A good place to play!
Troy runs a quality operation - he has always been a pleasure to work with and very fair in his prices for goods and services.
The rest of the staff is also of high quality - most of the refs run very good games. The young teenage kid out there is not a very good ref - but thankfully he is not there too much.
They are always improving the fields to benefit safety and the quality of games. The most recent forts built on the scenario field have been great.
The woods ball field is excellent with a few trails and all sorts of places to snipe from (if you are a camper) or if you like to get up and walk around - it is good for that too.
The current speedball field is OK....some debris out there that concerns me - but this field is temporary...I'm sure they'll have a nice new speed ball field online soon.
Troy upgraded his rental guns recently - they rentals are nice! The prices for paint and Air/CO2 are fair I believe....The field fee is nominal if you bring all your own stuff (like I do).
They run a nice operation without being little 'field nazis' either....Troy and his guys always run a safety class with the younger players and any noobs that show up....they treat you like an adult and let you play and have some fun!!

Played today at pbb. for the first time the staff was friendly and willing to help if I had a problem I will most certainly will be back to play another day. Price for playing on field was ok. Troy kept the games moving and organized. They sold water and gatoraid for a reasonable price I believe that all prices were fare |

I played paintball for the first time about 2 1/2 months ago and got hooked. The first time I went here with a large group of friends some with experience some without. The staff there was very helpfull with the equipment and some helpfull hints on game play. They have 3 fields, a small but very fun speedball course, a great woodsball course and a senorio field that only had 2 small bunkers and 1 large one in the middle that was pretty poorly built I must say, but the owner Troy said there were some people working on the fields and to come back and check it out. after spending the day with my friends and family and getting all shot up I was comming back soon for more.
I returned back several weeks later, probably a month I guess, and was completely surprised at the course. The senorio field had grown greatly with several new bunkers and alot of great cover to make the play extremely better. Now playing capture the flag is a true challenge and a great time. Troy the owner said there is even more to come. They are building a 4th course that is under constrution that will be a full size speedball course, I cant wait..
As for the reffs and workers there, I can say they have been better then the few other course I have checked out. Any questions or problems they were right there taking care of it. And they have a tech onsite that fixed my sons paintball gun at no charge. I have to rent my equipment and they rent electronic guns that shoot very fast which made my paintball experience a blast.
Thanks for the great times Painball Bothers and I cant wait to see the great changes on the next trip out.

First time out Paintballing. Had no idea what I was doing at first. Had no expectations either. I was on borrowed equippment from a buddy and really had no clue how to maximize the features or the courses.
When you first pull in you can tell that the venue is under development. You arrive in the staging area between all of the fields where there is a large house and a Travel Trailer/concession stand on the left and another smaller equipment trailer for AIR/BALLS and Rentals. They have a nice selection of rental equipment and they also have a pretty good stock of new and used parts for you in a pinch. They have Compressed Air and CO2.
They have 3 courses set up. #1 is a Speedball course fully netted in with numerous bunkers and Trees for cover. This was my first experience. I had a blast. I was using a Tippman A5 with a stock and scope and did just fine against the quicker Etrigger players. After my first Kill I was hooked.
The #2 course is a straight woods course with tight animal trails, a creekbed and a fire road intersecting the two halves that allow for some killer ambush zones. I hooked up with one of the younger kids playing and took his lead. This was a good idea. I learned a lot from him in just a few minutes. After sniping several guy out and triangulating our position I finally got tagged but in sacrificing myself I allowed my team mate to take him down and take the position. Heck Yeah!
The #3 course is the bad boy Woods course with a small fort at each end and a larger one in the middle. The forts are makeshift for now but you can see the concept is in progress. I found this field to be a lot of fun too and my equipment really came in handy here. We played several games on this course. Capture the fort, Last Team standing and full on assault.
All in all I was impressed. The course staff was limited but in a pinch several of the regular customers stepped up to help cover officiating and equipment servicing. The staff is very helpful and don't scoff at the newbies like me for being ignorrant of the sport and the field etiquite.
The only critisism I can offer is to have field fees and service fees posted for all to see including employees and work to better maximise the parking situation. As our day went on the parking got very backed up. Otherwise keep up the good work.
And Special Thanks to Troy the owner for the follow up and attention with my questions. |

