Low Country Paintball - Ludowici: LCP is a great field. There is always people there, the people are cool, and the fields are great! Prices are also very reasonable. |

I just wanted to let you know that Paintball City is no longer in business. If you were planning on going here, take another 15 minutes and head out to Low Country Paintball on Hwy 57 south of Ludowici. There's some good paintball right there!
Well, I just got an error saying I need some more words, lol. It really didn't surprise me that PB City closed it's doors. The field was hardly maintained, and there were never any scenario games or tournaments there. He needed to cater to the player, and he just didn't do that. Or I may be totally wrong in what I am saying. I don't know. I was in Iraq when he closed. |

I will list the Good things and the Bad things about the park below.
------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------------------
|GOOD|
(1)Speedball field is great!
(2)The bigger courses have plenty of rugged terrain and objects to hide in and behind.
(3)The owner rocks!
(4)The set up is nice and cozy to where if your out its easy to watch your teammates fight on.
(5)Alot of military guys live in the area that play here.
|BAD|
(1)There are places in the old trailer park area of the field where if you aren't careful you can get hurt in.
(2)Prices are high on paint, but that's how they keep the field up and running so...
(3)No Official Referees(Atleast when I went there wasn't any.)
------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------
To come you must have 10$ for the field fee, and also another 10$ for the all day air and rental equipment. The price for paint is 60$ for 2000 balls.
**Dont believe the crap that people feed you about this field being bad because I loved it, and it was very enjoyable.**| Last edited on Monday, January 30th, 2006 at 5:14 pm PST |

I came to Ft. Stewart, GA from South Korea (I am in the Army). One of the first things I did once I got there was look for a paintball field. I ended up finding Paintball City in the phone book. After I called the owner and found out where it was I went there that weekend.
At first site the paintball field didn't seem that impressive. I saw a hyperball field and at the time what looked like an urban field. The facilities aren't anything fancy. There is a small shop there with a limited amount of gear. I looked a little closer and it seemed like everything had a layer of dust on it.
I waited around for a little bit and a few more people showed up to play. We started out playing on the hyperball field because we only had 3 people. Later in the day another 4-5 showed up. Little did I know this was the most people I would ever see there.
I went there two more times to play, and only got to play once. He kept saying there were supposed to be groups that were coming in to play, but they never did. I wasted my whole day.
I would have had more fun sitting in front of my TV playing Greg Hastings' Tournament Paintball on my XBOX. |

good prices if u have your own equipment its 10 if u don't its 20 paintball prices are 17.50 for 500 30 for a bag of 1k and 60 for a box. the guy that owns the place is really cool and so is his dog. the fields are awesome but be care full if ur hiding in the trailers they are starting to get wasps nests in them just leave em alone and ull be good. the speed ball field is probably the best with 3 to 5 man teams. i highly recommend this field to anyone in the area the only problem i have with it is the drive which is an 1hour from saint Simon's island. |

I just moved in the area from Chambersburg, PA. After playing at Wiseguy's for about a year, I was used to cheap prices and a small field.
Well, I like the fact that he has a nicely maintained field. His Hyperball field is my favorite, but I also like the trailers. The only thing you have to watch for is anthills. You slind into one and you are gonna be screaming for a few minutes as you run to his staging area known as "The Hospital".
He has scenerios once in a while. One is the "Moonshine Run". Very fun to play as I have been told.
His prices for the air ticket along with his field fee is $20 total. A bit too steep for me paying $100 just to start off the day.
I'll give it a 8, due to the prices and the field setup. |

Super nice field. I've played there about 4times and have never had a bad experience. They have a lot of great fields and the guy that owns it is super cool. The paint prices are a little high but the field fee and air fee make up for that. This is a well rounded field with speedball, woods play, car lot, boat yard, trailers and a bunch of other stuff. Go there if you can!! |

I've played at paintball city for a very long time and never had a bad experience (aside from making the 40 min drive from Savannah and there not being enough players that show up to have a decent game).
The prices are awesome: $60 per case of good paint, $20 for combined field fee, all day air, and equipment rental (mask, neck guard, JT mask, and 20oz tank).
The fields are great. Howard, the owner, is always adding to and improving the fields. There are 7 defferent areas of play, but they are not divided, so we often play games using several areas. Areas include:
--new speedball field (about 40yrd x 50yrd, good for 3-5 man teams) made of huge plastic drainage pipes,
--"town" area with 4 or 5 cinder-block buildings(which are about 10yrd x 20yrd with several windows and doors) and other smaller barricades (town area is about 70yrd x 70yrd),
--"parking lot" area (not were players park) with 40 or 50 old cars which are very fun to shoot (area is about 70yrd x 70yrd),
--"hay bales" area made up of mostly big 4foot hay bales but also some old satelite dishes, 5 or 6 old boats, a few misc. barricades, and a large "fuel dump" area (which has several huge plastic water tanksthat are about 20feet in diameter and 20 feet tall surrounded by a 3 foot cinder block wall. In the corner there is a huge "birthday cake" which is like a 30foot tall, 3-tier birthday cake, that can be climbed and used like a tower.
-- "trailers" area which is made up of 4 or 5 old mobile homes just inside the woodline of woods area,
--woods area which is roughly in the shape of a fat U, wraping around the "parking lot" area, "trailers" area, "hay bales" area, and "town" area. The woods are moderatly thick but I think they would be a little more appropriate for paintball if it was thinned out a little.
--"Tree farm" area is made up of fairly young pine trees planted in rows. The field is about 70yrd x 150yrd but there is very little cover besides the pine trees (which are only about 6-8 inches thick), so the games here are very fast paced.
--"old speedball course" which will soon be torn down and replaced with a sup air (inflatable barricade) field.
There is a small field in Savannah (where i live) but I make the 40 min drive out to Hinesville because I think it's worth it, and it's only getting better; Howard pours all the profits back into the fields. The fields are great, the guys that work there are friendly and fair, and I haven't seen better prices anywhere. I would recommend this place to anyone ( I have seen groups of 10yr old kids come out and have a great time next to 30 and 40yr old retired army guys).
