Review: I play on team Pandemonium that is the fields home team. Anyone who says we treat others with less respect is completly wrong. Anytime my teammates and I are there we try and give helpful hints to anyone who comes to the field. If they want us to play with them, we will, if they say they dont want us to, we dont... I myself have never been rude or ignorant to anyone who has come out to the field, we are all in this sport together, and need to help each other out as much as we can. Crate>(the owner) is an awsome guy who wants nothing more than to see everyone play paintball and have fun doing it. He tries to keep prices as cheap as possible, but because it is a smaller field, it is hard to compete with other fields for wholesale prices. Nobody lives at the out door field, the trailer is there simply for storage...The reason the airball field wasnt blown up for anyone in the past was because of vandals, it is not because the staff is lazy.

If the refs get lazy sometimes, so what? Everyone is human and it is just rec ball. Everyone is there to have fun and we like to let people play their game. We always try to make the right calls at all times... Operation paintball wants everyone to enjoy their paintball experience, period. We will do what we can to make sure this happens.

I have never heard Crate charging 50-60 dollars to tech a gun, the most i have heard him do it for was around 20, because he had to spend a lot of time on it. If any of the team is around, we can try and work on your gun if we think we can fix the problem, if we dont know the problem, we will sugest you send it to the place where you bought it or the manufacturer.

*quick plug* Operation Paintball will soon be a 4 star facility!!
we are currently flattening out ground to make room for more fields, a pro shop, and camp grounds! within the next year operation paintball will have a whole new look, so give it another chance if you can, you wont be sorry!

I hope this clears a fiew things up about Operation Paintball

Review: Operation Paintball is the man. The service is good (my gun didnt work and owner let me use rental for free). The service is not sophisticated and strict, but the people who work there act like your paintball buddies. The price is excellent. It's $10 to get in and $20 for paint, and i played for about 5 hours. 5 hrs of paintball at a professional field is worth it for $30. Ok, now the actual fields. There are four fields: the fence course (probably the least fun, paintballs go through cracks in the fences), the airball course (most fun, bunch of blown up bunkers), the mounds field (unique field made of big mounds of earth piled up to make a maze), and the woods course (woods). Sometimes the team, Pandemonium, is there to give u tips and hang out with. He doesnt make u play with them but why not? I think that this field is an excellent value for $30 for the whole day. That is why my rating is...

Review: I've played on every field this place offers and have had fun at each one... not because they were great, but because I went in after reading all the bad reviews of this place. I expected it to be worse, but was really surprised.

Indoor field = 6
Outdoor Air Ball = 8
Outdoor fence = 4

The Indoor Field:
There is room for improvement... lots. Don't play here, its small, a single floor with barrels, and a mess. I was at a party when I went here, so it didn't cost me anything, and it was fun playing with my friends... It was fun to play, but the field was not good.

Air Ball:
Play at the outdoor fields, you get two... air ball and fence. The air ball field is on a slant, so it gives height advantages in certain places (equal for both teams) adding more strategy to the game. The field creates alot of weird angles, adding to the fun. It is the best field they have and if played right, doesn't eat up your paint.

The Fence Field:
This field, you either like it or hate it... I hate it. It creates all one v one match ups and lends to no angles. Basically, you need to decide for yourself...

One last thing that is a real plus, the owner is the coolest guy ever... he makes the day more fun with his jokes and antics.

Review: Im pretty new to the sport. I cant say enough about the staff and kids that play for Operation Paintball. They are very very helpful and ready to answer any newbie question you may have. The owner is an all around great guy. People on these sites complain about the price of paint...I would say that this place one of the cheaper venues and they sell tourney grade paint. Ive had several great days of paintballing there and will continue to support Operation Paintball

Review: Service: horrible. The people that work there act like they are above you or something because they know they are one of the few fields in the area and you almost have to go there if you need repairs to your gun. The people there think they are good because they play in the amateur open wich is open to the public as long as you can pay the entry fee.

