Hole in the wall is a very good field with extremely well setup fields and a very nice shop with everything you need for your gun, and barrells, tanks pods/packs loaders and a few guns for sale. But the real gem is their proshop in kalamazoo (the shops phone # is 269-353-2978), It has almost everything, top of the line guns and equipment. The field has 1 hyper ball field, and is making another....I think, an airball field, a plywood western town field with buildings, a military field, 1 or 2 speedball fields down the hill, and a huge woods field for scenario/ big game once a year. Their website is www.holeinthewallpaintball.com The hyper ball field gets pretty muddy in spring and after it rains, but its still playable. The walkon prices are very good, 10$ bring your own paint, 50-70$ a case for field paint, 5$ for all day nitro, i think 20$ for renting, and it comes with free all day CO2. Each CO2 fill is 1$ for a 9oz, 2$ for 12oz, 3$ for 20oz. I only spent 13.50$ all day (50 cents for a O-ring). This a very well organized field, always plenty of friendly people, and great staff.
I just need to clarify a couple of things, which is the prices listed above for Hole In the Wall, field fee is ONLY $10 if you bring your own paint, if you buy their paint, that's the only cost (unless you need a fill), rental is $15, and then the only additional cost would be paint...there are no other field fees, and paint goes from $50-$70 a case, $15-$20 for a 500 round bag...prices vary with the quality/brand of paint. And yeah, there arent any outhouses anymore, there's an indoor bathroom with sink/toilet/mirror etc, plus there are going to be 2, five man sized sup airball fields, and 2, five man hyperball fields...a long with the woods fields this 2004 season. I would suggest checking out the web-site for event dates, www.holeinthewallpball.com
Don't live in MI, but played at PB Blitz IL, and PB Shooters IL
The main reason i like this field and keep coming back is the prices. They make most of their money on sunday tounements so there is no need to jack up the price on field paint for walkons. It's still field paint only, but at the same price it would be in any other store. They carrie many different brands to. The staff and everyone there is very friendly and game play and atmosphere is relaxed, but safety is still very important. Because it is not a giant place, it is easy to get to know most everyone there. Also the hyperball and sup airball fields are very good. There is also a big woods field, a small speed ball field, and a "Western" theme fireld. It's pretty good all arround. A little rustic, but in my opinion it beats all the huge expensive places you could go to.
.68 Caliber. I prefer Hole In The Wall more than .68 caliber. .68 caliber charges way too much for paint, and is very over priced in general.
I used to be kind of wary of Hole in the Wall before I went there. After I went there, that was the only place I wanted to go. It has a hyperball field, an airball field, two woodsball fields, and a speedball field. I personally like hyperball and airball, but I admit the woodsball fields are set up very well. Good prices on paint, friendly service, and cool guys that are on the field team to talk to. Also, it's got a full service pro shop along with rentals, co2, and N2. Awesome field.
hole in the wall was the first time i went paintballing...i liked it because they have 4 or 5 fields and its not too crowded...its the best if you own a gun because their rental equipments arent good...i liked this place and i look forward to go to hole in the wall again....i recommend that you try this place
