Review: My husband and I are still fairley new at paintball. The first time we ever played at Outlaw was deffinitaly a learning experience. I have to say for the 4 or so hours that we were there I got bunkered quite a few times. i got shot in the top of the head and yes, lost some blood. I told my husband that I would never be caught dead in the place again. But the following week he wanted to go back. I will be honest, I walked in the place just looking for the kid that decided to shoot the crap out of me. As soon as we walked in the owner Jim yelled "HI Missy Hi Steve"! and i was impressed... he remembered our names! We started putting our gear on and got our markers ready and out on the field we went. This time was TOTALLY different. I actually had a great time! The people we so friendly and gave us pointers and showed us how to shoot differently. They are very outgoing and really excited to see new players. I'm proud to say that because of my new "paintball family" we came in 5th in the 3 man tournament this past week, and we are now apart of the team. I love you guys alot and thank you so much to everyone that didnt go easy on me becuase I am a girl!

If you are a beginner, a rookie, semi-pro, or whatever, you need to come check out Outlaw Paintball in Manheim. They are all their to help you learn, teach you new things, and are up for any challenges. They are a great group of people.

My only suggestion would be that if you go to Outlaw and buy the peanuts that they sell, dont throw the shells on the floor. They get stuck on the bottom of your shoes and that kind of sucks.

P.S. I never did see that kid that shot me on the top of the head again. However if I do.... Just Kidding!

I have played at Robinhood paintball field, and on backyard fields that included hyperball and woodsball. This field is amazing for only being a medium sized airball field. The huge X in the center is great and makes you feel like a pro. The carpet was soft enough to slide on, but slick enough to superman dive without breaking anything. The bunkers were alwayssss inflated to maximum capacity and there were enough in strategic locations to help your team have an advantage if they played their cards right.
Directions
to the Field:
Go North from route 1 (Maryland) and head to Manheim. The field was not very hard to get to, but took about an hour and a half from Harford county.
Review: So, although the ride took a while, it was well worth it. My team and I were travelling to Outlaw in order to play in a 3 man tournament for the first time. WE had never played together as a team, but the prize was cash and we were willing to get the experience under our belts. It was only 60 dollars per team, that's 20 bucks a person and the Nightmare cases we bought for 50 bucks a piece were excellent. The facility was good and had plenty of room for the 15 teams that were there. The bathroom facility was very clean and I never had to wait to get into it.

There was also food, homemade, that looked great although I didn't purchase any. Also, there were fast-food places only around the corner and a beverage machine in the shop. One thing I liked was the fact you could refill your own air all day without someone watching over you. The field played at 260 fps since we were allowed to bunker and the chronograph worked great. As stated before, the field was awesome and was fun to play on every time.

My ONLY complaint, although it bothers me, is that 99% of the teams were beginners/amateur players who had only played in a handful of tournaments. Then, there was one team with several players from D2/D3 teams. As you could imagine, they won EVERY game they played and most of the time didn't even lose one player. I wasn't expecting anyone to be that experienced there but their games only lasted approximately 45 seconds and everyone on the opposing team was out. They ended up winning the whole thing and winning 400 dollars from the deal. I don't like the fact that Outlaw hosts an indoor airball tournament that is geared towards beginners, but allows D2/D3 players to play. After winning 8 straight games in a combined 6 minutes, I would think that the owner would realize what was going on, especially since HE PREVIOUSLY KNEW that the players were ranked D2/D3. Hopefully, next time, this won't occur, and the other teams that come won't just HAND their money to the semi-pro team that won anyways.

Review: I went on a Friday night and it was decently crowded seeing as it was a rainy night.

Prices-
It cost me $65 to play for the night. $15 for field and air fees and $50 for a case of Diablo Nightmare field paint. For $50 the paint was better then i expected; nice round and cosisent w/ a good shell.

Safety-
This is one of the big issues I had w/ this field and is the one of the reasons I dont play there often. It all started with the owner, Jim, not asking me if I had a Liablity waiver filled out when I payed. Big no no seeing as I havent played there since Mike sold it to Jim. Also there chrono was broken so it was just a keep your velocity where its at and your good.

Thoughout the staging area there were some players without barrel blockers on granted most didnt have tanks on but still you should have your barrel covered/plugged. So I ask one player to put his condom on and get a "No, why should I?" reply. This is just what Jim doesnt need is someone getting hurt.

While waiting on the field for the ref to split teams up the one ref tells us that we can take off our masks while we are waiting for more players to get ready. Once again Im just thinking that this isnt to smart, the former NPPL player in me is just like "Ok why do you take your mask off on the field it shouldnt matter if there is a game going on or not?" I was on the farside testing my cocker and the other team didnt have there masks on, so I had to single the ref and other team that we are "live", so to say, and ready to play.

Regulars-
The regular players were hit or miss, some were freindly and outgoing to play w/ others; some are just arrogant and bash your gun becuase they are shooting an egoX/DMx. Granted though Im used to being looked down upon for using a cocker (I had 4 cockers w/ me that day) so it didnt bother me.

