First off im not th most skilled paintball player nor am i the worst. so bear with me here:)
Aright i went with a church group to the field and the refs were a little late getting out there but it was no big deal becuase they let us stay longer. anyhoo.
One of the refs went to inflate the bunkers while the other gave us a very thourough saftey spaech and handed out gunz . the rentals gunz are tippman 98 customs wih a 9 ounce tank(pretty standard). they have 3 feilds: an X-ball-esque field(my fav.) a basic airball field and a very nicely laid out hyperball field. Unfortunatly, the netting on the hyperball field was all jacked up so we couldnt play on it, but it looks great.
safety- they were very safty concious there. the refs were very clear and thourough with there explanations and guidlines. after every game one would stand at the exit REMINDING us to but our safety's on and barrel plugs in. this worked very easily and better than taking our guns away or putting us in timeout.
refs- the refs were AWSOME!
before and after each game they would help get our stuff cleaned up and would give us tips on how to play better. They made fair calls and would even go check out ppl if you think you had hit them. they were always on there toes. When my ion started leaking air they couldnt fix it at the field but Brian lent me his dynasty shocker with no questions asked. he just kinda ploped it into my hands and said have fun. How cool is that?? ill tell you, very. the fact that they are so concerned with us having fun and even lending some kid a tornament gun is amazing and i highly comend them on that aspect.
As far as price goes, we got a bag of 500 balls for $10, but im not sure if it was on a group discount. im also not sure wat brand the balls were but they were okay. nothin to play touney ball with but good cheap paint for just haveing fun.
Stores: I realize that this is a field review but i would like to mention their two stores. The older one which is closer to the field is old. its not the nicest looking thing but it has all the parts and gunz you will need. they are planning on getting it renovated soon so it should be much nicer soon. They just opened up a new store on kingston pike which is VERY nice. not as big as the older one but its very clean and well stocked as well. Anyone working at the shops is more than happy to just chat about paintball with you and will let you see and hold anything you see. great customer service, same as on the field.
Bottomline: nice fields, good reffing, two great stores, good prices, and just a good ol time.
a solid nine
P.S.
plz comment on this review. it is my first one so im sry if the spelling and what not is not very concistent.| Last edited on Sunday, September 10th, 2006 at 5:28 pm PST |

I will admit, the field has been there longer than any others in knoxville that are even decent. However, the fields look like crap, sup'air or not they look cheap, they are way too small (not enough bunkers) i mean..go to their website and look at the pictures, the fields are way too plain and open ...dont waste your time. Another thing is that there website is hardly ever updated...hasn't been updated since September 05 or later...pretty sad. I remember back when there wasn't any room to park and stuff, I'm glad they've cleaned up since then. I guess you can have sucky fields like these if you're one of the only fields in Knoxville, that's why people say their fields are good is bc they have no other options. Hope this helps.| Last edited on Monday, March 20th, 2006 at 7:15 pm PST |

KPS is great and they now have 1 X-Ball field, sup air ball fields, and 1 hyperball field, great fields and if you want to go against their teams go on sundays.Paint is $50 per case, field and air is $20. awesome place.if you want to play one of the sup air ball fields is deflated and you want to play it they will inflate it for you so you can play it...chea| Last edited on Sunday, March 26th, 2006 at 6:02 pm PST |

There was no refs. They did not have the right thing for c02, and they ran out nitro before the day was over. The feilds are nice.Paint is a good price. fdeild fees are about normal. The feild floods easily after just a little bit of rain. The rental guns are tipmen 98 and a5s. |

This place is very nice they have 2 active fields one is Hyper Ball and the other is pallets they are building on soon . They can fill up nitro all the way up to 4500 which is really rare around here . the parking place really sux there we almost had to put it in 4 wheel drive to get there . They also dont sell food or drinks so bring your own the prices are pretty cheap and the fields are very nice . |
