Atomic Small but friendly
Wacky Going downhill fast
A small group of us decided to give top dog a try as it is the closest to our homes, luckily there was another group there as it brought total players up to 11 (5 us 6 them).
Games did run fairly fast HOWEVER in one of our last games when it was down to 3 on 1 in woodsball the ref, who sat on a barrel in the shade the whole time, decided it was going too slow and WALKED OFF the field. 2 of the players still out there were 1st timers and only 11 & 12 years old. I took over refing but needless to say the ref did not get a tip for his services. We may try them again but I'd watch the ref.
Wacky Warriors.... I hear it's lame.
Atomic.... Never been to it.
Bushwackers.... never been to it.
Bing shop..... Jeff is the coolest.
Gateway... never been to it.
Directions to the Field:
Take Highway 47, then go down South Lindsey Rd. it's like 1/2 a mile down the road on the left. I used to live near it on Ackerman Ct.
Safety is the number 1 priority there. I kept on hearing "barrel plug" and "mask" ALL the time. Which is a good thing, because paint flying at you at 200 mph at your head without a mask could really screw up your day. The fields are really good. Speedball is ok, not my personal favorite, and don't call me a baby, but when I got out on the field, I yelled out but not everybody heard me and so I stood up and turned around and then I felt 3 stings in my back. I actually ran a tear but when I got out of the field I wiped it off, smiled and moved on. Woodsball I like because it's so fast paced and when I was out there I actually felt like I was in a real war. There was me and three other guys and we were in this trench, and one of them said, ok you first, and guess what...... I was first.... what rotten luck. So I moved up and peeked my head out. Next thing I know 20 paintballs were flying at me from all around. Urban assault was amazing.... best field out of the three. I was in one of the bunkers with my 2 friends and it was sooooo noisy. They were trying to think of a plan and when they executed it I got to lay down suppresive fire for them. :) Also, one time I was behind this wall, trying to think of what to do while I was reloading, and this one guy came around and yelled "freeze!" and I put my hands up and was so terrified I didn't know what to do and I called myself out.
Let's see..... hours of operations.... Saturday and Sunday 10 to 4.... and weekdays are open on reservation with groups of 10 or more. Prices aren't too bad. If you have your own equipment, it's $15 for all day play and air which isn't too bad. Plus you get to bring your own paint. If you rent their equipment it's $20 which includes air and play, but you have to buy their paint. Their paint varies from $20 to $50. Rules are basically common sense courtesy and respect rules. I'm not sure if they have repairing services or not. Last time I went there they didn't. I hear they have a proshop called Elite Paintball. Really Haven't checked it out. The staff and refs are quite friendly. They get you into and out of games quick and are all out nice. The refs don't even mind getting hit on accident. For facilities, they have some tables with umbrellas and a campfire and haybales. I really don't know about food, but all I got there was a Mountain Dew.
Topdog is like heaven for me. It's my first place I ever went to and I loved it. Infact I actually would like to get a team sponsorship there someday. I give it a 9/10 because hey, not everything's perfect.

Take Hwy 40/61 towards Troy missouri. Get off at Highway 47 and take a right follow Highway 47 and make a left onto south lindsey rd. Top Dog is about a mile down on the left.
Top Dog is a fun place to play and a well run field. The refs are very good about being ready to start another game as soon as a group is ready. The refs will let you play any type of game you wish and are very good about hustling to do paint checks and helping new players be safe and understand the game. Safety is very important at top dog. The owners are very generous with loaning out their equipment and allowing players to shoot whatever paint they wish even through the rental guns.
Drop Zone-KC- it sucked cause if you didnt go there every weekend you didnt matter
This has been the absolute best field i have ever been to. the other one that i have been to was to pricey and it didnt really have a lot of time to play. Top Dog you will play at least every 5-10 mins, depends on how many people are there. the refs are fair and they do NOT tolerate cheating, overshooting, and shooting hot. if you dont follow these rules you will not be able to play. they make the game fun and fair. it is a very strong 10 in my books
wacky- refs suck, very disorganized, not very player friendly
battle creek- WAAAYY to overpriced, fields are okay
this place is like a dream, everyone here is helpful. the refs pay attention and they wont hesitate to take a few hits in order to paint check someone.
