Review: This field is in the middle of nowhere but that’s all right with me cause it is one of the best fields that I’ve been to in a long time the people there are very nice and the staff is absolutely amazing. We played about 25 game in the two sessions that I was there and they have great hours from 11AM to 6PM Sat and Sun. There prices are great $40 a case or $70 for two cases of OX Industries paintballs PYOP is $20 and all day air is $10 or $1.50 a grand they do not carry any Co2 but they rent HPA tanks there as well. This is also one of the states oldest paintball fields and safest don’t believe me just go there and see for your self. And rules are rules there all the same at every field and these guys do encourage safety so play nice. They also have a small pro shop on sight with people that are willing to help you with any problems that you might have. The reffs are great also very friendly and some of them play so they rotate who reffs cause these guys like to have fun too. They have a couple of port-o-potties on sight as well and usually around 1:30 to 2:00 PM some one will go get pizza or something and they also carry drinks there as well over all I give this field a 50 out of 10 but the highest I can give is a 10 out of 10 one of the best fields ever and well worth the 1 hour and 50 mins it took to get there I will defiantly be back. Well I went back JUNE 1st and this visit was as good as the last same great service and same great people to play with. They are now going to be open every other weekend unfortunately I think its cause they don’t get a big enough showing from week to week sad to hear but I think it’s a shame that you people aren’t showing up at this field. In my opinion this is one of the best overall fields I’ve ever been to I plan to make this place my field and hope more of you do the same. And the best part about this place is the regulars that play here and the prices are awesome and once again this is one of the oldest fields in Michigan please don’t let another field in Michigan die due to a bad economy go there and have a great time but most of all be safe. I had a great time and I know you would too. see you out there!

Review: This field is top notch. I've only played there one time, which was this last Sunday, and it Rocked! We were playing a Big game type format, and the play was intense. I will be back to play more this year. Word on Sunday was that they will be getting a X-ball field next year. I will for sure be back playing on that next year.

All in All this field gets an 8 to 9. The only thing I didn't like was there needs to be more buildings and bunkers in the woods. There was a lot, but there can always be more, well I think so anyway.

Review: Over all the field and the management is great. Fields are ever changing which makes it very challenging. The management is helpful and respectful of both new and old players. I would give it a 10 in the rating but nothing in this world is a perfect 10 (not even Bo Derek). So I rate it as a "9"
In reading further you will see some areas that do need help and if you read all comments, which I suggest you do, you will see that the Management is very interested in peoples comments and how to make things better at their field. That is a sign of good management. So over I suggest you come out and play the field you will have a good time.

First let me say that I have not been playing that long nor have I been to too many different fields. So I only have a few to base this on.
My first times at this field show a great need for organization, no refs on field, no refs to setup games. After waiting for sometime the groups just went off on our own. At one point we were told that we need a ref then 10 minutes later we were told by someone else working there that we did not. A group of regulars got all the refs (three) on the air ball field, 20 of us were left to fend for ourselves. We finally just set up our games and teams. This shows a lack of leadership.

I have joined a three man tournament at this field. This tournament was to have 10 3 man teams, at first only 5 teams were there and then one joined later. There was lack of leadership on this and organization on this also. No set start, break, number of games or end times. This makes it hard to plan you day. No set teams, a number of team members have jumped for one team to another, possible to make the best team to win it all. Don't know why this let to happen, you start a tournament with a team and that should be the team you go all the way with, not on this field. This is a large ever changing field which is great but the only thing is there are only two refs. There is no way that two refs can cover this field, they need to have four refs. Now they did have a third on one day but this ref was more interested in watching the games then being a ref. Now I understand that people have friendships but that should be turned off during a games if you are a ref. Out of the two regular refs one has been favoring some teams. this came to light the other day when a team was deducted a 1/2 point for the use of the "F" word. This happened after the player was out, hand in the air, gun down and another team member came around a bunker and lite the kid up with 7 shots to the face and chest. When a man is in that position you do not fire on him. Now the Ref did not even say anything to the player when he lit up the other one. We have been told no bonus balls are allowed. When questions about this I heard the ref tell one of their team members that is what happens when you play with electronic guns. That is BS

Until this day there was never a mention of penalties for fowl words. Then it was after 1/2 the day was gone. This was because a teams mom, dad and bother showed up. It was not the kid being there because we have had kids there ever time. I think if rules are going in place they need to have them in the captains meetings, which they no longer have. Organization is the key. They do not have it. When another team dropped the F bomb that player was removed from the games but no point was taken. We have one set of rules for some teams and another for others. Nice

Now the owner is a good guy and he is very helpful to new players. One of the refs is good and fair and tries. The second ref should not even be there, I have mentioned to the owner that some other team members are using the full auto on their guns and I even told this ref. His statement to me was "Yea but it is so hard to caught him" They know who it is, why is this allowed. So much for fair Refs.

I am sorry that in ripping on the ref I am making the field look bad but maybe something will be done about this ref.

Trust me I am not a sore loser, I just started playing and had not even a dream of winning anything. My team and I understood that we would be in last place, I just expected it to be fair, I know what world do I live in.

splat cat, way better than crossfire, it may only have one field but it beats crossfires, it is a speedball with airbunkers, prices are better refs are nice there are actually refs on hand everygame unlike crossfire, the owner is there all the time hes very nice and helps you as much as he can,
Review: Crossfire never has refs on the field, my friends dad slide into a air bunker and the 8 inch nail holding it down ripped open his shin muscles and tissue all the way to his bone he was taken away in a stretcher(splat cat uses plastic stakes). the bunkers are old and falling over and the field is in disrepair. they were rude to me and weren't very helpful.

Review: Well, as u can see from other reviews, this is a great field. I am a beginner in paintball and all of the staff are incredibly nice. If your experienced they even let you play without a referee(and sometimes the refs will even play with you). They Have 4 fields, which i believe are 1 Airball, 1 Woodball, 1 "Pipe"ball, and I believe there may be another Woodball.(i could be wrong on that)

The rental prices for guns are fair, along with HPA, but the GAP PAINT is a little overpriced for my tastes.

Also, my friends gun broke down, and they looked at it and replaced the broken o-rings for free.

Review: I played here quite a bit when I first started playing. The staff was quite rude and unhelpful. I've heard they changed management a couple times over the past couple years but I never saw a difference. I played here last a couple years ago in a tournament. After disagreeing with some calls the refs(and the kids girlfriend, lol) attacked us and literally wanted to fight one of our players. We had done nothing wrong and never disrespected them at all, just questioned some calls. And what topped it off was field owner at the time or who ever was running it did not say a word when we explained the situation. I thought this was quite a poor attitude and something I had not seen ever with someone running a business. So since that time I have not been back. I am curious to see if things have changed but very concerned they are no different.

Review: WOW what a great time. All the time.
These guys have it right. Several different fields. Air ball, Hyper ball, Woods ball.
Every body is willing to help out . The refs are always on top of the game and seem to like what they do imagine that!. Have a problem with your gun, not a problem , usually someone will help you get your rig going again. If you take the time to chat with someone you'll find almost every body is very freindly and willing to give you a few pointers. Pricing is fixed as advertised never a surprise . I can go on all day but really if your in the area or not , it's worth the time to give them a try. But prepare yourself your in for a day of great competition and most of all FUN. It's also a great place for the family. We really need to get this sport moving in michigan and this is the place to do it. All skill levels are welcomed at this park.
