Paintball Club of Choctaw (only played once as well) - totally different type of play (tournament sup' air fields) so there's not a good comparison.
Review: My review of Adventure Zone is mixed.

GOOD
- I enjoyed the fields.
- The refs were friendly and did a good job being nice.
- They have a 12 acre field that is heavily wooded. Playing with anything less than 30 people on each side means you do a lot of creeping around wondering if you are walking into an ambush or a sniper position. This was the first time I can remember needing to really use my ears to play a game of paintball (listening for footsteps in the woods). It was very exciting.
- The Lost City field was pretty cool too. They built several (1/4 to 1/2 complete) cinder block buildings and positioned them well.

BAD
- Checking in. It was my first time there. I walk up to the trailer and look up into the open window. The guy inside just looks at me like "so, what the hell do you want?". I'm not a kid, I'm a 37 year old business man, so this was pretty annoying. As a customer, and someone new to the field I would have liked for someone to come up with something more than a "what do you want" look. So, customer service is not top notch, I can live with that I guess.
- Organization. Games were not well organized and communication was not good between refs who were getting players together to start a game and the players themselves.
- Waiting. 20 minutes in between games was the norm... which is too long for me.
- Fields are a little ways away from the staging area, but it's not ridiculous by any stretch of the imagination.

OVERALL
I give the place a 7 out of 10.

8 for the fields.
7 for the friendly refs.
8 for the cost (paint wasn't bad and because games were so spread out I only shot a case where I would normally shoot two).
5 for the customer service (this is what could really improve).

I would recommend playing here because the fields were decent. Just plan on supplying your own fun because they aren't going to provide it for you.

I have played most fields in OK, and this one ranks very highly for scenario play. I have never played here on a normal play day.
Review: Adventure Zone puts on awesome scenario games. They have a very large field with many different types of playing areas. They have dense woodland, urban, and speedball playing fields. I have played two scenario games at this field and really enjoyed playing in both of them. They do a great job with game ideas and props. The staff is really cool, but they could do a little better job reffing the bigger games. I would recomend this field to anyone who is looking for a field in the OKC area.

Dodge City = worse fields, worse prices, staff was better though
Directions
to the Field:
From OKC north on I-35 get off and go right on exit 151 go straight until road turns left but turn right just before it does, there is a sign at this point
Review: Ive been here three times now, what draws me here is the large selection of fields, and the prices of paint if you buy it at shaggy brothers. If your smart, you can stop before you go and get a case of Karnage brand paint , any type they have all of them, at shaggy brothers on memorial road in OKC, this cuts down on the price, making it cheaper than Dodge city. Every time I go it seems like the staff really doesnt care that your there. After paying your fees or rentals you have to keep asking them to either get started of find a walk on group for you this usually take like at least a half hour. I strongly suggest making a private party. But once you get started the refs are nice and keep you at a pretty good pace. One of the best things about the field is the selections of fields. They have every type, although they usually are to lazy to air up the Sup-air for walk-ons.

Another thing that frustrates me is the service at the front desk, Ive had to shout up at the window to get service, and when I first got my gun I asked to borrow a pair of pliers to clip my spring and they didnt have one, come on a pair of pliers?

The field like most paintball places doenst feel like a business because the staff doesnt feel like employees, more like dudes just chillin'

All in all the field is pretty good, just be assertive and dont assume you will be cared for.

Review: This place is easy to find just right off the highway, and it has lots of room for parking and staging.Lots of room! Over all the employees were helpful and good to deal with. The refs were fair and paid attention to the game and everyones safety. There was a lot of feilds to choose from and we played all of them instead of just playing the same 2 over and over. The prices on fees and air are average but the paint prices are high for the quality of the paint. Ever other ball would brake in the barrel all day long. After i brought it up the other players said they would let you buy outside paint only if it was brought from Shaggy Brothers in OKC. They do not have a pro shop but will help you the best they can in repairs or tuning. Over all it is a fun place to play with the regular crowd of walk ons that are ready to have some fun. I have not been to another field where people are so nice and are good sports.

Review: AZ in my opinion used to be a great feild great refs, good games, and safety but it seems that recently that it has gone down hill. Inexperienced refs that some how changed the rules that i have known for 4 years and then being completly rude to me when i say something about it. Another thing is that they have stoped letting walk-ons play sup-air because of pure laziness(not wanting to blow up the bunkers). I think that if they would turn things around to the way it used to be then things would be great.

Review: This field is a great place to really practice, the refs are always there when you need them, unless of course there is a huge battle going on, then you'll have to wait your turn... The guys know what they are talking about, both at the shop and the field. They help service your gun for no cost, and make sure your needs are met.

The cost isnt that bad, yes the paintballs are a little expensive at the field, but if you plan ahead, you can get to the shop to save money. The use of their paintballs ensures safety, and that is one of the main focuses at the field.

This place has great courses, each designed for a different game everytime, the fields are kept in great shape.

