Holy God! This field is awesome! Ok, I am basing this review off of one experience and that was a big game (Tippmann World Challenge) . So this may be a little different than a review for regular play.
-This field is HUGE!!! The sheer vast scale of this place will blow any other park out of the water, there is a large pond filled with six foot tall reeds that's just freaky to be in, Large bunkers ( the Castle is nearly a half to a third acre big and two stories and other bunkers are the size of "forts" at other fields. And a village!) there was a problem with all things being outdoors, but they are building an indoor proshop/ staging area for non big games that will fix that.
-Not the place to play if you are not into woods ball and would prefer an air ball or hyper ball game.
-You don't get to play using the whole place all the time, there would never be enough people.
In conclusion, I you live anywhere in the Midwest and can't make it to Florida for Wayne's world than this is the place for you.

All in All a good field. New speed ball course. Relatively good refs.
Awesome Scenario Games!!!!
However their FPS rules are terrible, they make you chrono in at 289, then will randomly check the group after a break meaning the Black Co2 tank has warmed up from the sun. Meaning you get Penalized for a deviation, anything over 289 even 290, that will not occur on the field after the first 4-5 shots. Being over not only gets you kicked from that game but also gets a permanent mention of your record.
Can be rather frustrating.
But on good days a nice field, but watch your CO2!!
I Give it an 8 because of the big games (i.e. Global Conquest, Tippmann World Challenge, Michigan Monster Game) otherwise a 6.
Futureball, the speedball fields are nice there but the outdoor sessions are trash.
I have grew up in paintball on this field. It has changed over the years, usually in a good way. Except now it cost $15 for one session which is not cool for poor people. They are taking down (or already have) the masters field which was my favorite field. They already moved and changed the village, used to be a great field. The help there is excelent and so is the location, 1/4 mile away from the store and 1/2 mile away from McDonalds. Prices on paint in the store are great but not at the field. The referees are ok, some stand there and dont paint check, but others are just fine.
atomix-see my review
pontiac- expensive everything (160$ a case)
rjs in davison- nice fields and great prices but angry head ref.
this is a nice field. they have a lot of fields and one hyperball field. a lot of big games and special events that accumilate huge numbers of players. run 2 classes normally and have private games if you have a big pocket. all dirt fields are hard on sliders and paint runs at 80$ a case when you can buy the same paint at the proshop 1/4 a mile away for 60$. field paint is not required execpt in retals. velocity runs at 289 or below.
the real thing that sets this field apart are there monster games. they are truly massive with 2000+ players. retal guns are in terrible condition so dont bother with one. picnic tables fill the staging area as well as a few rusty lockers for your gear. you play 6 games per session at 10$ a session. 2 sessions daily. good refs that are mostly very knowlagable. this is a good field when the tempature is right for outdoor play.
