Usually has all parts on hand for minor repairs including eye's and soldering. Complete o-ring rebuilds on site. One of the only Freestyle Techs in the area. Why send it out and wait. This is the best field in CT. Weekends there are always people to play with (speedball). The Factory Team is there on weekends also. Scenario's are also awsome! The theme's are litterally out of this world. Halo, Resident Evil among others! The woods field is enormous! The largest one I have everybeen or played on. ALl the fields are well kept and continuously changing. The owner Chrispy is always there for help and insight.
you can find them on the wedsite www.strategyplus.com

What to say about this field, I ve been apart of this field for about two years, where else are you gonna go, when you show up someone is bound to know your name, it will more then likely be chris the owner.
This field has come a very long way in just two short years, even though they have been in the industry longer then just about anyone else, not just in CT, I am talking about the world.
They have gone from catering to the woods ball guys to hosting big scenario games to hosting speed ball tournys on their own dedicated sup air speedball field (140 x 100) and still expanding
they now have a HPA system up to 4500 psi
someone at the field is selling refreshments most weeks
good refs, fair refs
great caliber paintball players in all aspects of the game.
it does not matter what you are looking for, strategy plus has it, simple throw back Woods ball games, big scenario games, or speed ball...only one place to come.
I have played in a couple in RI, but they don't compare at all.

Review:
The fields here are great. Speedball field is the best!!!!!! The field is nice and flat and no big rocks! The woodchips are great because they are small and not huge ones so its very nice to slide on. We currently have a regulation size Xball field setup. We (the factory team) are there every weekend. The prices are very reasonable and you can fill up your tank to 4500. The staff is very nice and will try to help you with any problem you have. There is no on site proshop at the field but they have stuff to help you out. The woods fields are the best in CT and the speedball field is one of the best in CT too. All in all Strategy Plus is a great field for speedball players (you will love the field and prices are good on paint) and a great place for woods players. All levels of play are welcome, weather your just starting or are a novice or better player!
This field has been open since 86 and I've been playing there since 87, so I've seen all the changes that the field has gone through. Let's see, back when I started there was no X-ball field, no village, just the woods. We shot rental Nelspots and used field only team color paint (if you were on the blue team and got shot with blue paint, it didn't count). As the game changed Strategy Plus changed to keep current. I remember years where it was BYO paint, but cheap paint always was a problem with the rentals. Since they've gone to field only paint the number of problems with paint and rentals has dropped significantly. Rental guns went from Nelspots, to Tippmann SL-68 pumps to Spyders, to Tippmann model 98's. Rentals are well maintained and function well. They can fill CO2 and Air to 4500. Yes, it is field only paint, but they have a couple of different types and prices. They also have 'package deals' (registration, paint, rental if necessary) that are very reasonable.
There is no proshop at the field but the employees are quite knowledgable and are very willing to help. Spare parts are limited, because the operate out of the back of a truck, but the staff is more than willing to dig into their spares to help out a fellow player.
Their woods fields vary in size and they are able to 'adjust' the size of some of the bigger fields to suit smaller groups. Their scenerio games are well run, with plenty of referees on the field, including player-refs. The scenerio games use a good combination of the fields, I remember one scenerio where the x-ball field was worked in.
Strategy Plus is the best field i've played! the wood's are awesome and being a ref there i personally know how cool we are. we are always there to help out and we put the playerz first followed by the game. we have many people there that know their way around many different guns types.
chrispy is the man, carl is awesome tim's a sped but we love em newayz, peg(AKA larry, tiny, ryan, crip killa) is funny. james is a little slow but he's cool nehow, and the guys on the team are crazy. they are so funny always kicking people in the groin and wresting. good times guys