My team and I played there on the 27th of Jan. at a scenario game run by NAWL and advertised as being on the Paintball Brothers fields. Whether or not they are no longer used, their field was advertised as the playing area and I would assume under approval from the owner/operator.
Fields -
Now, I have been contacted by the owner (hence the rewrite of this review), who insists he no longer uses this field anymore. Considering it did not look like anything but cattle had been on it for the past couple of months and he is currently advertising to find new property, I'm inclined to agree. Still, his field name and the fact it was his former field, were being promoted as the playing field for this scenario. That and the online advertisement for new property did not commence until after the event.
Not good at all. Driving up, you went through 2 gates...into a cow pasture. Under high powered electrical lines. You know, the 3-story, all metal, give you cancer kind. Thats where the staging area was located. Off to one side, through more gates was the actual playing field. Also, a cow pasture. Luckily the cows had been moved.
No safety nets at all, except a torn apart speed ball field in the staging area, with no bunkers and only a few poles with netting hanging off of it. The actual playing field had a coupla nice building-style bunkers in it (5), random lengths of pipe were laid out in the more open areas with no regard to firing lanes, and not large enough for the amount of people playing. It was only about a 4-6 acre woods field for 150+ people. You could stand in one base and lob balls into the base at the other end of the field.
Safety - Non Existent. No safety netting around anything. If the field was moving, thats probably why, however; in that case it should not have been used.
Facilities - No proshop, burgers, brats, snack food, drinks for sale, a small camping trailer for a building, port-a-potties on site. Camping was in the cow pasture. Watch where you step. Oh and a dead goat in one corner of the field.
They had air, C02, paint, thats about it.| Last edited on Thursday, February 1st, 2007 at 6:45 am PST |

This field is pretty good. They have a x-ball field that is as of now set up like in world cup and a woodsball course that is great. They definatly take safety seriously as far as masks on, barrel covers, and behavior. Their proshop is however a R.V. and they kept all their stuff lying around in there. However, they do have two trailers with more equipment. The owner can order just about everything you need if he dosen't have it. Sometimes we have an abundence of refs, and sometimes we have maybe one. It seems to differ because it's teenagers doing the job(not a bad thing). They do it right, but there sometimes arne't enough. We usually have about 10 people come out for x-ball on Sat. and usually a good deal of woodsballers. You shouldn't worry about that aspect of it.
Overall it's a good field. They have nice fields and it's always a big group of friends. Thats why I give it a 7. If it was anything like Pevs paintball, I would give it a ten.| Last edited on Saturday, December 23rd, 2006 at 8:02 am PST |

The field is from 05 Cup in Orlando, So the field is pretty new in that aspect. Last week we rearranged the field to match the Texas open 06. The new layout is sick. The prices are ok and the people are great. I would strongly encourage people to play here. |

Our team off of USS NITZE visited the old location back in June 05. We're all scenario players and had a great time on the one scenario field. Domination was the word of the day as we put a hurting and some Bonus Balls on some of these Florida guys. Were happy some woods-ball players were there as all you usually run into is air-ball players so a good mix of talent and people. Refs were decent, but no safety brief was given the day we played. The wide variety of paint and rental guns was a good change from other places I've visited. Overall a good experience, Can't report on the new field yet but plan on checking it out soon. |

let me start off by saying this is an excellent field. great staff, great players there, all around good time. this field has recently moved to a new location, so they have only 2 fields, 1 xball, and 1 woods. the xball field is by far the best field i have ever played on, and ive played on a lot of fields. the woods field, also is great, and will be even better when they build forts like they are now doing. the two things that really set this field apart from the others, in my opinion, is the owner, troy, and the refs. troy is the coolest guy. he is an excellent owner, as well as player. the refs did an outstanding job of keeping the games fair and safe. the refs were all just kids, but i guess someone is teaching them right, because they were some of the best at keeping the field safe. i guess that is why on the fields website, it says there have been no accidents since there opening in 1998. this is by far the best field in north Florida and i definitely plan on returning. |

I think this place is an awesome place to play. It was my first time there and I felt like I had been playing there forever. They make sure everyone is included and team you up by ability so that the teams are fair.
They have 2 fields set up right now the speed ball field is Awesome alot of fun and the woods ball field is coll because there is alot of brush when you are snipering and it is not all open it makes it more like real woodsball.
The refs are very helpful on the field and off, they were great about helping with gun problems and paint checks. They make sure no one is cheating.
The owner was very personable and actually plays (and he plays at the level of the people he is playing with) the price are very reasonable and they only use high end guns.
I would definatley come here again and would reccommend it to anyone. |