Field-
The downfall to Outlaw is that they only have a single field. I had to tell the refs to keep the total number of player per game down to 5max per team because playing 10man on a 3man field isnt any fun. They got games turned over pretty fast and tryed to clean up the turf every other game.

Food-
I miss that Mike would order pizza and the cooler of turkey hill drinks.

Conclusion-
All and all Its not a place I would play at every week but it is a good friendly field. I just will suggest that you make sure your gun is chrono'd at a reasonable FPS before hand and ask for a wiaver. I give it an 7 due to the compation was good and worth my money but the safety wasnt up to par for me

Review: Safety: The owner of Outlaw is very strict on safety at his field, him and all the employees constantly tell you to have your mask on and your barrel sock on. They have some pretty lame rules when it comes to actually being on the field, like the 15 foot rule and the 260 fps velocity rate. They are a really safe team and want everybody to enjoy the game, so i give them a 9/10 on safety

Field: Even though it is only one field that is fairly small, it is still a really nice field. They clean the field whenever there isnt a game going on, so it keeps the ground pretty nice and you dont slip at all. The bunkers there are pretty nice also, except they dont have them all of them tied down, so if you slide into some of them they will move. The field is a really nice field, except for the size. 8/10 on the field.

Prices: The place is fairly average on pricing, its $50 a case (2000), and $17 dollars a bag (500). The field fee and air fee is really nice too, but the rental price is amazing only $10 for everything you need if you are renting. The bad pricing at Outlaw is batteries and any supplies you need to buy at the field. I give them an 8/10 on pricing.

Staff/ Refs: The refs are really good here, they are willing to make paint checks, and they see EVERYTHING that is going on on the field. They usually have 2 or 3 refs on the field at one time, so you are guarenteed a fair time on the field. The staff off of the field is also really good, they are very helpful when you need help with equipment, and the owner is a very nice guy, and will help you with anything you need.

I would recommend Outlaw to anybody who wants to go out and have a good time playing, or anybody that needs a place for their team to practice. Outlaw is now one of my favorite fields to play at.

Review: To kick things off, I hen't been paintballing long enough, but by far this kicks the snot out of Ambush Paintball.

Safety: The refs are really up tight about safety. A kid on my team one time took off his helmet on the field before we even started and the ref came and quickly gave him a warning and told him that if he did it a couple more times, he'd be thrown out. They make you put on your barrel plug/condom everytime you step off the field, they're concerned about shooting someone. And, you must always make sure you have your safety on.

Fields: The field (the one i did) was a speed ball field. It was any normal size indoor field. The bunkers are good, and sometimes if you ask specificly they'll change the field around for you. It's not tight, it's comfortable for me.

Prices: I haven't payed for anything except for paint there, the paint was pretty expensive. The bag I got was about $50.00. But you get a 500 round bag along with other things if you pay $25.00.

Staff: The staff was really cool, I talked to a couple of them and they seemed really nice. They gave me some tips such and such.

Refs: (Described in safety)

Conclusion: I love this field and I recommend it.

Review: Firts off this is the only field i go to and it is really really good. There is only one speedball field but there is alwies a game going and you can get a lot of play time in. The price has gone up a little since the last owner Mike owned it ex. price for white box was 40 now its 45 not much difference. It is also alot cleaner than when mike owned it. They now stress that you are not permitted to break paintballs or throw them around outside of the field. They are really cheap i think b/c its 10-field fee and 5-air or they have a deal where you can get a bag of paint, air, and field fee for only 25 dollars. They have a crono set up and stress that your veloctiy be under 160fps. All the ref's know what they are doing and are good at reffing. They stress wearing your goggles on the field and jump on you if you don't they also do the same thing with barrel condoms. The field is on the smaller side which means you have to be extra tight, fast, and alert when playing. The games go fast (usually). Some games i play go for a min. others last along time. There proshop is about 20min. away from the field and the people that work there usually offer good adives in terms of what to get and what would work good with the gear you have. Most players that go there are pretty good. Most of them have at least a shocker NXT or an EGO. I usually go once a week and I see most of the people there that I see there every week but everyone is willing to give you advise on the field and off. They even help you out with your gun problems. My Virtue Board wasn't working for some reason and it still isn't but i basically had the whole place helping me out. Over all i love this place and this is gona be my home field for as long as im living in lititz or in the area.

Review: One of my first times playing paintball at a speedball field was when I played at outlaw. At first I was a little skeptical. I wasn't sure if the fast-pace action and (not to mention pricey) ways of speedball were rite for me and my 98 custom. But outlaw opened new doors for me!! First off, out law is in a sweet old abandoned ware-house in Manheim. It is really nice in the snowy times of the year because they run the heat and you end up in a t-shirt by the end of the night. The place pretty much runs itself. You walk in, pay, and set up on one of the many tables in the place. Prices are very good too. $45 for a case of White Box paint, and $60 for a case of Origin. You can do a $25 dollar deal where you get field fee, air, and 500 rounds of paint. They are under new ownership and the guy that owns it now is pretty cool. If you're lucky, he hands cards that cover the $25 deal. They also (I think they still do this) let you help out reffing for the night and can earn yourself free field, air, and 500 balls!

