head rush, Furry, hill top, boss ballers none as good as this one
Directions to the Field:
get on thirteen when you get to nyseg take a left go across the bridge and take a right fallow that road until you see wood road on the left turn onto wood road and just keep going straight throught all of the four ways it is right on the left
I think that the field safety is really good what makes it hard is the people that have never played before they get so excited they forget to stick on the barrel bags. The fields are bothe really nice the woods field has castles and alot of natural and man made bunkers in it. The speed ball field is nice it has a nice set up going with sup air bunkers and they recently expaned there field so yea its just nice. The owners are probably some of the most down to earth people there are which makes the day even better as apposed to head rush where the owner and the entire staff are rude and there prices peaked. They also make food hot dogs, hamburgers, and lots of drinks.
Safety was good, they were great about barrell plugs/condoms and made sure everyone had them on. one issue was that the netting for the speedball field wasnt high enough so one of my friends got hit while we were in the lounge area when we werent wearing our masks. Kinda freaky
Fields were good, the woodsball field was a lot of fun, lots of chances for great strategy work and teambuilding. Lots and lots of fun that field was.
Prices were fair, paintball is expensive, just deal with it. Paint was offered at a good price as well.
The people were nice, you could ask em for/about anything and they were willing to answer and help you out.
They cooked really nice hot dogs and hamburgers for a buck a piece, very nice place will go again, will reccommend
I went to this field today with some friends to play speed ball. The speed ball field was nice but a little crowed with more then 4 people. No one wiped any shots and the price of paint was really cheap only $55 for draxxus. Everyone was really nice and when paint was starting to get low people gave bags to other players. I will be going there again next week to play some woods ball.
overall this place is GREAT and a very clean place with affordable prices

This place currently has two fields -- a speedball arena and a woodsball field. They also have a bunch of unused land, but the owner told me recently that they probably weren't going to develop it any time soon. The speedball field is clean, with decent bunkers. Their website shows bunkers they're currently not using -- they have big grey cylindrical ones these days. The woodsball field is large enough for 20v20 or more -- often they play half-field with fewer players. They play various games: Standard, center flag (bring flag to enemy base), attack/defend castle, castle to castle (touch flag on other castle), and of course speedball. Reffing was good, though they often look at players that are hiding/sneaking... I guess it's just interest. They let you choose what you want to play when there's a small group. Rentals are Tipp 98's and Pirhanas (they use the 98's first), and paint was Blue Arc Charge at $50 a case, and I think Diablo Blaze for around $65. First I came with a 40 person group, everything went smoothly. Next time I came with around 6 people, and half of the rentals were misbehaving (stuttering mostly). Don't know the reason, but they gave a discount to one guy whose marker and replacement marker both acted up. This may have been an anomaly because the first time I came there weren't any malfunctions. Great place to play, fun all day. Recommended field.
ok, so, this field is amazing. i looked at it and thought "wow, wat a dump" but when i actually went onto the fields, i was impressed. I played speedball first, and the bunkers were actually clean (unlike headrush, where there is a coat of old paint). there is grass on the ground too. the woods field was nice, with all of the bunkers and stuff. the thing that really got me to like this field is the customer service. my gun broke down, and the guy took it all apart, and lubed the whole thing. Wen it still didn't work, he looked at the bolt, and found that the o-ring was stretched. he replaced it for two dollars. so i got my gun fixed for 2 dollars. another guy let my dad use his angel, which i thought was cool.
the prices are also very reasonable.
visit ithaca paintball as soon as you can,.

First off, this field is pretty decent right now and it's getting better. One thing that annoys me is that they always say that fields are coming for sure and then the fields never come. Hyperball... I see the pipes all over, lets get the damn things set up. They've been talking about an indoor field forever, they are finally getting the ball rolling (flying?) on this though, according to the ithaca journal article. The speakers that are wired up all over the complex is a nice touch. The spontaneous power outages that occur due to the generator running out of gas are a little annoying, but what can you do about that besides complain to the electric company to get some lines up there. A permanent port-a-jon would be nice. It's no biggie for us guys to go use a tree, but girls might have a harder time at that. Not to mention if good ol' #2 rears it's ugly head. The foot-long hot dogs are cool, as is the gatorade and soda. Sup air ball is plenty big for me. I have no experience with other (bigger) fields but I have a lot of fun in this one. Woods is very elaborately set up with castles and bunkers and stuff like that. Very fun. It's kinda annoying how the regulars sometimes decide that the safety rules don't apply to them. One volunteer/ref/regular hit me with what I was sure was a hot gun and when I questioned him he got angry and told me he'd prove me wrong, so we went to the chrono and guess what... 325fps. He then exclaimed that his guns never ran hot. He apologized to me 1000 times afterwards however and I'm sure he won't make that mistake again. One thing that happens that is bad for some workers, but funny to the rest of us is that the places where the workers park their cars gets bombarded with stray paintballs when they hit a certain air bunker just right. Perhaps this is a sign that maybe the entrance to the staging tents should be netted just in case a random stray gets past the netting on the field. I noticed that there are lights on the speedball field, yet I don't see anything advertised as far as night games. I don't know about anyone else, but Friday night games under the lights would be supda cool. Maybe they're for leagues or something.
None; played over a dozen fields in my life and would rank this field in the top 3.
We had a great day at Ithaca Paintball. The staff was super friendly, hard-core about chrono-ing and safety, and they were very hands-on. I've played local fields in CA, WA, NJ, NH, BC and NY. This is a great local field.
We played a mix of sup-air and woods. The woods field was pretty good, with lots of bunkers as well as good natural cover (those funny tree-shaped bunkers called "trees"). Sup air was good too.
Real 4500 PSI fills
Great customer service
Over the years Ithaca paintball has progressed greatly. The speedball feild is great and so is the woods. I feel that the safty could be a liltle bit better but nothing to worry about. The reffing has also been getting better. I have been reffing and playing at Ithaca Painball for three years and i woudnt go anywhere else.
