Harold there is the bomb he is a paintball wiz. anyway the feild is aweosme they have a woodsball, speedball, and can do all feild where it combines both feilds into one. refs dont really seem to care bout the crono but w/e. admission if you have a gun and paint is like $15 for all day , not bad. the refs need to inforce rules like my freind was shot about 10 times in the back and was saying he was out, but was still being shot. the kid who shot him didn't get a word said to him about it. paint there is spendy as expected, so bring your own. to rent everything with 500paint is 30 bucks pretty good. overall i reccomend this field. go out and try it sometime its a blast! |

This has to be the least expensive field in the world. It has a wood field, an airball field, and a woodsball field. On average there are about 30 people there a day, so you'll have company. The owner: harold kicks butt. What else can I say? He's gotta be the one of the nicest people in the world. Keep it up man. |

holy cow, i went to urban warfare yesterday and had the time of my life! $10.00 to get with my own paint, free water, $.50 pop, $1.00 sloppy joes, free Co2 and Compair, this place is beyond belief! The coolest thing is there was 3 field so you NEVER had to wait to play a game. the ref were awesome and actually knew how to play. And the best is yet to come. Two pro teams came and would play anybody that challeged them, so everybody on the field challenged them to a castle game 8 vs 36. We won haha.
Best place to go to and Harold, the owner is funny as hell and fixes any thing broken in about 2 mins. and knows everything about paintball.
edit

Great place. I for one had a blast. One phrase, woodsball meets speedball. It was a new experiance for me and Harold, the owner, is the man. He has lots to offer. HP, CO2, Food, Water, and Rental Equipment if you need with a variety of paint to choose from. The prices are nothing to complain about and you can bring your own paint if you want (don't bring the crap walmart paint, its not fun getting shot by those rocks). Also check out Ballbusters in Sioux Fall. Harold, you are doing a great job, keep it up and you have my support.

I highly recomend urban warfare. the staff is excellent espeically Harold. He has on many occasions helped me with my gun whether it be the addition of new ugprades or even when he sold me my EVO in the begininng. The field is sprayed for bugs, there is everythign you could want ina field at this location. It gives a very original feelign to it esepically with games such as "castle", etc.
If you are looking for woods ball this is a great choice. Speed ball is a good choice as well here. Only other field i raelly liked in regards to speedball was luverne's "aimless".

What to say about urban....This feild is such an awesome feild, im still trying to think of something bad about this feild. First of all a feild fee of $5 can you think of any better way to spend $5? The paint is so cheap but if u want to u can bring your own paint. The staff definatly knows what they are doing. The guy who owns urban also owns ball busters in sioux falls. So if something goes wrong on the feild he can just bring it back to his shop and u can pick it up later. Now there are so many stories i can tell about my time out there, but one of the best is what harold did for me, I did not have my own gun yet the first time i went out there, so i borrowed my friends victor II. we were just gettting ready to play the first game and i went over to check the velocity and the gun would only fire once and i would have to recock it. i brought it over to harold and told him what was wrong, he took a look at it and told me the problem. he didnt have the stuff on the feild to fix it so he gave me one of the rental tippman 98's at no cost. hows that for helping out a customer? the feild is great theres tons of obsticles and in good setup. there is a woods ball and a speed ball feild. fun games, perfect amount of people out there for a good game. i recomend this feild to anyone. |

Crossfire near Sioux Falls - Pretty good field, but not as fun as Urban Warfare |

I went out to Urban Warfare last weekend for the first time, and I have to say, it's one of the best paintball experiences I've had.
There were a lot of guys standing around between rounds when we walked up, and yet the staff still noticed that new people had showed up and came over and greeted us. They explained the rules to us quickly, took our $5 field fee, and then made sure our stuff was ready and we didn't have any problems. However, a couple of people on my team did have gun issues, and the staff went to great lengths to get them fixed up so that we could hop in the next game.
The rules were basic, but well enforced. The games went smoothly and I had an absolute blast.
The field is really nice, but for the most part, it's the people running a course that really make it fun or annoying, and the guys here at Urban Warfare (especially Harold who runs Ball Busters in Sioux Falls) are incredibly nice and helpful.
Me and my team will be going to this course every weekend now, and we can hardly stand the wait between each Sunday :) |

Splat Attack (Paint the Farm) in Bridgewater |

This is a great field. The prices are great; they buy at wholesale and sell at wholesale. The field is also very good, there is a "center field" for speedball and a 25 foot area around that for full-field play. They also have alot of cool obstacles (tree houses, castle, etc...) that make the game more interesting. This is not "urban", at least in my mind, because it is in the middle of nowhere at a local farm. What I just said probably made you picture a large field, maybe a corn field, but the course is very wooded and there is a lot of tall grass and plants to hide behind. It also is very fun because the sun will cut through the top of the trees making beams of light among the darkness. Very cool. The owners are so nice that once when I was there, my gun broke and they let me use their rental until I got it fixed! Great people. Finally, every time that I was there, there was at least 10 other people there to play against; you'll never be there by yourself. Overall, this is a great field, the prices are great and the people are great. Highly recommended. |
