This place is what got me hooked on the game and beginning to become serious about the game. It's a byop and if you don't he has it for sale there. Rules are enforced and if you don't there is a punishment of possibly sitting out 2 games. The games are well put together and Ref's are always near by. The 10 acre field is cut in half by a main road and sometimes the cut it in half for the game or to a field and then you have the crazy full field game that is an hour long, it gets crazy out there. That is what got me hooked on the game. Then on top of that he orders lunch for anyone who wants it for $4 which includes a soda and 2 big slices of pizza. Around 3-3:15 they stop woods play and run the 3man hyperball games till 4, the hyperball field is small but its set up by tournament players and a tournament practices often there, and everyone who plays it has fun with it. The workers are cool and can help with most of the problems with the gun, but if they don't have the component to fix it and its still the middle of the day, Nick the guy who run's it, has given the guy a rental no charge. Now thats cool.
providence paintball, painted wariors, paintball heaven. and a couple others. they are all nice but none of them compare to niky's warzone
Warzone is the largest and best run paintball feild in rhode island...........I love this feild. It offers the best woodsball play, and a rebuilt 3 man speedball feild (built by tournament players) it is incredible. Nicky is the man. there is no one cooler in paintball then this guy. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS IT IS BYOP (BRING YOUR OWN PAINT)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is huge. And say you forget to bring paint, thats no problem cause Nicky has CHEAP paint pricing. Any questions about Warzone hit up his site at www.warzoneri.com or call the the PAINTBALL SUPPLY SHACK at (401)-353-6040 located at 2036 smith street, (rt. 44) No.Providence Ri. The paintball supply shack is sort of a business partner to nicky.....he gets his paint from there and the barrel socks have both the names on them.....Nicky you rock
Played at PB Heaven when it first opened. P&L Indoor. Providence Paintball. Cape Cod. Boston Paintball. SkyBall 2001.
Overall I think WarZone is one of the best places to play. And it's clean! I mostly enjoy speedball, but this field has awesome staff, great prices, good facilities, and good regular players. The owner, Nikki is a great guy. He will go out of his way to make sure you have a good, full day of fun. I recommend this field to anyone, newbie to pro. It's just a great place to go with a few friends and have a great time!
None in RI, but Hogans Alley, Extreme, and Matts in CT
Well, this is different than what im used to but its still pretty cool. The owner Nick is cool and will help you out if needed, the place has a good turnout of people. They have one huge field which they break up in certain games and put together in others, which offers variety which is pretty cool. The fields are in the woods, except for the hyper-ball field which is a 3 man field, and runs a little small (even for speed-ball). Some of the Woods fields are not very even, but considering it is woods it is pretty fair because its impossible for woods fields to be completely fair. They play hour and half hour games with recycling every 15 minutes (letting dead back in), they also play "football" which is a huge center flag speed-ball game which is really fun.
Great place with many different fields to play on. Cheap entrance fee and very good prices on paint. It is also BYOP which is a plus. Mostly woods, but they do have a small speed-ball field. The refs are fair and they do a good job calling people out or neutral for a paint check. All games are well organized and have quick recycling. If you have any problems with your gun Nick will do whatever he can to get you back to playing again. I guarantee you will have fun at Warzone. Now open Saturday and Sunday.

Paintball Heaven (MA) currently has slightly better fields, but horrible management, referees, and prices. Warzone is much more fun.
Providence Paintball is indoor, so the two can't be compared: woods vs. speedball.
Field quality and variety are very good. Management is knowledgable, well organized and friendly. The staff will assist with marker problems. You can Bring Your Own Paint (BYOP), which can help save significant money over a field that restricts you to their paint. Low admission fees. There are very short delays between games and recycling is consistent, usually at 15-minute intervals. Players spend very little time standing around. The referees are attentive, and safety rules are adhered to: masks and chronograph. Food and snacks are available. They can fill air tanks to 4500psi.
The field terrain has hills and is filled with lots of assorted bunkers. This tends to make games more fun and challenging than flat terrain fields. The majority of players are a mix of newbies through intermediate experience. A handfull of advanced players usually play.
I'd recommend playing at Warzone. If you haven't been there, give it a try. Its a great place to play paintball.
I dont really play at any other fields because i like this one.
This field is really fun to play at. I have been playing here almost since i have started playing paintball. They really inforce the rules here. They are building a new field with a big speedball field and still some rec. ball with a little village. It is gonna be sweet. The people there are really cool. The prices are good it is like 15 dollars if i can remember correctly or if they have changed it sence the new feild. The price of the paint was cheap. It was good paint not bad old paint that is sold for high prices.
eh i havent been to other fields locally but i heard a majority of them suck im some form or another
ive been here since i started playing a while ago and while i havent played at the new field but if its like the old one it will be great. Nick is an awesome guy and the games were always great. they kept it fair they kept it clean. from what nick tells me this is supposed to be even better than the old field with long games with quick recycles of refs and players to keep it fresh.
