this is the first feild i have ever played at. When i first went out there i thought they were going to be rude and take advantage of me but they were really nice. the feild is awesome they have a tower in the middle of the field. they have some really cool games. I think the only bad thing is the times its open which is on thursday and saturday
the phone number for the field is 251-2908 they're closed this time of the season but they will open by appointment

Action Pursuit Games in American Falls ----------Great field as well just a different type
A great Speed ball field, if your use to bunkering up for long periods time this is not the field for you, if your looking for a fast exciting game that requires you to move and work as a team, this is the place. As far as the prices go it's one of the more economical fields I have seen.
Mike is great. He runs a very safe and fun game. If you paintball and live in Southeast Idaho you must go there and play!!!!!
Overall this is a great field for beginners and experts alike. I give it a big ol' 10
G+H paintball: worse
Field in american falls: better
menan: better for woods
The field is not really in pocatello. It took us a while to find it, but we got there eventually. It's actually in chubbuck. The field is pretty much a dimented rectangle. They have a huge fort in the middle of the field. It was on grass, which was nice. The bunkers needed some work, most were singe faced. They now have compressed air fills, and a bigger selection of paint. The players were friendly and chatted with us once we introduced ourselves. They were pretty busy, and they had some cool games goin.
Last year the trip wasn't worth it. Now, I'm going back for the 3rd time this upcoming saturday (5/15). they have worked with some of the bunkers, and added multiple sides. there was less horse poo, which was nice. For anyone who has played at G&H, and doesn't like their attitude, this is the place to go. at this field, it is cool if you have an angel. at G&H, if you don't own a tippmann, you are a loser. you read that right. they know about current PB events, and new hot guns like the karnivore and the DM4. You can shoot people more than once and not get chewed out. overshooting at G&H is anything more than one. here, i shot people up to 4 times (not on purpose mind you) and they did not yell at me or anything. sure, I appologized, but no one rode up on me about it.
Also i was told they might be runnin a tourney this year, which would be fun. I for one am tired of playin the same teams on the same field with the same "fair" rules at G&H. let me put it this way: the owner of the field is the head ref, he plays in the tournies, and he rearanges the field the night before to suit his tactics.
generally speaking, the attitude of this field amkes the trip worth it. Last year, I can't really say I cared about attitude. but after getting burned out on pb at G&H, it was refreshing to come to a place with nice people and good conversations. check this place out, it is only going to get better.
edit again: I have to add that the reffing was really bad, they did not get into the bunkers to check the people in the middle for fear of getting shot, or even hear me calling for a paintcheck most of the time. I even considered shooting at the ref just to get his attention. but this field is recball, so it isnt as important as a tourney situation.
edit AGAIN! its now in 05, and I felt I needed to add to my review. the field is now pretty much speedball. the guys are still the same group of great people to play with. Mike is now doing more tournies, and that is better in general. the competition is getting better, and it is a pretty good place to go for tournies. if you still havent checked it out, you need to get on it and get over there.

I have played at Splatagory in Idaho falls and Aktion Zone in Boise and neither compare close to the prices or service at Pirate Paintball
Pros- Good price ($18 for gear, gun, and 100 rounds paint)
Good rental gear
Free field admission on Thursday
Cons- Hard to find first time out
only open twice a week
Overall a great field for recreation and some tournament play. Gear is very cheap compared to other places (almost half the price of Aktion Zone), but good in quality.
Very friendly service and other players are friendly also, giving advice to new players like me. Only problem is that it is open twice a week causing some schedule problems, but that's not too bad.