This field, I give a 9 - their are a few things to change, maybe a drink vendor or something, but thats it!

none sad to say, other than the one i run for a youth camp, and a lil' back yard ball... i played in a few out of state places that where amazing...
Review: first off, let me say that i disslike adventure zone , so if you are going to post rude comments then dont read anymore... ( and just to let you know all the comments on this post are truthfull and honost, these come from personal experences and i wanted you to know) i have been playing at this field ever sence i started playing paintball, in fact it was the first place i played. and i still cant stand the place, the only reason i go there is becase its like less than a mile from my house, and most of the time i just go to get air and go back to my house... lets see where shall i begin? how about thier great refs! they sit around and do nothing! they are never around when you need a paintcheck, they are LAZZY and sit around complaning. i dont want to hear about how lllooonnggg you've been refing and how tierd you are... geezz i ref all day long at a youth camp in an open field on sand without an air-conditioned building tending to a bunch of noobs and i'm not lazzy or complane to people i dont know and i treat every one with respect, az's refs seem to be very rude to noobs, and they treat any one that doesnt use 500 dollar equipment like they're noobs and that they dont know crap. and they have no tolorence for people who dont know what they are doing... lets see whats next? did you know that when you buy paint, including there 2000rnds, its not the good kind and if you can buy the good kind they never told me. basicly you just paid 70 bucks for paint that costs 38 at thier store. i know thats not all that "bad" but to some parents and noobs that dont know any better get ripped off. next... you know how they are strictly rec. and how they say they dont let tourney players play against regulars ( if thats wrong then i shure wish they would take "Play is always kept at a Recreational level!  We do not allow tournament players to play with our recreational players so everybody has a good time, not just the experienced players." off thier website), and how they make it fun for all the regulars to play " its fun for every one"... bull! the only people its fun for is all the tourny players picking on the little kidds saying who lame they are and how many of them they shot... i have not been to a single game where they made the teams even remotely even... they always put renals and noobs on one side and exp. cocker types on the other... and of course the little kidds always get creamed. it realy descusts me too, seeing how those noobs are either getting influence by that crap or just not liking paintball because of them. thier fields are alright, some of them are set up really nicly, in fact i would give them an 8 for the fields, but when you throw in the bad service and how they have this suddle way of ripping you off ( kinda like when your almost out of gas and you have to buy it right off the hyway and its like realy exspensive...) the best field on earth wouldn't make up for it... also the last couple of times i've been there, there has been a safety issue, they didn't gather every one together and state the saftey rules, if they did i most sertanly did not see or hear it going on, and i am a sticklet for saftey so i was waiting for it... over all, a.z. is DEFFINETLY not what they make themselfs out to be. there are more things i would add but most of them are just personal opinions, these that i listed where also comments from friends that went too (there expirince was the same as mine).as a conclusion i dont recommend going there, but it wouldn't hurt to check them out, you might find things totaly different, because i have a habbit of having bad luck for going to places on the wrong days or something...

please dont call me a noob...

Dodge City, Oklahoma Indoor. AZ is the best outdoor field in Oklahoma.
Review: Adventure Zone is a top notch facility. With everything from Speedball to a huge Scenario Field/ Woods field. They have at least 2 speedball fields. One sup air, and one wooden bunker field as well as spools. In addition, AZ has a combination field which consists of dense woods interspursed with Speedball type bunkers. The Ridge field is a your traditional two fort match with a bridge in the middle. Very challenging as well is the scenario field with foxholes and mesh sniper bunkers set up arround a large area surrounded by trees. And, lastly, the Lost City field consists of cement bunkers and abandoned cars and barrells as well as other cover. It reminds me of escape from New York. In that game, one team sets up in the city and the other must Invade them and take the town.

Overall, AZ is the best outdoor field in Oklahoma. With excellent staff and very helpful refs. Any level of player will be comfortable at Adventure Zone.

Review: this is the best field ive ever been to in my 3 years of my life. the refs are fair and they're nice and wont laff at you for a stupid question like wuts co2 or wuts a squeegee. the courses are a blast! the ridge is good for capture the flag and the woods is good for doge ball. the speed ball fields are not bad ether. the spools are a good for taking steam out on some one and if you have x tra co2 than there's a target practice. i'd have to say this is a 12 but the scale doesn't go that high.

Review: I've been going to A.Z. for alittle over three years now and have been very imprest with the quality of the fields and knowledge of the staff. They are very helpfull and are willing to take the time to fix or answer questions about your markewr or other markers you might be thinking of purchasing. Games go by quickly and accuratly. The refs are almost always in the middle of the acton, sometimes getting shot up themselves, and are attentive to making fair calls and keeping play safe. I've been to all the other fields in this area and nothing against the others but I keep finding myself back at Adventure Zone. Great field keep upo the great work. Also I would like to thank personally the short bald guy from behind the counter for installing the new flat line and response trigger on my A-5, it rips man. He might be a touch off track, but very humerous and friendly.