OVERALL.....

Price- CHEAP! I usually dont spend more than 50 a night!!

The Field- There is one speedball field consisting of a snake, doritos, tombestones, cans, and a couple other bunkers. It's 125 feet by 80 feet. The great part is it's covered with padded turf!! Though there is only one speedball field, the refs keep the games moving quickly and its easy to get 10 games in about an hour.

Safety- The people there are always on your case about safety's, barrel condoms, keeping your mask on, chronographing, and ONLY SHOOTING FIELD PAINT! All of which is a good thing!

Other Players- Now, im not a regular but whenever I go there is usually a couple of speedball guys that go every week. They're pretty cool. Usually, they set up there own games and unless you want to get a game with them, they leave you alone. But sometimes they play "Gettysburg" where they don't use a hopper and only put one ball in at a time. Its fun and they really help out your team.

Services- They employ people who play and know about paintball. Almost any problem you have they can help you with. They don't have a fully stocked proshop but the carry the necessities. Battery's, o-rings, lube, ect.

FOOD!!- This is where outlaw rocks!! They always order pizza's and have snacks and drinks in the back. Its all cheap and tasty. Plus the have a place to sit and eat and watch the game through a HUGE glass window. Its SWEET, you can see the balls flying at the window and they clean it every other game or so.

In conclusion, I have been converted. Got me a cyclone, E-grip with a WAS board, 16" J&J for my 98 and now im lovin' speedball!!

Review: Was a good place to play for ahwile, and then the new owners took over, and raised the prices. Not a big deal, but now on sunday we cant play there because we are always broke. The old owner let us play for $10 every day, and now i think its like $25 to play plus its NOT byop. We are not paying $50-60 a case of paint every sunday. So I guess we will find a different field for practice....

Review: I love outlaw!!! I love the atmosphere there, it is a great place to play. I went to their special friday night free play and I had a lot of fun. A wide variety of skill levels, ranging from just beginners to amateur class kids. The price is unbeatable I think; $25 for field fee, air, and a 500 bag of balls. I am on the Penn State JV paintball team, so our team practices there because we won a tourny in early December and we fell in love with the place. Saftey is good, everyone is smart enough to wear a mask when they enter and to all chrono. There is only one indoor field, but there is turf and has a nice set up w/ a "X" in the middle of it. I cant argue with the prices, they are one of the cheapest i have seen. They have a few things at the shop at the field, but I heard they have a proshop down the street that I have never been to. The staff is great, the owner is very nice and the refs give you great advice and really want to see you succeed. They have tables and benches there for you to do you prep stuff, and they have little booths next to the glass so people can chill and watch you play. They have some food, mainly the old hot dogs and drinks, but its still something, there is a Mcdonalds up the road anyways. I love Outlaw.

Review: Outlaw is the best! it has just come under new ownership, but mike the old field owner was great. The rules have to be followed which is important. If you walk out of the field without your barrel condom on they flip s***. They are always so careful that your gun is chronoed 260 fps and under, aand that you dont lift your mask on the field and stuff like that. Stupid asses not allowed.

the players range from birthday party kids, who all try to gather behind one bunker, to the best of players.

There is only one field but its awesome . Perfect for anyone who loves to play speedball.
The field setup is amazing. right now they have a huge x at the fifty, and great snakes, doritos, tombstones, knuckles, and cans. It has awesome astro turf, and it gets oily and is perfect for sliding.

The price is now 25.00 for field fee, 500 paint, and all night air fills. Cases of paint are 40 or 45 for the white-box, and 60 for origin, and airtank rentals are 2 bucks. Its open from 6 to 10 on fridays and 5 to 9 on saturdays. Mike orders pizzas 1 or 2 times a night. 10 bucks for a large and 1.50 for a slice.

They very recently opened a proshop which is best to go to on saturday afternoons because of more staff being there. They range anywhere from tippman 98s to ions, to high end guns. They carry loads of upgrades, clothing, accesories, paint, loaders and even airsoft guns. Its great and very convient.

The only flaw i have with outlaw is the bathroom. It looks like the movie saw took place in there.

The staff is normally nice, refs are always very fair and divide the teams well, (usually : ) and are always trying to give great advice.

They also have tournaments every now and again for anyone who wants to play!

i started at this field, with my little spyder rodeo, and play on it now with my ion with a virtue board, and other upgrades.
This is a great field and i highly reccomend it to anyone who loves to play speed ball, hang out with their friends, watch paintball and eat pizza. for all of the above and because i love outlaw i give it a 10 out of 10!!!!!!!!

Cheaters not allowed and noobs welcome .........

Play hard and play paintball
