Nitro was a great paintball field so much to do and the fun never stopped. The refs and Mario did a great job keeping everyone safe without yelling, they made it a fun and enjoyable expirence. It is a fairly small field but for the size it is amazing. The hours are great too it opens at 10:00am and closes at 5:00pm. Paintballs at Nitro are great and affordable the have nice paintballs for only $40.00 a case. They have the best staff of any paintball field i have ever played in. They are all nice and enjoyable to be with. It also attracts a medium sized crowd not to big not to small, and all the players are there to have fun, and there were no serioce cheaters there. Nitro is kept great, the facilities were nice and there was plenty of protection. The 2nd best thing about Nitro is the food they have got the best Burgers in Atlanta, and best of allthey are cheap. I do plan on returning to Nitro alot it is the best most affordable paintball field in The East by far.
I have played at ultimate and it does not even compare to this field

I have played at ultimate several times, and every time i go the experience gets worst. Last time i took both of my sons and we ended up playing each other all but the last hour we played . It flat out sucked.I went to NITRO by my friends request.Let me tell you I and both of my sons had a blast. There was maby 50 or so people playing and everyone was nice besides getting shot of course. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY PLACE I PLAY FOR SOME TIME . GREAT PEOPLE,GREAT REFFS,GREAT OWNER,AWSOME GAME. CHECK IT OUT.
i went to nitro for my friends birthday party i had so much fun i had to go back for my party we had so much fun and the refs and Mario were great we got to do so much stuff i cant wait to go back anybody that plays at this field will surely come back to play again i went for my first time 2 weeks ago and had to leave early to go to work i had so much fun the last time i called in sick to work just to play at nitro the refs are nice and friendly and most importantly they keep you safe
My sons and I were introduced to paintball via a birthday party in November 2006. What a welcome! We were so impressed my son just had his birhtday party there and we were not disappointed. Mario and his family are the best and nicest people you could possibly want to meet. What an awesome time! Our group consisted of 2 adults and 12 kids all 11-13 years of age. We played speedball, western town (my favorite), and storm the castle and fort. Besides the break for lunch, we played non-stop until the sun went down. Another kid in our group had such a good time he wants to have his party there. As for my son and I, we are acrtually becoming more serious players because of our experience at Nitro. We plan on attending the next scenario outing. If you are a first time player or any other type of player, I could not imagine a better place to start your paintball experience. I am probably a little byast since this is the only feild I have ever played.
Classic- This field is ok, but they do not have enough refs.

This field is great, the prices are low, the staff is nice. I like the way the staff runns the place. Lots of games are played, and you don't have to wait a long time for the next game to start. The woods area is big and the rest of the fiels are also in good shape. This was my first time at this field. I would definately be back it worth my hour of driving to get there.
I love playing here, the staff and Mario are awesome and run this place incredibly. The prices for paint and rentals are awesome, and getting free air included in your field fee is great. The players don't wipe and the refs are nice. I strongly encourage people to come play here. Great selection of fields, and fun playing enviorment.

May or may not be in the "area"
Classic - Too many cheaters, everyone wipes, and not enough refs
Carnage - Decent woodsball field for the money

All right, first of all, i have only been once but my first impression was amazing. The staff is hands down the best i have encountered thus far. Everyone is very nice and very helpful. Saftey is a major concern and thats always a good thing. They also have like 7 fields, so there is a large variety and some very nice layouts (watch the alleyways!). I really liked the way the fields played, all were unique in their own way. I went on a pretty slow day (two days before x-mas ;-P) but the regulars that were there were awesome. They don't cheat like most of the players at other fields.I STRONGLY recommend you check this field out and i will see you there because i will be a regular there from now on.
the field is awesome it is the only field that i have played at that the owner really talks to you. Mario keeps the refs on their toes and the field in good condition. if you are just starting or have been playing for ten years play here. theres no better place.
man, that (pntballa31)guy sounds like the kind that is self centered, and loves the thrill of being a glory hound ,and does'nt sound like he knows whats he's talking about.paintball isn't a sport of "a one man team" , is about being a team help each other out. And nitro is the place to go ,the guys are awesome and the atmosphere is great .And the prices are cheap = ($20 that's with no rentals). they have 2 speed-ball fields one air-ball and one spools.I think they recently made the air-ball field. They also have a excellent woods-ball field. this field is for newbie and pro. GO TO NITRO. I promise It will be a blast.I give it a eight no fields perfect.
Arkenstone: I liked Arkenstone, they have lots of fields and the staff is nice.
24hour games: Had a great time up here as well. They are in Dalton but are geared to big sceanrio games that take place every few months as opposed to walk on fields.
Wildfire: I only liked Wildfire OK. They staff seemed nice but Im not a speedball fan and the location I played in only had the one indoor field. If its raining and you are itching to play, then I believe thats the only field in Atlanta thats indoor.

Nitro was recommended to me by a friend who had played there a few weeks ago. I went there for the first time yesterday and had a blast. Here is a quick overview of the field:
Price:
Hands down, the cheapest field I have played at here in Atlanta. Both the field fees and paint prices are extremely reasonable.
Service:
Along with great prices, you get great service! Mario and his family really make you feel at home and are very accommodating. You can order lunch when you get there and they will have it ready for you at lunch time. It has the atmosphere of a small family owned restaurant where you and yours go all the time and everyone knows you and chats you up.
Fields:
They have several fields that should satisfy all types of Paintballers. For Speedball players, they have a typical Air ball field as well as a very nice “Spool” field set up for Speedball type games.
They also have some great Woodsball fields which include a great wooded area with stream and bridges, lots of bunkers and even a nice fort to defend/attack.
What field these days is complete without a western town? Nitro has small western town with several rows of buildings and even a gallows in the center.
General:
Overall, I was impressed by the field and staff. Safety was important to them and thats important to me (refs will not let you take off your masks until everyone has shown them their barrel sock on the gun). I will definitely be returning to Nitro (as often as the hot Atlanta summers will allow).
