careful with the shoes you play in as there is no place for the paint to go once it breaks so there is a lot of paint on the ground and very slick (they did, however; lay down stuff for shoes to get a little bit of grip) The other course is an urban course and this one is smaller, they made walls, put a car in there, couches, ect... There is more paint on the floor of this course than there is on the speedball course. Probably because it is smaller with the same number of people playing.
Food/Drinks: There is an In-N-Out burger less than 100 feet away from the building, and they sell drinks at the main desk.
Overall this is an excellent field... we started with 4 cases of paint and played for 9 straight hours and still have 1.5 cases left. They do require self-equipped players to Chrono their guns..
