i can't say enough good things about this field. the terrain is unbelieveable with hills trees, stream, waterfall, cliffs, man made bunkers, foot bridges, streams, etc. there is enough field land where you can actually sneak around without being seen. there is also a close quarters field (called the village just like every other field in the world!) and a really nice speedball field.
the owner is a super-nice guy who's willing to help anybody out! they do a very good job for being as understaffed as they are. usually, only 2 refs will go out on a 15 acre field with a group of 10 per side. it could be really bad but most of the people who play there are regulars, including my group of about 8...and they will also get plenty of walk-ons. they mix the skill up pretty good and they are good about keeping games going as long as you keep saying something (beaner, one of the refs, is a little slow in the head, you will see) refs are young kids but very responsible and fair. they all have a good amount of PB experience and know how to run games. one of the refs talks way too much and thinks he is God's gift to paintball but you can just ignore him.
paint prices are normal and you can get a variety of different types and quality depending on your budget. i usually spend about $100 per visit.
Great Refs and great fields. Their scenario games are nothing to shake a stick at alot of fun. They have onsite grill for food and will order pizza for you while you play. Their truck has alot of spare parts on it. I never have a problem finding help fixxing my gun. Paint is relatively cheap. They allow heavy weapons during scenarios (rocket and grenade launchers) . Very good, friendly, nice people. All the woods fans should try playing here. Tons of new terrain every time I go. I go their about twice a month. Refs do the best they can and are very impartial.

Period of Field Use:
-choice of fields
-outrageously expensive for both renters and non renters
-must use field paint...at like $70 a case
-rampant cheating even with judges
-judges who don't enforce rules
-judges who play and then cheat themselves
-no pro shop
-did I mention cheating?
-some of the fields are just too darned big.
Real nice fields, super woody. You can go a couple games without seeing anyone. But its nice. No proshop or anything, they operate out of the back of a truck. So if something on your gun goes wrong you’re screwed. Food is not on premises; they do a lunch run to a local deli. Cool. Um, you get a few wackos there, who are convinced they’re still in 'nam; but the majority of people there are normal and fun to hang out with. Kind of expensive, its field paint only, and they only fill nitro to 3000 psi, but overall great if you’re into woodsball. They have awesome group deals, and stuff like that. Personally, I like the field. Way better than Hogan's for woodsball.
Their are other fields in the area, but none that I have played at.
I just attended my second scenario game held at Strategy Plus. This game was “Code Name – Trixie” and was an all day game. I must say that the game was well player and reffed. That is not to say that this was a perfect game, but it certainly was a great day of paintball. The field is all woods with a town, hyperball area, a fort and lots and lots of rugged terrain that makes it fun to play. The field is all woods with lots of rocky places to hide and have great firefights. The owner is very open to any suggestions that would assist the game play and also seemed interested in making sure folks had a good time. Overall both time’s I have played here I have had a good time. I would not hesitate to play here again. The only down side that I saw was maybe 5 or 10 CO2 tanks that were filled at the field had the burst disk blow out. I am not sure if this was a fill station problem or just that we started out in a very cool morning and it warmed up quickly.
none in the area, played in penn. and in VT. and Fl.
I am the Capitan of team Fuel. I play here all the time.(for team practice and tournaments) It is pretty much like any paintball field just bigger(Huge amount of woods) I have reffed and played at this field and i still dont know the whole thing. But my favorite part is the X-ball field. But its not just the field that makes you want to come back, its the staff from workers to players. Everyone at the field is great and they will help you with anything from directions to help with playing a bunker.(and everyone knows what they are talking about) I have to give a shout out to the owner Chrispy.
Playing at matts again this weekend
Again, its a great place and a wonderful enviroment but if you want speedball, this is not the place for you, if you are looking for woodsball , then you cant beat this place. even tho they do have an xball field now its just not enough. the village does kick ass and i have spent many hours there.

None. Probably because I play mostly stock and Strategy Plus caters to both Stock, Semi and Pump.
The entire filed structure has been redone. I was most impressed playing the new X-Ball field. Wow, giant inflatables. What will they think of next. For those that like woodsball, filed can be played whole or in half with either flag capture or total elimination. I guess it depends on the size of the teams playing. So many choices between, woods, X-ball, village, fort and others that I was impressed. Used to be they only had woods filed but now this place rocks. Glad to see this field meets or exceeds others in the are.
Personnally I would have commissoned an inflatable Jim Iulo in place of the 'X' on the X-Ball filed.
The Good - This place has the best woods fields in the state, they are f-ing huge. There are four (i think) and each is a couple acres so you got lots of room to move. Their is also a Village (speed ball) and I herd that they have put in a Hyper Ball field and are thinking of buying a Sup-Air field. The refs are all really nice guys and are helpful enough.
The Bad - Because of the size of the fields you use up most of your energy just going to the starting point and then you have to walk all the way back and on some of the fields this can take 15 min. The paint is also a bit pricey $70 for RPS. The speed-ball fields that I did get to play on were a bit ghetto it looked like they put it up in only a few minutes. The team that plays there is also a bit of a joke (or so I have herd).
Overall the Strategy is a good place to play and a must for woods ball players. If you are into speed-ball you are going to the wrong place, try Hogans or Matt's. I give them an 8.
I have been to this place twice and it keeps geting better and better. It seems like every time i go there there are new fields. They have just put in two sweet speedball feilds in. They also have alot of wood fields, i have been there twice and i have yet to play them all! If u are thinking about the prices they are ok, but a case of paint there cost $70. When i go there i split the cost with my friend so its not to bad. The rules there are fair and the reffs are cool and help you out alot as long as you dont shoot them. If you wont to go play then come here i highly recomend it. I started going to there scenerio games this summer. They are the best, theres nothing better then an 80 on 80 all out war all day!!!! Its the best way to play paintball in my eyes. strategypluse.com if u wont to talk paintball i m me jfdeadkennedy
