I have been to every park around and this is by far my favorite. There is always a game on and variety of fields in un believable, and the competition canít be beat. I have never had a bad game here, and there is more than just paintball to watch in between games I enjoy watching all the other activities going on around the park.
Well here is how my day starts off. Wile riding in a carvan with a bunch of other guys we see a bunch of refs sitting at the entrence of the park with sines saying brass eagle sux. We all go up to register and a guy says that all the refs are on strike and they can only help those with a private party.....................We werent one of them.......... They gave us all free passes. As we started to walk out our had guy says to us that scense we are such a large groups they will treat us as a private party. They gave free rentals to n-e-one who needed them. I guy to the fill station and am filling my nitro tank when it breaks........ The guy was exstremly nice about it trying to fix it but couldn't. CO2 for me!!!! Sense they are short on refs they could only have 2 feilds open at a time. First 2 were town of bedlam and armagedon. First of I dont what the heck they were talken about with the video.............All the refs did was give us a talk down of the rules. They could only have to refs on the feild because they wre so short handed.(We actully played ok with an honor system). They closed aregedon and opened temple of doom. Nice field = long wait. The game was good though. All of us are woods players o we felt athome in there. That was about all the time we had becasue of all the diffuculties. I think the staff did good making us happy and giving us free admision and all. I would probley go back again. If your playing compeativly i could see this being a drag from wipes, but if your playing with a group of friends it can be real fun.
This place SUCKED!!!! The refs are complete idiots! We had gotten there and the refs were on STRIKE!!! They are hourly NON UNIONED (a ref union doesn't exist thank god) refs who felt that if they all pulled together and had a REF STRIKE that their demands would be fullfilled. I've been talking to a lot fo the old refs that used to work at CPX and they said that the management there is open and friendly and nice to work with there, but they had hired a lot of "bad seeds" in terms of refs in the past few years. Ones without any experience and ones who honestly where more interested in just going to work and instead of working, having fun doing other things. This honestly was very much evident.
We played there, but instead of me playing, I volunteered to ref a few games of my own. I've had a ton of experience playing and reffing before and found that the management there is perfectly fine. I don't understand the moron refs. I guess this is what happens when you hire kids who couldn't even get through high school. As for CPX and their ref situation, they are hiring more refs, I'm actually applying to help out this summer. This venue is AWESOME, but it needs to rebuild its trust from its customers after the ref walk out. If you go this summer, you'll be good... there will be at least one fair ref there.. me.
All the fields here are scenario fields. Its got 150 acres of stuff. There are about 20 minutes in between each game, which is bad. You usually only get 4-5 games and your outta paint.
The refs her SUCK. They have huge fields and only 2 refs per field. People are constantly wiping....1 guy wiped 6 shots. They only run 1 game at a time so it takes forever. If they had more refs it would be good, but they dont so its not. Its $18 to get in to, and they make you buy there paint for $25 for 500 which is outrageous.
well the line to get in sucks and the safety video is like wow 16 mins, long damn it felt like a whole day the refs are pricks some are kool [ only one] only two fields open at one time they switched between arrmagedon and waste lands and beddlom was allways open i think there under stafed and they dont have a proper amount of refs there but i like the fields but everything eles sucks
CPX is a good park, yah it is expensive, but other then that its a good place to go. All the playing fields are really nice, and ofcourse you can skate or bmx if you dont paintball. Actually i think the refs are really cool and will give good advice (well except for one ref that tried to sell me a brass eagle blade for $50. you know one of those cheap pump action pimps.) Overrall its a good paintball park.
i'v played here ever since i started playing. Armagedon,Bedlam and Jungle of Doom are the best out of at least 25-50 playing fields. i love being their getting to know the people and playing their. you may have remembered it from William Shackner Splat Attack. the only problem is all the gun sales a FINAL. so you can't return the gun if it don't work.

Good: They have amazing fields like Bedlam and Armageddon that beat all other places ive been to. They have lots of forest playing fields and a good target range with a chrono to test. They have a proshop filled with every thing you would need and a small snack bar and repair shop.
Bad: The refs there arnt that great, I see about 10 refs there but most of them arnt doing anything. They only have about 10 games going on at a time which fills up the lines then really fast, so sometimes you have to wait about 30 min. to play a game when they could have 4 or 5 running. Over a period of 7 hours I only got to play 6 games which is a real waste of money and time. But the worst thing was watching that stupid video which is terrible, they are really to strict there I wont go back again unless there's a scenario game.
I had been going since before the BE buyout. It was OK before. Just after the buyout, I was so excited by what was being constructed. I started going there all the time. The fields were nothing short of incredible, particularly Bedlam. I was completely sold for the first two years. The refs were cool and knowledgable and got to know me and my team. Yeah, it's a tad pricey, but nothing to really complain about. Paint quality varied a bit, and towards the end of my time there I never knew what I'd see available on any given week - Diablo, RP, Brass Eagle, I saw it all.
Then, the change happened.
I can't put a finger on an exact date. Suddenly, all the cool refs I knew left one by one and were replaced with 10 year old kids. The paint went steadily downhill. That "new" safety briefing? God awful (I was actually there playing the day that was filmed).
The worst part? It got so that the only thing "Extreme" about Challenge Park was the wait in line. Last time I was there (middle of last year), people were seeing 30 minute + waits for Bedlam and Armageddon. They had exactly ONE group going out for woods ball at any given time. Sure were plenty of refs walking around the picnic tables talking to friends all day, though. There were around 300 people there to play that day, and having one open group was totally unacceptable. I got in like 5 games over the course of 7 hours between all the waiting, etc.. I felt ripped off. And I realized that the park had been going that way for some time now. My great experiences from the previous 2 years were too good to last, I guess.
I don't play there anymore. Just not worth it. Having said that, if you've never seen it, you must go at least once and try Bedlam and Armageddon. Truly the two coolest fields on the planet. It's just such a shame the rest is a complete waste. I might go once this year to see if they have corrected these issues. One can always hope. If they did, then I would be there every week.
