The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were better than most other places we have played. The fields were well done and over all we had a great time! We had a big group of people with a wide range of age, and we all had a blast! The staff was great at setting up and suggesting different games to keep us from getting bored. I'm sure we will be going back many more times!| Last edited on Friday, May 11th, 2007 at 8:39 am PST |

Broken Cookie Paintball is the best place to go play paint, first timers to old timers. These guys are the greatest!!! they will give you the shirt off there back if you needed it. The first time my friend went with me, I had been there afew times before. His marker broke the second game into the day. Alex took time out to help us (my friend & I) fix the marker. We asked Alex what we owe him for fixing it, he told us to go play so paint. From that day Broken Cookie Paintball is the only place I play paint. He has really good priceing on everything there. If they cant help you see how much fun paintballing can be there is no-one or place that can. |

Safety:
The field owner was on people pretty good to keep masks on as well as barrel plugs in the staging areas. Refs also were looking out as well.
Fields:
Not a bad setup for fields. Understanding that fields can be very expensive to build, the owner is adding as he gets the money to add. The hyperball field is nice and big, although it is quite open at this time.
Hours:
Field hours could be better. They are only open on Sundays, 11-6. I would think that Saturdays would be more busier then Sundays.
Rules:
They were basically the same as any other field.
Services:
The owner and staff were very nice, able and willing to help out anybody.
Proshop:
They had a sign posted of some stuff that they carried, but they were running things out of a shed so I didnt see too much of anything that was being sold.
Staff:
Friendly
Refs:
They were alright, alittle young, didnt get as involved as refs should, but not too bad.
Players:
Alot of beginners and walk ons.
The owner was a great guy. Talked to everyone in the staging area and was really helping people along to have minimal time between games. Not a bad place to ball at, anxious to see what all is done to the field as the spring and summer go on.

The action at broken cookie is amazing, Ive been playing paintball for about 7 years now & I havent found anywhere as fun or well taken care of to play yet. Prices are cheap $10 to get in & $10 for all day air any kind of air. You can bring paint in or buy there. You cant beat playing up to 7hours of paintball for only $20. Broken cookie is a great family place! & Im sure if needed the staff there & their sponcered team would give you the shirt off their backs. If something is wrong with your gun then they offer to help you fix it & etc. Its a great all around place & I look forward to playing there in the future. |

It is good paintball up there. Their open every sunday for paintball. I really have no complants about this field and their are good people up there. The refing is not bad. They have 2 fields or maybe 3 fields. They was building another field so i don't know if that one is complete or not. They have 1 air ball field. They have a big field full of tires and other things. One thing that is pretty cool in the big field is that they have a big tire snack in the feild! It is acturally pretty cheap up there they have worr games paint which is 35$(2000) a case. Only 10$ per bag for 500. They have a drink despenser up there for gatorade, water....etc. If you have any tanks then pay attention HPA is $1 per psi, so if you have a 3000 psi i tank like i do it will coast you $3.00 to fill it up. If you have co2 then it is $3 any size tank.
Good people good paintball go to Broken Cookie Paintball(bcp)

Bandit Paintball ~ Great Field Playing area. Level and grassy. Staff is so/so, George the owner is AMAZING at working on cockers and i love his pro shop setup. The open play days werent so good. No real organization of players. 5/10
RJ Performance - Rick, the owner is great. He will do what he can to hook you up - and for all your tech needs, this is the man. 9/10
The Bunker - The staff were top-rate. The refs are good players, although reffing at the bunker is kind of an oxymoron... due to the reballs. Playing ability- best in michigan IMO. Very professional setup and large size with lots of lighting. What an indoor should be. 10/10
Colors Paintball - The best experiance in paintball you can get. You dont have to have top of the line fields, or be a professional baller to respect your players. Rande, the owner - has to be the most respectful guy in paintball. You can have a tippman, a pump (which he actually plays with), an ego or a helicopter and he wouldnt care. Excellent Paint, excellent prices and VERY friendly staff.
various others who dont compare really or I havent played enough to comment on. |

** I am on the home / sponsored team ** My review will cover our committment to the player and paintball as a sport.
The Exeriance!
First off - Alex, and Team Who strive to make your paintball experiance a very enjoyable one as well as a learning experiance. We share what we know without worrying about if your a rookie or pro. We honestly dont care. We are very friendly and yes we will challenge you if that is what you want. The open play days are about you, not the home team. We are there on Sunday's to assist you in enjoying the game of paintball as you see fit.
Tournaments!
We will be running some easy 3 man tourneys and 5 man tourneys this season. We have a new field coming! Last year was the first stab at a large scale tourney. No one throws a tourney correctly the first time. You learn as you go along. The reffing will be more professional, the layout will be carefully thought out, more paint options for that price you want and cheap entry. What more can you ask for?
Team Who
BrokenCookie Paintball is the current home of Team Who. We are a team striving towards the prize. We arent the best team yet, and we dont back down from challenges. if you dont push yourself to do things, then how can you get any better? You Cant. In our efforts to become a succesful and more professional team, everyone is invited to come out during a Team practice and help us achieve our goals.
Safety
We hold paintball safety in the highest regard and NO ONE is above safety.
Our ratings speak for themselves. Come on out and enjoy a Broken Cookie experiance, and I promise that you wont be dissapointed!

Broken Cookie Paintball is the best field in central michigan. The staff there are friendly and always willing to help you out. It has a atmosphere where you would feel comfortable in. The staging area is well laid-out. It has a chronoing area for you to use and two fields for you to play on. There is a big field and an airball course so whatever style of paintball you play BCP has it. It is bring your own paint which is a plus because some fields have field paint only and jack up the prices. But they still have paint there to sell for regular prices. They have very quick airfills and fill rather Hpa or C02. The safety rules there are very enforced. Alex Drost, the owner, always make sure you have a barrel condom on your gun and mask on when you cross into the playing area. That should make any paintball player feel safe when they come out. So if you want to have a good time playing paintball for cheap...come out to Broken Cookie Paintball....you won't regret it!! |

Man what can I say more but: THIS FIELD IS AWESOME! I don't think I can think of any negatives about Broken Cookie Paintball. They have the friendliest staff, really cheap paint, and quick air fills. And the best thing about it is its not FPO. Weather you are playing paintball for the very first time, or you are a regular, BCP is the place for you! You do not have to be nervous about playing if you are new because they will treat you with respect either way. They have two very nice courses to play on. So now matter what you playing style is comeout to BCP and support paintball. I will guarantee you that you will not be disappointed about this feild. Its should really be call Best Choise Paintball. :D. |

Alex, for a young guy, has a good operation. I did a bachelor party for a friend and booked last minute. We had a private 9 person party. The beginners package is great. $30 per person which included rental gun, all day air, admission to the field for entire day, and 500 balls. Cases of paint are $35 after that. Since most of us had never played before, the guys helped us come up with different games. We came up with our own game at the end of the day, which they said has never been done before. We made the bachelor run through a paintball gauntlet without a gun from one end of the field to the other. The two sides of the gauntlet were about thirty feet from the center. Everyone gave it a shot after he went. Extreme pain and welts. We almost got one of the refs to go through it. You may call us idiots, but we had a lot of fun the entire day thanks to alex and his crew. |
