Review: Being the only field i have ever been to, i don't have much to compare it to, but here goes.

The game areas are large and varied, and include a speedball arena and a new area featuring trenches, cars and derelict buildings (this area is used for a great game of capture the flag). 8 games are held throughout the day (10am till 4pm) including speedball, bomb the village (a bomb must be carried into an enemy fort) and destroy the radar (the enemy radar must be shot 10 times to win)

The paintballs are on the expensive side, at 7.75 for 100, but all game packages include an amount of balls (and 300 will happily suit most people for the day. The balls have a thick fill and almost always break, but are never chopped.

The VForce goggles used are very good, giving good face coverage and not fogging up (unless you are a heavy breather and like to sit still). The Inferno markers used are on the poor side, breaking down sometimes and requiring cocking or replacement. The elbows also aren't very secure, sometimes resulting in the hopper falling off (spilling some precious balls). However, being infernos, they dont chop balls and are easily fixed by the marshalls in between games.

The predator, a 6 foot man in a plastic suit, appears in two out of the eight games during the day. Armed with a Tippmann 98C, he wanders the battlefield looking for movement (it can only see movement, so it ignores stationary players). Shooting the predator is always a laugh, but dont be suprised if he turns round and plugs you.
