Bastion Paintball is a great field(s), they are constantly upgrading their fields and trying to make them better for the players. They have good prices, good rental equipment (Tippman 98's and V-Force Rental's) and they have great staff.
The Fields: Bastion has 4 Fields and they are building more as we speak, they have a JT Sup' Airball field, an Old School Speedball 'Tire' field, The Armegeddon Field, 2 Woodsball Fields, and they are planning on making one or two more. One of which is a Western Town Themed field.
JT SUP' Airball field: Well you know Airball right? Yeah, it's like that.
Tire Speedball field: This is basically a Speedball field with stacks about 7-8 large tires high. Great field.
Armegeddon Field: Awesome Field. Two massive oil drums at either side, old bus, old boat, a large antenna dish which makes for a COOL TRANSPARENT BUNKER, a shed, some other random shiz-nitz laying around, all around great field.
Woodsball: Im no fan of woodsball so I think is sux, but If i were a fan I would say that it was awesome.
Another good thing about Bastion is their store, it is based in Nanaimo on Bowen road. They have a large selection of equipment and are Mac Dev's official Canadian Supplier. The staf are awesome and always willing to help out. Keep up the good work. You get a 10!

I go to brandon for everything he has amazing service always has wicked stock in great guy and you can play with his team. Great place order here when ever possible. The store is clean and has so many mac dev cyborgs u would thinky you where in heaven. Noodle and brandon work the store and both know there gun stuff and will help you out with everything. Ive played at this feild for about 1 year now. Just recently they have added a new air bunker field where the tires used to be. The new air bunker field is ALOT better than the old Tire field and is set up nicely. VERY good staff and a nice area to play, the rec field with the bus is also very cool with plenty of bunkers to hide in.If you havent checked this field out do it! |

This is a pretty good field. There are 4 fields now. speedball, woods, air and armagedon.
speedball- an ok field, but every field needs something like this for tourneys so its good.Small, tire bunkers make it a shoot shoot shoot game
woods- this sucks. So close together and too bushy. no good bunkers. Except one spot.
horrible
air- I haven't played on this yet but you can see it on there web site www.bastionpaintball.com
ARMAGEDON-freaking awesome. Bus in the middle makes it awesome with sweet bunkers on side. good for 10 v 10. nice obstacles my fav.
Parking is good but located in between twi fields.

I was invited over for a big game and tourny last year.
I had a blast at the field found the refs to be fair and involved in the big game. All the renters and newbies had a blast and the party after the game was fun. The tire speedball field is challeing and good for 3 on 3. Armagedon field is well layed out with cool obsitcals and atmosphear. The wooded field is in a word small not much cover but maby they have changed things since I was there last.
The tourny was well ran with good teams and decent prizes. |

not the best, pretty muddy, but it should inprove over time with hope. the one rec feild is pretty dangerous, but there is alot of parking. they need a bigger stagin area for the customers to stay dry if needed. and the area is really flat so I bet it will be good some day hope it sooner that later. |

This field is awesome, with two concept fields and two speedball fields, this is definatley one of the top iof not the top field on the island, Refs are friendly and knowledgeable and the fields are in pretty good condition, If your looking to have a good time paintballing on the island, this is the place you want to go. |

This has to be one of the best fields on the island and when the air ball field arrives it will be the best. The Speedball field presently there is the best I have played on. It is laid out nicely, fair for each side and allows for a variety of different play. The Armageddon field is unmatched anywhere on the island, who else has a school bus to shoot at, heck you can even get inside it? The Armageddon field makes for very interesting games for young an old. The woods field is on its way to being very challenging for those that enjoy a good day in the woods. Over all this field is a must to play, if you don’t your truly missing out. |