Plenty of people there that know what they are doing, team elite supply has all that anyone needs, the owners will help you out if your marker is malfunctioning.Ive never had any real problems with players or refs on the field. everyone has a good attitude.
Whether your a newbie or an experienced player this place should appeal to you. there fields could be alittle better but they suit my needs just fine. they have everything from fast paced speedball, a castle assault, woodsball, and my personal favorite Urban.
speedball is one of the smaller courses with lots of barrels and crates and such. plenty of places to hide, and get shot, lots of angles. there's a snake that runs about 80% of the length of the field BUT its not so tall so that you could waltz right to the other side.
Castle assault is one of their newer fields. I personally don't like it because the castle is just more of a wall with a doorway in the middle. the closer you get to the "castle" its gets harder to move up because there isn't that many obstacles to hide behind . i think this game tends to favor the defenders alittle more than the attackers but its still a fun game.
URBAN...i love this field. its probably the biggest field they have and is a game of angles. they have a wide variety of cover on the field, houses that aren't fully enclosed, spindles, boxes, etc. alot of people complain about how much paint there go through but ive made it through a game without using hopper ANd managed to get 3 out of the 7 people on there team out. My best advice for this field is to make it as far as you can on the break and pray to god that no one on the other team manages to get behind you.
woods. i haven't played on this field as much as the others. the shape of the field is kinda odd shaped and its hard to know where the enemy is. not really my cup of tea but its still there.
airball field will come shortly. they had one a few months ago but since they put in the castle assualt they gotta make some more room for the airball again.
gateway...gateway is good, but the sometimes the refs are lazy ..don't hardly paint check
Top dog is great..refs are great and their very helpful with equipment malfunctions.Pat,the owner helped me with my gun for about 15 minutes.went and let me borrow new springs and the whole works.I would highly recommend this park to anyone...Gateway is good but this park they really take care of you ..go there
Wow. Thats all I really have to say. These people are very into customer service. Their are so many things I liked about this place. First off their prices are very good ($50 for a case, tell me where you can find any other field that can match that). When you first go their you have to sign a wavier, but once you sign it you never have to fill it out again, all you have to do is sign your name and pay and your done. You also only have to go through the orientation once then you never have to again. These are great ideas that save people a lot of time. They also have a lot of room to set up. When we were setting up the owner came up to us with a bunch of polls and said "If ya'll don't mind, Im gonna give ya a little shade", he put up our own tent to block the sun! Before I even played a game I thought the place was the best Iv been too. It is also the most organized parks I have ever been to, you are never more that 20 feet from a field in any directions, so you get to play a lot of games (the only field not 20 feet away is in the woods, but who cares). The courses' are great, the refs are great and fair, there are usually 2 refs to a game so the catch a lot all of it. The place is also strict on cheaters, which is good. Everyone should come their to play once, I know I will come back many many more times.
Go to Top Dog, it is the best place to play around. and now they have an air ball field including speedball, urban, and woods. the refs are as fair as possible they keep the cheating to a minimum. it is by far the best field in the area!
it doesn't matter how much experience you have there will always be a open play game for you.
Top Dog is the second field I played at unfortunately Wacky Warrior's was my first. Last time I was there they had 3 fields. ( Speedball, Urban, and Woodsball) Most of the people that play every weekend at Top Dog are great. There staff is awesome and the refs dont hestitate to run out in the middle of fire for a paint check and they will kick you out of a game if they catch you wiping. You can choose if you want to play open play with beginers or tourny players. Great fields, great staff check it out you'll have fun.
The one time that i played at top dog was my first time paintballing and I really enjoyed it alot, the refs knew what they were doing and watched closly for cheaters.
They keep the field up nicely an they spread mulch freaquently.
I think I would give it a 9 because the only thing I didn't like was the refs sat around to long before they started anouther game thus leaving us that much less time to play.
