Until i moved last year i was a long time player at Panic City. I always found the staff to be knowledgable and helpful. They take the time to listen to any concerns or questions. This is not a big city field where the main concern of the owner is to run a succesful business and then hustle the players out the door without so much as a "have a nice day". This field is great for fun and safe recreational paintball, perfect for where it is situated. The field is well layed out and can be played effectively with 2 to 40 people. However being a small field there are some draw backs, no HPA fills and limited facilities.Aa well being a small filed prices are slightly higher then at other fields, but the game play more then makes up for this But there is enough in the way of food and refreshments as well a washroom to keep an open minded person satsified. There is also a very pleasant town (Cobourg), 20 minutes and scenic drive away if need be. With pleasant staff and a great design, Panic City, though small and unique in comparison to big city fields is a perfect place to spend an afternoon or just see what paintball is all about. |

I have been to other fields were I used to live and my friends and I say this place is the best out of all of them.
They use pretty good guns and take care of them well. The staff is nice and if you ask they might even play a game or two with you.
There are trenches forts adn all sorts of different things there.
If you live in the area, you should really check this place out. |

Nice field to play. I went once a couple of years ago, the owner was very friendly. From what I remember, their prices were alright. They only have one field, and it's woodsball. There's a bunch of roots here and there sticking up out of the ground though last time I checked. The trees had all lower branches removed, and that made it a bit safer at least. We were playing at night when I went, which was fun, but thinking back, it was pretty unsafe. They had several flood lights on a telephone poll. Their safety wasn't too strict, I only remember having to chrono once throughout the 2-hour period of play. Barrel plugs were enforced, as well as mask rules. The refs were fair from what I can remember, although they didn't involve themselves much. This is, by the way, a family owned and run business. During one game, the owner's son joined and played in his ghillie suit against both previous teams combined, and I still think it wasn't very fair. At the time, I was about 11 or so, and I was shot from 5 or so feet away, in the thigh. This wasn't exactly the high point of the night, but it was still okay. The bathroom was a port-a-potty without a sink, and as far as I saw there was no food. Decent field for the occasional rec game, but I wouldn't play there routinely.| Last edited on Sunday, January 25th, 2004 at 6:15 pm PST |