Atmosphere: just as bad. The field is in this old construction yard and there "pro shop" is a trailer where the people that work there live I guess. The paint they sell is bad and many breaks occur.

Fields: They have two equally bad fields. The first has a lot of white fence barracades. It sort of reminds me of my grandmas garden. The second field has moslty inflatable barracades and looks like it took about 15min to set up.

Price: Its something like $15 to get in and they make you buy their expensive paint. Once they get your money they pretty much ignore you for the rest of the day. Repair prices are also rediculous. I brought in the 2 Co2 tanks that had broken valves on them. I had already purchased new valves and I had them install the new valves on the tanks. I also had a leak on my bottom line that only needed re-taped and screwed on. This repair cost me $60.

I do not reccomend this field to anyone.

Review: Their fields are real fun but they have the worst service ive ever encountered in my life. The owner was a a55hole. My friends gun broke and he offered no help whatsoever. Then they made us play with these professional kids that would beat us every round in like 30 seconds. The ref's blew a55 they wouldnt even check for paint it was up to you to leave the field under fire when the ref should have let u out.

Review: First, I called ahead of time to figure out if they had any barrels or masks there to sell, and the guy said they had a bunch. When I get the there the guy was rude about it, and said they just sell minor parts there. So then there was a problem with my gun, and none of the staff would help with it. They just blew me off, and told me to go fix it myself with some stripped out keys. I had to use a friends back up gun that was really bad. We had about a group of 12 The referees were some young players, and had no idea what they were doing.

So the first field we played at was a fence field, it was alright, it reminded me alot like the field that friends and I have built. There were a ton of bunkers packed together in the middle, which everyone goes to. The second field was a dirt field, but just looked like field anyone could build in there backyard. The airball course was nothing special. The referees would end games early for no reason, just so they could take a break. They also wouldn't paint check, or yell at anyone when they were out. Some tournament local players decided to join us, and they ruined the fun.

urban assault is sorta close but it is still a drive to the middle of nowhere
Review: Well i really havent been to the outdoor feild but from what i hear it isnt really that great my advise would be to make the extra hour long drive to punishers paintball in pittsburgh. Uh lets see when i came in the first time my old old pirahna broke so instead of having me pay a rental fee the owner let me use his tricked out impulse"super props to that dude" although kinda chubby and really scarry looking he is really cool. While you arent playing just strike up a conversation with him and he'll give you some tips, advice, and jokes. So the management is really cool. On to the indoor field like somone said the lighting isnt that great so take out your tinted lenses. Also the floor is made of a smoothe concrete that you can slip and slide on rally easily. They have the airball course in the middle of the actual feild(by actual feild i mean barrels and tires) so sometimes they will say only airball or they might say the whole feild depending oon how many people are playing. The paint is Midknights and Kick'n which arent that bad but not really tournament grade. They do have a small shop that sells paintball stuff (i.e. markers , barrels, hoppers)the staging area isnt really great but its up there. Arive early so that you can get one of the tables in the room or else your sitting on the bench doing ajustments on the side of the room. (save me my seat right under the chrono) Great feild so bring some freinds.

Review: Went there once...wow the airballish field was ok but the wood bunkered field plainly sucks. I have been playing tournament paintball for 3 years now and this is one of the worst fields ive been to...The airball wasnt challenging...The Wall field was pathetic..But they do have a good staging area.

Review: lets start with their indoor field, its ok, airball, good size, but its pitch black and there is this little tunnel that goes along the whole side that people go in and end up gettin you from behind. their floor is concrete so it hurts like no other when you slide and you slip all over the place.
their outdoor field, woa, ok they say that they "have big plans for expanding" in other words, it sucks, for now they have a whole 2 fields, one is gigantic and its a mix of all different bunkers. the other is all fences that are tiny, their stageing area is pretty much the only good thing about it.
ill give their indoor a 6 and the outdoor a 3 so that rounds out to a 4.5, ill be nice and round up
